Surprising Legendaries

Surprising Legendaries (OU RMT)

dpmfsb485.png

Heatran@Shuca
Naïve
4 HP / 252 Sp Atk / 252 Spe
~ Stealth Rock
~ Fire Blast
~ Earth Power
~ Explosion

Standard Leadtran. Not much to say about, can deal with Blissey/Snorlax with Explosion. Sometimes I use sash over Shuca.

dpmfsb437.png

Bronzong@Leftovers
Sassy
252 HP / 58 Atk / 180 Def / 20 Sp Def
~ Calm Mind
~ Gyro Ball
~ Hidden Power Fire
~ Hypnosis/EQ

Surprise #1. This Bronzong is just awesome. After 1 CM he can OHKO Scizor and Forrotress with HP Fire. It takes physycal hits like a beast and Special too after some 2 CMs. It has a chance to 2HKO the SteelTrapper Magnezone after one CM, but that's slim. 2 CM's ensure a 2HKO and that will make him take his hits even better too. CM works surprisingly well becuase Zong almost ALLWAYS has a chance to use it. Relaxed is another option, haven't tested that.

dpmfsb251.png

Celebi@Leftovers
Timid
252 HP / 80 Def / 176 Spe
~ Calm Mind
~ Psychic
~ Recover
~ Baton Pass

The standard CM passer. This supports Heatran, Zapdos, Bronzong and Suicune. Ever seen Heatran and Zapdos after a boost or two? Boy, you should get the hell outta there when you spot it. They can become extremely hard to take down. It's also my Breloom counter and makes a fine sweeper after a CM or two, except for Darks/Steels/Psychos.

dpmfsb145.png

Zapdos@Life Orb
Timid
4 HP / 252 Sp. Atk / 252 Spe
~ HP Grass
~ Thundebolt
~ Roost
~ Heat Wave

Standard LO Zapdos, HP Grass is to take out Swampert, because it's just so annoying if I don't carry it. Thunderbolt is the regular STAB move and Roost to heal/deflect Ice attacks. Heat Wave is for those stupid steals who think they can continue their rampage if Zong has fallen. It's also one of my favorite sweepers.
CM makes it even deadlier.

dpmfsb245.png

Suicune@Leftovers
Bold
252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe
~ Surf
~ Rest
~ Calm Mind
~ Sleep Talk

The standard Crocune. Monotype attacking is that bad after a few CMs. I could run Roar over Sleep Talk to bust other stat-uppers. I love this thing.

dpmfsb481.png

Mesprit@Choice Scarf
Jolly
80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spe
~ Thunder Punch
~ Ice Punch
~ Zen Headbutt
~ U-Turn

Surprise #2. With the Platinum update, physical Mesprit is a lot more viable then in the old D/P. These EVs make it outspeed base 130 Speed pokémon with a +speed nature. U-Turn OHKO's Weavile, Ice Punch is my Dragon Counter, Thunderpunch my Gyarados counter and other flying stuff. Zen Headbutt is a strong STAB attack which makes it even more dangerous. U-Turn is just to get the hell out of there if he can't do anything.

Adamant is an option to boost my Attack, but I'll lose the speed advantage to the 130's. I could also max speed and slap a Band on it, but I like it's high speed.

OU's (I hope these are all of them):
Machamp - Mesprit can handle him, Zapdos will finish if necessairy.
Lucario - Zapdos/Zong/Tran.
Metagross - Zapdos/Zong/Tran.
Scizor - Zapdos/Zong/Tran.
Breloom - Zapdos/Celebi/Mesprit.
Zapdos - Mesprit/Suicune/Zong.
Azelf - Mesprit+Suicune.
Magnezone - Zapdos/Tran(non-scarf that is)/Zong.
Aerodactyl - Zapdos/Mesprit.
Alakazam - Mesprit+Zong/Cune.
Gengar - Mesprit.
Celebi - Mesprit+Zapdos/Mesprit+Zong/Mesprit+Tran.
Gyarados - Zapdos/Mesprit.
Dragons - Mesprit.
Gliscor - Mesprit/Cune/Sometimes Zapdos.
Dugtrio - Mesprit/Zapdos/Cune.
Kingdra - I just charge it at full power with anything but Tran.
Blissey - Mesprit+Tran/Tran/Zong after CM'ing/Cune after CM'ing.
Snorlax - Can be tough, Tran/Zong after CM'ing/Cune after CM'ing.
Tyranitar - Mesprit+Zong/Mesprit+Cune.
Hippowdon - Cune/Zapdos.
Infernape - Mesprit/Cune/Zapdos.
Swampert - Zapdos.
Dusknoir - Don't have an answer to this really, usually wear it down with Cune.
Mamoswine - Zapdos(watch out for CB Ice Shard though)/Cune/Zong.
Heracross - Mesprit/Zapdos/Bronzong to an extend.
Latias - This bitch shouldn't be OU in the first place v.v Mesprit+booster to try and deal with it if it is too hard.
Tentacruel - Mesprit/Zapdos/Zong if carrying EQ then.
Skarmory - Zapdos/Mesprit/Cune/Zong/Tran.
Rhyperior - Zapdos/Cune.
Jirachi - Tough one, Zapdos/Tran/Cune should do the trick.
Jolteon - Not that counterable. Mesprit can wear it down with Suicune. or Tran if he's still alive.
Ninjask - Rocks should take care of this or else Zapdos/Tran.
Empoleon - Zapdos/Tran could weaken a bit with EP.
Elektivire - Tran is my best guess, luckaly, it's not used that much anymore.
Donphan - Cune/Zapdos/Celebi.
Cresselia - Like Latias. A real pain. This requires a (lot of) combo(s). Mesprit+Celebi->Zapdos does it a lot of times.
Porygon-Z - Shut down by Suicune/Zong completely.
Heatran - Suicune/Heatran/Zapdos after a boost.
Bronzong - Heatran/Zapdos/Bronzong/Suicune

Note to where I've put "Mesprit+???".
That means Mesprit U-Turns to take a big chunk of health away to let something else switch in quite safely and kill it afterwards.
Celebi isn't used that much, but it's CM passing is worth gold on this team. Even Mesprit can profit from that to take special hits good.

I think that was all.

EDIT: Yay, namechange n.n

I seem to have a little trouble with some speed raisers and Cursing pokémon. But not much. Unless you guys find something else.

Sidenote:
DON'T START ABOUT ROTOM-A. HE'S NOT MADE FOR WIFI AND I WON'T EXCEPT HIM THERE SO DON'T POST NOTHING ABOUT IT.

I really hate the fact he's usable on shoddy.
Thank you.

see the mindzong still gets some use

if you use a relaxed nature, you don't have to invest as many EVs into DEF and can put them into SP.D or SPA and it still gives power to gyro ball, it seems like it would work a little better, all you need is like 2 CMs and bronzong is set

earthquake can deal massive damage (if not OHKO) to any fire that wants to switch into you as long as its not charizard or moltres (but the likely hood of seeing htem is very slim anyways), earthquake is the safer choice but hypnosis is the better choice (as it's highly unlikely that a team carries more than one fire type)

the celebi set is weird, i mean it'll work, but it just doesn't seem that it'll work too well, cressy could be in that spot CMing and healing itself, it's also a better wall, other than that you could get rid of BP on celebi and give it shadow ball incase dusknoir wants to switch in

you do have quite a bit of psychics and only mesprit with something SE on them, meaning a few dark pokes can switch in a lot on this team (especially umbreon) but who am i kidding, not many defensive dark pokes are used anyways and you should be fine

other than that, it seems fine

Azelf does the job WAY better than Mesprit, as Azelf has hugher ofensive stats.

On your Celebi, Psychic doesn't have THAT much coverage, you could change it for Leaf Storm (for having a strong stab attack that hits other types better) or Perish Song (to phaze opponents that want to stat up on you)

Well, I need Celebi to Baton Pass, Cress can't do that. The analysis said either Psychic or GK. I forgot to try GK tbh. Will do that too.
Celebi being able to Baton pass means I can give almost any team member a special immunity. (Boosted pokémon lost most of the time because they were being haxed to death with a shitload of crits)

That's what I found out too, Umbreon can be a pain. Zong's only weakness is fire, and I've got Tran and Suicune to fix that. And both Celebi and Mesprit have got pretty impresive defenses. That's the main reason I use them.

Azelf does the job WAY better than Mesprit, as Azelf has hugher ofensive stats.

I like Mesprit because it's bulkyer. And I like that. But I will try Azelf too. Forgot about him tbh.

I haven't tried GK yet, I'd like to try that before Leaf Storm since it has way more PP.

I think mesprit is great, I would suggest putting some type of screen on him thought, to better compliment your team.
