Well he went for dinner. We can get some matches in when you get back. And apparently I get Spanish Messages on the phone when I pick it up during a Brawl. That was awkward.

And man, good times. I actually wound up laughing so hard I suicided a few times. Those Zelda gimps were hilarious, Din's Fire really does own face.

Oh hell yeah man. I NEVER EVER play without items. No item battles are for %^&#ing noobs and 4Chan lovers. What kind of loser doesn't play without Smash Balls? They bring a WHOLE dimension of strategy into the game, obviously.

Actually going to need to give us a second, since Maku went to grab a quick bite to eat. Scratch that, My roomates want to play a bit of brawl, so we can brawl once Make gets back.
 
I just tried playing with Pikachu... I do fine when I am not online, but on wifi the tiny delay makes it hard for me to QAC... I am seriously considering giving up in wifi brawling... I cant win with any character...
 
Nah, it wasnt you... but I noticed something. I actually have like a 40% win rate over the last two weeks... I just seem to fail miserably, and now I am doing worse.

I just cant ever get in a KO, I suicide, I get raped by Ike even when Olimar is supposed to counter him, I get raped by people who use characters they never even touch, I just keep on losing and I am not getting any better.
 
Kira, remember that winning isn't everything. I love losing just as much as I love winning, because either way I've had a good fight and done my best.

The only time it's not fun to lose is when you dislike the other person, for whatever reason... but even then, you should just look at it as an experience in humility and get more experience.

Yes, but sadly it is not the losing I mind most. I just feel like I really suck. I dont feel like I am playing the game well and that makes it really hard to have fun. Also, experience my ass... I have played so many battles and I just keep getting worse... it is not helping at all.
Losing is not the unfun part, losing because no matter how hard you try, you suck ass is.

Well, how good is your connection? And what guys do you tend to use the most? If you're getting the slightest amount of lag (pretty much impossible not to get any) and you're using someone who requires precise spacing, chainable attacks, and has some harder-to-hit killing moves, you're not going to do good on wifi. Ike's abuse this and Wolf users also get along well in this I feel. I end up using Wolf more than any of my mains now because he's the only one who can handle input lag.

Do you have anybody who plays Brawl near you? Friends family? I think you'd do better there if lag is the case.

and you don't suck. You play a sick Olimar. I've only faced you Two and a Half matches, granted, but you weren't bad.
 
Nope... none of my friends play Brawl so the only way I can get better is by playing on crappy wifi where all my attacks seem to lag by a few seconds... this makes it really hard to get KO's.

Yeah that's the spirit, i guess we can be blue team!, if i don't respond quickly is because i can't focus on two things -_- but yeah i'm up for it.

You do play a great Olimar!! It took my Jiggly quite a while to bypass your pikmin! You beat me like 3 times in a row...remember?! :D

Please don't start doubting your abilities! Let's not forget that you teamed up with Wolt to finally put an end to our team battle winning streak!

Well, try to find out who on your friends roster has the best connection. You're not going to have the perfect match, but theres not much you can do. Also, try out some other characters that might work in the lag.

Don't drop Oli, though. Just do work towards finding a strategy that works in the lag. Use quick moves and stay away as much as you can from the opponent. And probably always let them approach. I don't play him, so you'll have to figure out what works by yourself.

Try Smashboards and watching videos. Might not work the way it does for them, so it's ultimately up to you.
