Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
anyone who votes for slow bulky ice types is a fool, and I say that as the creator of fucking Glasnow. I hate to tell you this but part of the reason I made Glasnow was because I thought having a mega with 170 attack and 15 speed would be funny.
i cant believe that certain people dislike glasnow smh... no respect...
also i guess im the biggest fool then, since i voted for ALL the slow ices. (ah nvm im wrong lol!!)
Pincurchin (Micro Meta Mafia), Boltund (ViAbilities), Electangle (Restrictions)
Cofagrigus (ViAbilities), Spectrier (Ubermons), Duosion (Random Pool 0)
- Close Combat, Earthquake, Knock Off, Megahorn, Rapid Spin, Stone Edge
- no.
- Stealth Rock, Sticky Web, Substitute, Swords Dance Movepool = Pinsir's Movepool + Megahorn, Rapid Spin, Sticky Web
Contact moves trap their targets for 3 turns.
Cool Bug Fact: You have now lost switching privileges. As a lead, trapping spin lets it come out on top vs most other leads, and as an offensive mon, it's a great wallbreaker thanks to its high offensive stats combined with SD, great coverage, and Hyper Cutter preventing it from being doubled around. Thankfully, it's got one of the worst typings in the game to keep it balanced.
Pokemon: Muk Mod of Origin: Two Step 'Mons Stats: 120 / 120 / 85 / 50 / 105 / 70 [BST: 550] Typing:
| - acc | 16pp
Sets Gravity and boosts the user's Atk by 1 stage. Priority: 0 | Bypasses Protect | Targets all Pokemon (?)
Fat regen mon that has great defensive stats but lacks recovery and utility in general, leaving it to spam attacks. Think AV Slowking-G without Future Sight. Speaking of, AV seems like the go-to set on this thing, though it does lose pretty handily to mons like Machamp-India, Sandaconda, Slowclone, and anything that can set up on it.
- Moonlight, Stealth Rock, Swords Dance, Teleport, Thunder Wave Movepool = Dubwool’s Movepool + Teleport, Stealth Rock, Moonlight, Sheepious Rend*, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Knock Off
|
| 85 bp | 100 acc | 16pp
Power doubles if user moves before the target. Priority: 0 | Contact | Bite | Targets one adjacent mon
A funny bulky attacker that uses the bizarre combo of Cotton Down and Sheepious Rend to put out some big damage. It also has some great utility, with Knock, SR, and Teleport in the back, though you kinda have to pick and choose because you really want Moonlight too. Seems like a versatile mon with a cool gimmick.
Fuzzeon has poor STAB and typing in general, absolutely asine coverage even with Tinted Lens and poor physical bulk and Speed. So why is it worth submitting here? Tinted Lens + Tail Glow + 130 Special Attack. After a Tail Glow, Fuzzeon absolutely nukes the meta with little opposition to it's attacks. Fuzzeon offers itself a good offensive check to Salaos, and even more importantly a Shaymin switchin (we lacking those), but is held back by its terrible 65 spees tier and its reliance on Boots. Still Fuzz is great.
Pokémon: Harelock Mod of Origin: Mega Revolution Stats: 90 HP / 120 Atk / 55 Def / 54 SpA / 96 SpD / 110 Spe (BST 525) Typing:
Serves the role of a fast utility mon with decent bulk. Knock Off, U-tur and Switcheroo are nice but Its only STAB options being Double Edge sucks major rocks though.
Name: Clavelye (Clavel [Spanish name of the carnation flower] + Lye) Mod of Origin: Stereotypes Stats: 108/80/95/120/85/60 (548) Type:
- Energy Ball, Surf, Shadow Ball, Sludge Wave, Sludge Bomb, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Clear Smog
- Recover, Toxic, Aromatherapy, Acid Armor, Stockpile, Defog, Haze, Curse
Flavor Moves: Water Pulse, Explosion, Universal TMS, Purify, Bubble, Bubble Beam, More to be added later Weight: 58.1kg Description: A poison type made to fill some needs on the meta with a fighting resisting knock off absorber with reliable recovery as well as another hazards clearer, its themed after detergent and is a poison type that focus on cleaning instead of dirtying up stuff. (Copied from El Cavader)
Pokémon: Magroach Mod of Origin: Stereotypes Stats: 90/110/85/85/110/90 Type: Bug Abilities: Magic Guard/Illuminate/(Rattled) Notable Moves: Curse, Double-Edge, First Impression, Knock Off, Roost, Toxic, U-Turn Description: Magic Guard U-Turn is very difficult to punish and makes Magroach a great pivot, both offensive and defensive. Good special bulk alongside Roost, Knock Off and Toxic makes Magroach a great answer to some special attackers as it can cripple opposing mons and doesn't have to fear chip. On the other hand, offensive sets can run Life Orb freely and get to chip some things pretty heavily with U-Turn/Revenge-kill with First Impression. There were also theories of a Curse set possibly working? Idk
Custom Elements:
Toxicroak- User's contact moves have a 30% chance to Badly Poison the opponent.
Tough Beacons- User's special moves bypass protection moves.
Horsey- Normal, Status, 100% Acc, 32 Max PP, Transforms the opponent into a random horse.
None of my Clank- Normal, Special, 80 BP, 100% Acc, 16 Max PP, removes the Steel type from the target, if applicable. Description: Horsey. Ferrelcure is a Quiver Dancer with a solid movepool but lackluster stats besides its SpA. Its STAB allows it to remove the Steel type from Melmetal, allowing for future hits to be neutral on it, and removing STAB on Double Iron Bash. Horsey is a gimmick move. I'm not entirely sure how it works, but it could be used to surprise the opponent.
Pokemon: Garbodor & Mega Mod of Origin: Megamax Stats: 80/95/82/60/82/75 (BST: 474) Mega Stats: 80/105/137/60/137/55 (BST: 574) Type (both):
Abilities: Stench / Weak Armor / Aftermath Mega Ability: Neutralizing Gas Movepool: +Stealth Rock, Earthquake, Iron Defense Description: In Melee we had a mega garbodor, why not continue the trend? Base Garbodor will be pretty bad, but if used as a lead for hazard stacking teams, it can set up 3 different types of hazards (rocks, spikes, tspikes). Garbodor-Mega is very bulky, especially with Neutralizing Gas removing abilities such as Machamp-India's Sheer Force & Mytheon's Tough Claws. Its weakness is its lack of recovery, as it cannot run Black Sludge, and it only has Pain Split and Rest.
Abilities: Teravolt | Corrosion | Light Metal (HA) Notable Moves: Baneful Bunker, Toxic, Spiky Shield, Aromatherapy, Core Enforcer, Sludge Bomb, Flamethrower, Earth Power, Hex Description: has alot of potential, beeing very bulky, and tanking alot of physical AND special hits. its also good offensively on the special side, also has somewhat decent utility, with Aromatherapy. yes, it can Toxic all mons in the tier, including itself, but there are some mons with Heal Bell in the meta, like Cummulus or Kokovoir. and uh, shaymin has aromatherapy ig.
Trash Compactor - This Pokémon is immune to hazards. If it lands on a hazard, the hazard is removed and this Pokémon Stockpiles 1
Description: I did like a certain other Mega Garbodor a bit more for this, but this one is pretty cool too. With Trash Compactor and access to every hazard except Sticky Web, Garbodor can easily control the hazards game from the moment it Mega Evolves, guaranteeing that it'll make a big impact in any given game. Plus, it comes with more utility in Knock, Toxic, and Haze, too. It's also probably the only Pokemon in any metagame ever that can even consider viably running Swallow, which is pretty funny. However, it's extremely passive and it lacks reliable recovery, so it'll lose damage races. Beats: Machamp-Mega, Kokovoir, Shaymin Can't switch into but Beats after: Heatmor(?) Loses to: Machamp-India, Melmetal, Spectrier(?)
Pokémon: Delcatty Mod of Origin: PKMN YB v2 Stats: 90/65/65/55/55/90 Type:
Normalize - Makes all of the user's moves Normal-type and doubles their power
Chill Out - 80 BP, 100% Accuracy, Special Ice-type move, Resets the user's lowered stats and summons Mist for 5 turns
Disarming Voice - +1 priority
Eclipse - 90 BP, 100% Accuracy, Special Dark-type move, Clears weather conditions
Heartbeat - Fairy Bullet Seed clone, Sound move
Moonblast - 90 BP
Natural Gift - Doesn't consume the user's berry
Play Rough - 100 BP
Skitter Smack - 90 BP, 100% Accuracy, 30% chance to lower the opponent's SpA
Wild Charge - 100 BP
Description: Might replace this with something else later, but while I don't want to sub from my own solomod too often, I have to put this one out there, at least temporarily. With the super buffed Normalize, Delcatty is a hilarious wallbreaker, smashing through stuff with 360 BP Double-Edges, revenge killing with 120 BP Fake Outs, or setting up Calm Minds and launching 270 BP Ice Beams. It's hilarious fun, but it obviously has flaws. First, its offenses are 65/55, so even with nuclear powered moves, its much weaker than you'd think, getting outdamaged by stuff like Dracovish. Also, while it did get +20 HP, it's still really frail and only has 90 Speed, so it can get outsped and KOed quite easily. Plus, since all of its moves are Normal-type, any Ghost, Steel, or Rock type we add will laugh in its face, and even if you tech Natural Gift since Delcatty has 65 Attack and loses the ability to run a boosting item. Still though, this thing will be the most fun you'll have in awhile
(Matchups assume the physical set) Beats: Pincurchin, Salaos Can't switch into but Beats after: Heatmor, Machamp-India Loses to: Machamp-Mega, Melmetal, Mytheon, Spectrier (lol), Silvally, Slowcone(?)
Pokémon: Accelgor Mod of Origin: ViAbilities Stats: 80/70/40/100/60/145 Type:
Shell Armor - If this Pokémon doesn't have a status, all incoming attacks target its Defense stat
Description: I was hoping to only have one meme sub, but pure Bug is an exceptionally rare typing and the only other half-decent option was SylveMons Kricketune, which is a funny but extremely dumb mon, so here this. It's Accelgor, who's a super cool Pokemon that can potentially succeed in a lower power level metagame such as this one, being the fast mon around, having Sticky Hold Heavy-Duty Boots, Unburden with two Surge mons already in the meta, and utility in Spikes, Knock Off, Encore, and Toxic Spikes. It has all the flaws that Accelgor previously had and the thing it got from ViAbilities actively hurts both it and its prevo (since Shelmet loses out on being an uncritable Curse user), but, hey, you take what you can get. Beats: Shaymin Can't switch into but Beats after: Machamp-India, Salaos(?), Slowcone Loses to: Silvally, Cummulus, Pincurchin, Machamp-Mega
Pokemon: Zeroth Cattle
MoO: Randommons
Type: Normal
Abilities: Sniper / Flame Body (H: Prism Armor)
Stats: 112 / 41 / 116 / 5 / 95 / 65 (BST: 434)
Movepool: Circle Throw, Double-Edge, Heat Crash, Ice Beam, Moonlight, Nasty Plot, Nuzzle, Pain Split, Poison Jab, Razor Shell, Rest, Secret Sword, Seismic Toss, Sludge Wave, Swords Dance, Synthesis, Tail Slap, Thunder, Blast Burn, Dream Eater, Echoed Voice, Endure, Fly, Force Palm, Growth, Icy Wind, Land's Wrath, Magnet Bomb, Meteor Beam, Mimic, Nature Power, Payback, Pay Day, Pollen Puff, Power Split, Rock Wrecker, Smelling Salts, Spike Cannon, Tearful Look, Vine Whip
Description: What is this thing... Randommons are either hot garbage or broken. This is annoying but can still be hit specially. This thing is dumb...
If this isn't allowed, please tell me.
edit: found out z-moves and max moves are banned so they are removed.
Pokémon: Likely Impala Mod of Origin: Randommons Stats: 128 / 72 / 84 / 79 / 110 / 55 Type: Bug Abilities: Poison Point / Gluttony / Technician Notable Moves: uhhh i have no clue so i'm just gonna list the full movepool
Pokémon: Silvino Mod of Origin: Fusion Evolution UU Stats: 115 / 85 / 90 / 95 / 90 / 75 Type: Normal (initially) Abilities: Null System (User can be any type without the need of a Drive, type selected in Teambuilder.) Notable Moves: Dazzling Gleam, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Ice Beam, Calm Mind, Defog, Heal Bell, Healing Wish, Wish Description: (I stole your submission ViZar >:)) Silvino isn't very viable in its home mod, but it might not fit here. First off, it has great support options. Wish, Healing Wish, Defog and Heal Bell are amazing and it has really good bulk, but a combination of Wish being its only recovery and its lack of a usable ability in singles (for both base and mega) really screws it over.
Pokémon: Silvino Mod of Origin: Fusion Evolution UU Stats: 115 / 80 / 130 / 115 / 130 / 75 Type: Normal/Fairy (normal type changes depending on which silvino form you choose) Abilities: Healer Description: We are not talking about this. Nope. Nada.
A great wallbreaker, Exploud-Meow's purpose is to get a Nasty Plot off and then break through with Boomburst + amazing coverage. Very hard to stop if you can't revenge kill. Fortunately, there's no Sticky Web (yet, I know it's the Bug slate), so although it'll be impossible to switch into, it'll also be susceptible to being revenge killed since it has a middling speed tier.
Sunny Lark @ Leftovers
Ability: Shadow Shield
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Quiver Dance
- Sparkling Aria
- Hidden Power [Flying]
- Slack Off
Sunny Lark @ Leftovers
Ability: Shadow Shield
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def
Adamant Nature
- Shift Gear
- Extreme Speed
- Sacred Fire
- Cross Chop
Although I like G-Luke's sub better, this mon can go either Special or Physical and has the nasty combination of Shadow Shield and Stakeout, meaning attacking it right off the bat is necessary so you don't activate Stakeout and get swept after a QD. It can Shadow Shield + Slack Off after a Quiver Dance if your Special attacks aren't doing much, meaning it can activate a Loop of Despair, QDing even more until it's ready to sweep with Water + Flying coverage (which admittedly sucks, considering its best move is 90 BP). The Physical set can surprise Melmetal switchins with Shift Gear + Sacred Fire, and gets +2 Prio with Extremespeed. Probably not as potent as Bugeon, but I wanted some mod representation here.
Oh hey I actually remembered to do a sub review this time.
G-Luke: Fuzzeon (Regional Evolutions)
Seems like a funny breaker, it's slow for the mod but that's a good thing considering its insane offensive presence. Stun Spore on a mon like this is kinda disgusting tho ngl.
Mossy Sandwich: Magroach (Stereotypes)
It's pretty obvious what this mon does, it's basically a faster non-Dark version of Unown-M from melee that trades Spin for Roost. Seems a bit obnoxious but in a healthy way.
Squawkerz: Ferrelcure (GPT2Mons)
A setup sweeper with QD with high SpA and relatively low Speed, with None of my Clank making its STAB pretty hard to switch into and some decent coverage in the back. I like it.
Garbodor (Megamax)
This thing's not that great in Megamax but considering we have things like Mytheon and Machamp (Mega) and Shaymin that are p ability reliant, it looks really cool here.
Regic Boat: Scorpita (Roulettemons)
Better Salazzle looks p cool, should be a super funny stallbreaker and general nuisance to the tier.
Putango (Pupumons)
This is a really cool wallbreaker thanks to Guts + STAB + Recover, tho its stats are a bit underwhelming for this power level, would be dope in UU or RU.
Ten Million Fireflies (Crossover Chaos EX)
Bug-Type Blissey moment. Just goes Roost + TWave + U-Turn + damaging move, idt it can ever be BAD bad but it's just kinda there.
Yoshiblaze: Garbodor (Megas for All V7)
Exists in Melee and is kinda bad over there, but is otherwise a cool mon. Balanced Housekeeping good.
Delcatty (PKMN YB V2)
This is definitely the funniest mon subbed this slate. I don't know how good it is but the ridiculous power on Normal moves with Natural Gift as its only coverage seems insane to play around with.
Accelgor (ViAbilities)
Shell Armor bad so this is basically vanilla Accelgor, but vanilla Accelgor's funny, albeit way to weak for the mod imo.
PalpitoadChamp: Zeroth Cattle (Randommons)
This mon's super fat but considering its only good moves are Nuzzle, Seismic Toss, and two 8pp recovery moves, idt it stands much of a chance here.
Low-Key: Likely Impala (Randommons)
If this actually has Sizzly Slide (I forget how Randommons treats LGPE moves) it's a decent status spreader, but regardless it's just not a mon that can get much done.
Silvino (Fusion Evolution UU)
It can't change type which kind of kills the mon's entire gimmick, and even with its gimmick it's not a very good mon. I don't think this can stand up to the meta here tbh.
Yak Attack: Exploud-Meow (Breeding Variants)
I really like this one. STAB Scrappy Boomburst is incredible, even at 91/91 offenses, and with options like U-Turn and Plot, this is everything Exploud wishes it could be and more.
Pokémon: Catelax
Mod of Origin: Roulettemons
Stats: 101/93/133/43/96/134 (600)
Type:
Abilities: Neutralizing Gas / No Guard / Shed Skin
Moves (important is bolded): Brick Break, Bug Buzz, Draco Meteor, Fake Out, Final Gambit, Flamethrower, Healing Wish, Mach Punch, Octolock, Poison Jab, Scald, Shadow Force, Strange Steam, Super Fang, Tail Slap, Techno Blast, Thunderbolt, Toxic, U-Turn, Will-o-Wisp, X-Scissor | Assist, Constrict, Dream Eater, Electrify, Grassy Terrain, Growl, Harden, Heal Block, Heavy Slam, Imprison, Inferno, Misty Terrain, Phantom Force, Power Trip, Sand Tomb, Simple Beam, Stomp, Submission, Tackle, Trop Kick | all universal TMs, notably Substitute, Protect
Description: Just a cool little stallbreaker. It's got a lot of bulk, which it kind of needs given its typing but might still be a bit much, an insane Speed tier, but pretty lacking power. Another mon I'm not sure if it's too broken or not honestly.
If this actually has Sizzly Slide (I forget how Randommons treats LGPE moves) it's a decent status spreader, but regardless it's just not a mon that can get much done.
