Pokémon: Scream Tail
OM of Origin: AAA
Stats: 115 / 65 / 99 / 65 / 115 / 111
Type:
Dark
Dark

Abilities: almost all of them
Sample Set:
Scream Tail @ Leftovers / Choice Scarf / Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
IVs: 0 Atk
Timid Nature
- Boomburst
- Psychic Noise / Stealth Rock / Calm Mind
- Wish
- Protect / Trick
Justification: fairy who doesnt care about wisp much from pult and probably sets rocks on donphan fine but otherwise has terrible spa which comparatively forces it to setup multiple times with cm to be very threatening

Stole Anaconja's sub, I think it was fine back then but is comparatively even better now in a metagame crawling with Darks and Fighting types and a meta that severely lacks clerics of any kind.

:ss/ninetales: (:torkoal:)
Pokémon: Ninetales
OM of Origin: Frantic Fusions
Stats: 73 / 97 / 110 / 102 / 117 / 105
Type:
Dark

Abilities: White Smoke / Drought / Shell Armor / Flash Fire
Sample Set:
Ninetales @ Heat Rock
Ability: Drought
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Tera Type: Grass
Timid Nature
- Flamethrower / Weather Ball
- Healing Wish
- Encore
- Will-O-Wisp

Ninetales @ Choice Specs
Ability: Drought
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
IVs: 0 Atk
Timid Nature
- Weather Ball
- Solar Beam
- Overheat
- Scorching Sands

Justification: Ninetales brings Sun and and the idea of a solid offensive Fire type, with solid speed and powerful STAB moves. It has alot of utility behind it as well, with Encore, Will-O-Wisp, Healing Wish and even Foul Play. Fire types are rare in this metagame, so a brand new strong Fire type like Ninetales would be a solid addition to the tier.

:ss/croagunk:
Pokémon: Croagunk
OM of Origin: 350 Cup
Stats: 86 / 122 / 80 / 122 / 80 / 100
Type:
Dark
Dark

Abilities: Anticipation / Dry Skin | HA: Poison Touch
Sample Set:
Croagunk @ Life Orb
Ability: Dry Skin
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Sludge Bomb
- Focus Blast
- Vacuum Wave / Shadow Ball

Croagunk @ Eviolite
Ability: Dry Skin
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Swords Dance
- Gunk Shot / Poison Jab
- Drain Punch
- Knock Off / Sucker Punch

Croagunk is a solid offensive wallbreaker that sits in a decent speed tier. 100 Speed is solid, and helps flesh out the 90 - 105 speed slot which have slim pickings. Eviolite makes Croagunk even better of a pivot outside of a Knock Off weakness. Even still, Croagunk is a solid offensive attacker.

:ss/iron-thorns:
Pokémon: Iron Thorns
OM of Origin: Nature Swap
Stats: 100 / 70 / 110 / 134 / 80 / 72 (Modest +SpA, -Atk)
Type:
Dark
Dark

Abilities: Quark Drive
Sample Set:
Iron Thorns @ Power Herb
Ability: Quark Drive
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Meteor Beam
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
- Volt Switch / Fire Blast / Stealth Rock

Justification: Iron Thorns has a very colourful special movepool, amd with Nature Swap Iron Thorns can take full advantage of it. Special Rock types are not very frequent, and with Meteor Beam it packs a sting even resists may struggle to handle it. Ice Beam nails practically every Ground we have and of course Thunderbolt does big damage as breaking potential.

I've kinda-not-really lurked this thread since I last submitted, half because I didn't have any ideas and half because I didn't have time. I have no idea what roles this meta has rn or doesn't have, so I'm just submitting whatever I feel.

We have few ice types still, and between one of the last slates being speed control and a couple of steel-types being added since, I figured I could resub this balance wise. There's no way it breaks this meta if we have speed control and steel types. It's probably going to be a HO lead since it has no setup, isn't a good choice user, and can only hit steel types with Drill Run, but I think it's fun, and hustle goes hard.

Original Description: Reaching a blistering 438 speed with either a SpA stat of 389 or a 319 hustle-boosted attack (478 btw), Delibird can serve as a high-risk high-reward breaker. On the physical side, its high-BP hustle-boosted ice attacks will be strong into a meta lacking an ice resist, provided it doesn't miss or run into Belibolt's Rocky Helmet. That's not an issue for special sets, which do trade some of the Hustle power for consistency. Freeze-dry notably shuts down Walking Wake, which is 4x weak to it. These stats look crazy on paper, but in practice, it's still a Delibird. Hustle Triple Axel might be hard to switch into, but that is dependent it landing each hit. Its special ice moves might also be difficult to switch into, but if it launches attacks into something it can't KO with STAB moves like Cresselia, it doesn't have any other options. Between that, its rather nice support movepool containing no setup moves, and its typing forcing it into boots, I think that this mon is exploitable enough to be strong, but not too crazy for this meta. Oh, and it's a fine suicide lead if needed.

:Sv/goodra:
Pokémon: Goodra
OM of Origin: Alphabet Cup
Stats: 90 / 100 / 70 / 110 / 150 / 80 (600 BST)
Type:
Dragon

Abilities: Sap Sipper / Hydration / Gooey
Additional moves: Almost anything beginning with 'G' or 'S'
Sample Sets:
Goodra
Ability: Sap Sipper
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Shore Up
- Spikes
- Toxic
- Dragon Pulse

Goodra @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Sap Sipper
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Steam Eruption
- Strength Sap
- Knock Off
- Sacred Fire

Goodra @ Choice Specs
Ability: Sap Sipper
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Switcheroo
- Sandsear Storm
- Strange Steam

Alphabet Cup is one of the metas without any mons in yet, and I wanted to submit a couple from it (but flaked). Goodra has almost always been the worse pseudo-legend, since it isn't that good of a wall despite its immense SpD stat. Its movepool is probably its best attribute, so why not make it even better? With Alphabet Cup, Goodra is able to get Recovery via Synthesis, Strength Sap, or Shore Up. Other notable movepool additions include Spikes, Stealth Rock, Glaive Rush, Sacred Fire, Steam Eruption, Stone Axe, and Grav Apple if you want. Unfortunately, Shed Tail, Salt Cure, and Glare are banned, so although this mon can definitely chip you to death, its not clicking the fast-forward button on your demise. This Goodra should be able to perform any role on a team, between its versatile stat spread and newfangled movepool. And I chose this Goodra because I didn't want to submit another steel.

:sv/REGIROCK:
Pokémon: REGIROCK
OM of Origin: Inheritance (From Garganacl)
Stats: 80 / 100 / 200 / 50 / 100 / 50 (580 BST)
Type:
Rock

Abilities: Purifying Salt, Sturdy, Clear Body
Additional moves: Exactly Garganacl's Movepool
Sample Sets:
Regirock @ Leftovers
Ability: Purifying Salt
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Recover
- Stealth Rock/Iron Defense
- Salt Cure
- Body Press

I think this meta needs more Regis, and there's no better way to add the rock type one than by inheriting from OU's most viable defensive rock type. It is legally allowed to learn salt cure unlike the Goodra above. Salt Cure + Recover is the biggest difference between Garganacl and Regirock's movepools (other than ice coverage on Garg for some reason), so the new additions and busted ability should make Regirock a capable and viable wall in this meta.

:SV/Spiritomb:
Pokémon: Spiritomb
OM of Origin: Mix and Mega
Stats: 50 / 92 / 108 / 92 / 108 / 35 (485 BST) -> 50 / 112 / 138 / 132 / 138 / 15 (585 BST)
Type:
Ghost
Dark

Abilities: Pressure, Infiltrator (Mega: Sheer Force)
Additional moves: n/a
Sample Sets:
Spiritomb @ Cameruptite
Ability: Pressure
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpA / 8 SpD
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe
- Nasty Plot
- Trick Room
- Dark Pulse
- Psyshock/Psychic

If you couldn't tell by the Regirock and Delibird, I'm a low tier main, and OTR Spiritomb is one of the best mons in ZU right now. It does need a little help in the stats and ability department if it wants to be good in higher tiers, which is where Cameruptite comes in. By increasing its Special Attack, defenses, and giving it the excellent ability Sheer Force, Spiritomb now has a chance to compete with better mons. I'm guessing that this meta lacks an OTR mon, so Spiritomb is able to fill a new niche. In general, Tomb's typing can be used to switch in on a fighting type attack, and because of its bulk at this point, it's free to reach +2 with Trick Room up. I considered Sablenite to reach Toxapex bulk, but I figured Tomb needed the power.

:sv/Glastrier:
Pokémon: Glastrier
OM of Origin: Nature Swap
Stats: 100 / 145 / 130 / 65 / 30 / 110 (580 BST; SpD and Speed swapped via Naive nature)
Type:
Ice

Abilities: Chilling Neigh
Additional moves: None
Sample Sets:
Glastrier @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Chilling Neigh
Tera Type: Ice
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Swords Dance
- Icicle Crash
- Close Combat
- High Horsepower

Glastrier @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Chilling Neigh
Tera Type: Ice
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Zen Headbutt
- Icicle Crash
- Close Combat
- High Horsepower

Glastrier @ Leftovers
Ability: Chilling Neigh
Tera Type: Ice
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Substitute
- Close Combat
- Trailblaze
- Icicle Crash

My original nature swap sub in this slot, Regice, had 200 speed and not that much going for it besides BoltBeam and Focus Miss, but if you take out the word 'Regice' from that sentence you have a really busted mon huh. I asked G-Luke if Glastrier would be instant vetoed, and he said -SpD was fine, so I'm submitting it. Glastrier is usually only brought up when you remember that Calyrex has another horse, but giving it a speed stat of 110 helps it pull ahead. Ice is a wonderful offensive typing, and Glastrier has good coverage in Close Combat, High Horsepower, Throat Chop, Zen Headbutt, and Heavy Slam to hit ice resists and Thick Fat Venu. When compared to this meta's other physical ice in Mamoswine, Glastrier is more of a glass cannon sweeper than the utility-focused Mamoswine. Glastrier might look a one-trick pony, but between trailblaze, sub, sd, and a good enough speed tier to run scarf, it carries just enough variety in its package to not be entirely predictable. It's held back by the fact that it's an ice type with 30 SpD and the 110 speed stat of a Lati, which is good but not insurmountable.

That was fun. My backup plans are more Regis (Protean Palace Regigigas) and a Palossand fusion to give that thing more stats, but we'll see if I need them. Steal if you want. They aren't good ideas but I'd love to see more Regi action regardless.

Veto Time. Ill also comment on stuff that I think suck but are obviously balanced and fine, since its the last slate and Smash Mods are notorious for letting in stinkers in the last slate.

:ss/cetoddle:
Pokémon: Cetoddle
OM of Origin: 350 Cup
Stats: 216/136/80/60/80/86
Type: Ice
Abilities: Thick Fat / Snow Cloak / Sheer Force
Additional moves: N/A
Sample Sets:
Cetoddle @ Choice Scarf / Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
Tera Type: Ice
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Icicle Crash
- Play Rough
- Liquidation
- High Horsepower / Superpower / Knock Off

Cetoddle @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Thick Fat / Sheer Force
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Belly Drum
- Ice Shard
- High Horsepower / Icicle Crash
- Liquidation

Justification: While not having Slush Rush like its evolved form (which would have been amazing when paired with Chilly Reception Yanma/Glowking) this tepid toddler still has the moves and the stats to be a solid offensive threat with Sheer Force, or tank hits to hit hard with Belly Drum sets.

Cetoddle is way too bulky for an offensive Pokémon of its calibre of speed and power imo. It comfortably trades with everything in the tier. Sheer Force makes it hit very hard, its already decent speed wise as well. Its just way too good, we will have to veto.

:sv/vespiquen::sablenite:
Pokémon: Vespiquen @ Sablenite

Ability: Pressure
Tera Type: Bug
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Hurricane
- Spikes
- Roost
- U-turn
Justification: crazy defensive pivot that dumpsters clod/registeel unless they tech something like rock moves. of course its mega weak to sr itself as well as other types and is fairly passive.
checks: :donphan::arboliva::clodsire::ting-lu::registeel::garchomp::ogerpon::cutiefly::slither-wing::sceptile-mega::zarude::quaquaval:
checked by: :numel::moltres-galar::zapdos::bellibolt::magmar::tyranitar::revavroom::enamorus-therian::terrakion::misdreavus::latias:
Not gonna lie, outside of checking the most passive Pokémon in the tier in Registeel and Clodsire (not all that notable tbh), I am unsure of what this thing realistically does in SSOMs. It is pretty passive, hates Rocks after we just added a Mold Breaker SR setter, and most things it checks by typing have means to work around it. I am personally not convinced, but if you can lobby a compelling argument for the guy I am all ears.

:sv/porygon2:(:sv/skeledirge:)
Pokémon: Porygon2
OM of Origin: Cross Evolution
Stats: 108 / 100 / 112 / 125 / 112 / 77
Type:

Ghost.png

Abilities: Blaze (Unaware)
Aditional moves: Skeledirge's moveppol
Sample Set:
Porygon2 @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Tri Attack
- Shadow Ball
- Will-O-Wisp / Torch Song
- Recover

A physical Unaware mon that complements Clodsire for fat teams, it can also find use in balance teams thanks to Torch Song plus a nearly-unresisted STAB combination discouraging its take as setup fodder.

I think this might be too bulky to be honest. 108/112/112 + Unaware with a typing it can't exploit seems a bit scary to handle. I think a different base for Skeledirge is key here. Anyway til then we will be vetoing it.

:sm/metagross-mega:
Pokemon: Metagross
OM of origin: M&M
Stats: 80 / 145 / 150 / 105 / 110 / 110

Abilites: Tough Claws
Additional moves: N/A
Sample set:
Metagross @ Metagrossite
Ability: Tough Claws
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Heavy Slam
- Psychic Fangs
- Earthquake / Thunder Punch
- Knock Off / Bullet Punch
Justification: Mega Meta is something that is quite amusing , well anyway either way metagross is something that gives us a physical steel and psychic type attacker and with actual moves to use instead of having all our steels be defensive mons. With a physical steel/psychic and good bulk it can really find ways on offense to revenge kill stuff like enamorus-t, terrakion, azelf, hawlucha, ogerpon, belly drum azu, etc. The tier definitely has answers to it such as TS slowbro, registeel, cresselia, zapdos, donphan, trevenant and can appreciate the speed control from bullet punch and the hazard support on a non ground type

checks :iron valiant::terrakion::iron bundle::mamoswine::tyranitar::ogerpon::slither wing::yanma:
checked by :rotom-mow::slowbro::greninja::magmar::cresselia::tauros-paldea-blaze::donphan::dragapult:

Metagross is nuts man, I don't know why we are being delusional here. Out of all of the checks listed Metagross cheeses past everything sans Slowbro thanks to oodles of coverage. Sorry, but Mega Metagross is banned in a metagame that is overall stronger than what SSOMs currently is, so this still will be vetoed.

:sv/excadrill:
Pokémon: Excadrill
OM of Origin: Alphabet Cup
Stats: 110/135/60/50/65/88

Sample Sets:
Excadrill @ Leftovers / Air Balloon
Ability: Mold Breaker / Sand Rush
EVs: 156 HP / 252 SpD / 100 Spe
Jolly Nature

- Rapid Spin / Defog
- Iron Head / Diamond Storm / Dragon Ascent
- Stealth Rock

Excadrill @ Air Balloon / Leftovers
Ability: Mold Breaker / Sand Rush
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Tera Type: Rock
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance / Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
- Rapid Spin / Diamond Storm/ Dragon Ascent

Justification: Excadrill is a sand abuser for Tyranitar as well as a solid sweeper, gaining access to some nice additions, such as Defog for removing on Ghost-types, Diamond Storm for better Rock coverage, DD as an alternative to SD, and strong coverage moves of more unique types such as Darkest Lariat, Dragon Ascent, Dragon Darts, Drain Punch, & Drum Beating.

EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA
Quiet Nature
- Calm Mind

- Stored Power / Synthesis

Justification: Comfey with 100 SpA that uses it to sweep with boosted priority and never dying.

Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 248 HP / 248 Def / 12 Spe

Justification: Moltres gets STAB U-Turn but explodes if it touches Rocks.

:sv/metagross:
Pokémon: Metagross
OM of Origin: Alphabet Cup
Stats: 80/135/130/95/90/70
Type: Steel/Psychic
Abilities: Clear Body // Light Metal
Additional Moves: Baby-Doll Eyes, Baneful Bunker, Barb Barrage, Beak Blast, Beat Up, Behemoth Bash, Behemoth Blade, Belch, Bind, Bite, Bitter Blade, Bitter Malice, Blast Burn, Blaze Kick, Blazing Torque, Beakwind Storm, Blizzard, Block, Blood Moon, Blue Flare, Bolt Strike, Bone Rush, Boomburst, Bounce, Branch Poke, Brave Bird, Breaking Swipe, Brine, Brutal Swing, Bubble Beam, Bug Bite, Bug Buzz, Bulk Up, Bullet Seed, Burning Bulwark, Burning Jealousy, Burn Up, Mach Punch, Magical Leaf, Magical Torque, Magic Powder, Magic Room, Magma Storm, Magnetic Flux, Make It Rain, Malignant Chain, Matcha Gotcha, Mean Look, Mega Drain, Megahorn, Mega Kick, Mega Punch, Memento, Metal Burst, Metal Sound, Metronome, Mighty Cleave, Milk Drink, Mimic, Minimize, Mirror Coat, Mist, Mist Ball, Misty Explosion, Misty Terrain, Moonblast, Moongeist Beam, Moonlight, Morning Sun, Mortal Spin, Mountain Gale, Muddy Water, Mud Shot, Mystical Fire, Mystical Power
Sample Sets:
Metagross @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 160 Atk / 96 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Behemoth Blade / Behemoth Bash
- Psychic Fangs
- Knock Off / Earthquake / Mortal Spin
- Stealth Rock / Bullet Punch

Metagross @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Def / 4 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Behemoth Blade / Behemoth Bash
- Psychic Fangs / Bolt Strike / Brave Bird / Bitter Blade
- Bulk Up
- Milk Drink

Justification: Metagross but it has really powerful Steel STAB, Bulk Up, Recovery, and extremely powerful coverage.

:excadrill: Personally i don't think Excadrill gets much benefit from Alphabet Cup at all. I would suggest using a different metagame to base Excadrill on. In practice it really is just Excadrill from standard eith obscure coverage moves it probably won't use. And also Dragon Dance, but idk how great that is either.

:comfey: I am unsure of our glorious king Comfey in a metagame so overrun by Steels and to a lesser extent Poison types. Without Tera you basically are at the mercy of all steels.

:moltres: I don't know, this is kind of worse Moltres? I am sure there is a better typing to add to Bug, and you didn't mention any actual positives, so I am struggling to see why this is particularly good. Far as I see, this is Moltres that loses to the other Fire types.

:metagross: Metagross is actually pretty cool, and is a very solid sub, my favourite this round actually. Problem is, you can't submit from the same mod multiple times. So until that is rectified by whatever method you choose, we probably will have to veto this.

:sv/regice:
Pokémon: Regice
OM of Origin: Nature Swap
Stats: 80 / 50 / 100 / 100 / 50 / 200 (580 BST; SpD and Speed swapped)
Type:

Abilities: Clear Body / Ice Body
Additional moves: None
Sample Sets:
Regice @ Choice Specs / Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Clear Body
Tera Type: Ice
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunder Wave / Charge Beam
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt
- Focus Blast

Delibird was not enough for me. Regice reaches 499/548 speed at 252/252+ respectively. Charge beam is a fun move that lets you get to +1 on a switch or something. 100 SpA isn't that good. I really don't have any other reason for this; I just thought it'd be funny, a cool use of Nature Swap, and less OP than a Glastrier with 394 speed.

That was fun. My backup plans are more Regis (Protean Palace Regigigas) and a Palossand fusion to give that thing more stats, but we'll see if I need them. Steal if you want.

Main issue is that it is just too fast. Our current cap for Speed is Ting-Lu with 155 Speed, and I don't think it is fair to upend that with the very last slate, with no chance to answer that. In that case unfortunately we have to veto.

Don't mind if I do then, more to come if I'm inspired!

I like Lucario, and this is a strong priority clicker.

Utterly broken. If you click Swords Dance you just win, 150 Atk Close Combat + -ate Speed is currently unwallable defensively sans Venusaur-Mega and basically unanswerable offensively sans like, Mega Revavroom. Sorry mateo, this is gonna have to be vetoed.

Considering the timing + amount of subs, giving everyone a 60 hour window to rework / remove / add submissions here. Of course this does mean that anyone is still open to making submissions, just be aware you don't get veto warnings.

Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 244 HP / 220 Atk / 44 Spe
Adamant Nature

- Morning Sun
- Will-O-Wisp / Double-Edge / Curse / Howl

Arcanine fills the unique role of dedicated speed control in the current meta without requiring either a Choice Scarf user or Ting-Lu, while also checking the latter. Most notably, Arcanine has access to Pixilate Extreme Speed, separating it from Blaze Tauros. Double-Edge, if ran, is also incredibly difficult to switch into, requiring a resist or great bulk to be properly answered. However, Arcanine suffers from poor coverage and setup options alongside a crippling unremovable Stealth Rock weakness, limiting its output significantly. Arcanine's lack of speed also means it is incredibly reliant on Extreme Speed to outspeed foes, making it very prediction reliant. Arcanine also loves to take advantage of Intimidate, something it loses after Mega Evolution, meaning players have to keep in mind when it is best to Mega Evolve.

Skeledirge is a behemoth of a utility Pokemon, providing entry hazards, burn spreading, hazard control via Court Change, spinblocking, and more. The only two things Skeledirge can't do are Terastallize out of its bad matchups and file your taxes. Further elaboration would be pointless because ABC Skeledirge is that good at what it does. Just don't let it get knocked off.

Iron Hands is a potent Rapid Spin user thanks to RegenVest and Knock Off pressuring the few Ghost-types in the tier. Shift Gear and its already sky-high Attack mean that Iron Hands has a lot of potential offensively, although the speed tier leaves a lot to be desired. Ground-types are also quite awkward to punish thanks to the overreliance of Supercell Slam for damage, especially since Ice Spinner means that Donphan can regularly switch in relatively unpunished.

Sylveon!Vullaby (from now on just Vullaby) shines as a Defogger and cleric thanks to a great 110 HP stat, good typing, and slew of utility moves like Toxic, Knock Off, and Whirlwind. Pixilate Hyper Voice off of a respectable 110 Special Attack means that Vullaby does good consistent damage, with either Calm Mind to supplement damage, Knock Off and Toxic to force progress, or Defog to remove hazards. U-turn access means Vullaby can keep pressure up versus hard counters like Magmar and Registeel. It is also the best counter to Ting-Lu in the meta, allowing for frailer teammates to perform better.

PQRDG's Sandshrew-Alola is vetoed, unfortunately with the potential to set Snow with Yanma + Shrew's extremely potent statline makes it too much of a potential threat.

Otherwise, voting is now open! Vote for your eight favorite submissions, order does not matter. You have up to 2 self votes allowed. Voting is open for 48 hours, the top 5 highest votes (and any ties) will be added to the Hall of Fame. Have fun and good luck!

Justification: Gives us a pretty fat ice type, with good bulk into stuff like greninja, sceptile-m, rotom-m, iron bundle, walking wake, moltres-galar, arbovalia and with strong moves it can be a pretty powerful mon. Vessel of ruin makes it so that it is much bulkier than it is and can take a lot of stuff. With 159 attack it is also pretty nuclear even chunking stuff like

252 SpA Life Orb Adaptability Greninja Hydro Pump vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Vessel of Ruin Crabominable: 224-265 (56.2 - 66.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Justification: Swampert-M in Formemons is an interesting pokemon, without rain to back it up is a solid tank, attacker, and a physical water type that is just a solid attacker with good bulk and utility to bring to the table. With stuff like knock off, stealth rocks, and setup like bulk up it can definitely shine. It can also use a defensive set to really use its utility to its advantage and compared to other waters its a solid tank while dishing out good damage. Choice Scarf can even see use on teams to really allow you on offense to revenge kill pokemon such as greninja, tauros, terrakion,or it can use a choice band set to smack the crap out of fat and slow teams.

Stole Anaconja's sub, I think it was fine back then but is comparatively even better now in a metagame crawling with Darks and Fighting types and a meta that severely lacks clerics of any kind.

I think this meta is quite interesting, we have a lot of stuff but smth like tauros-blaze def looks scary, was scary back then when it came in but now it feels like someone that would smack the crap out of most stuff... its one of our fastest mons and with flare blitz and close combat everything is almost smacked and the few stuff that can take it like slowbro (who is quite passive but its a good answer), Latias (doesnt wanna spam recover), Fluffy quaq (flare blitz does a lot still) and thick fat donphan can take a few hits, and t wave flipped pult. I want to also mention TS azelf, it is able to setup with NP and run over stuff with psychic, flame, and coverage like energy ball pretty much nuking everything in sight

Flipped bundle, WW, valiant, pult, bellibolt, Venu M, magmar, registeel, cress, clodsire, zapdos, moltres-g, skunk, donphan are some of our walls. I think registeel feels passive out of these ones, compared to the other ones it feels meh, walking wake is odd but its workable. I think our defense is quite good. We also have quite a good amount of bulky breakers such as enam-t, rotom-c, zarude, garchomp, donphan, cramorant, trev are quite good and you can likely fit them in a team. I feel the tier wont be run over by offense and u will be able to retaliate to the stuff in the tier

We have a good amount of diversity in popular types esp with the new mons such as m pert, m alt in addition to the many old ones where we have a variety of removal with cram, donphan, porygon2, misdreavus, quaquval, mega alt and we have great rockers in donphan, clodsire, swampert-mega, tyranitar, registeel, mamoswine, tyranitar, garchomp, tinkaton, and terrakion.

I think there are some weak mons in arboliva but it still looks like boomburst + seed flare can chunk fat quite well especially with strength sap but without tera its typing can likely feel very meh and with grassy terrain you can potentially take advantage of grassy seed, cutiefly sounds solely like a HO lead which sounds like a good niche, i think its to odd to use on more balance teams so as a HO lead i think its good. Hawlucha + Ogerpon sounds ok esp with zapdos being neutral to fighting so curious how it all works out, but with AAA cress, latias, bellibolt, misdreavus, dragapult, slowbro and others it might be trouble especially since it has to all in basically and it feels like it might not go so well.

I think yanma and munkidori might eat each others usage and smth like numel might struggle to see use cuz stacking ground types might not be fun, but it can run eviolite so who knows

The latest winners in mega alt gives us some powerful removal and is likely a great phys def wall esp with boots or helmet to screw with physical attackers. M&M Spiritomb gives offensive trick room possibilities, although its ability to damage mons like tinkaton, enamorus, registeel, tyranitar, skunktank, moltres-galar is severely limited. Although it can maybe run a defensive roll with maybe toxic/WoW, foul play, pain split, and a last
