Every Gourgeist has different stats, but their forms a not interchangeable in-battle.

By your logic, White Kyurem, Black Kyurem and Kyurem itself should just get one pokemon. Shaymin itself and Shaymin Sky too.
 
I'll keep Gourgeist at 4 different mons, because they play differently. So we deserve 4 different playing Grass/Ghosts again. (Not Accounting Trevenant)
