Welcome to the Scarlet & Violet CAP Bazaar! This thread is for a more casual team-sharing environment than the RMT subforum or official Sample Team submissions. Here are the guidelines:

1. Make sure you've playtested your teams if you're sharing them and looking for advice.
2. Provide an importable for your team and a brief description.

That's it! Here's an example post from a much older iteration of this thread:
Yo, this is not my team at all, its something that I just think we as a meta have settled upon due to its sheer power. But here's standard.exe:

Very simple team to play; you got 1000 ways to grab momentum with Zera and Slowking, Delayed move spam can guarantee a KO every time you get Shifu in, and standard as hell King/Libra/Tomo defensive core means you're generally pretty prepped vs the meta.

Sun Hyper Offense
:skeledirge: :roaring-moon: :great-tusk: :stratagem: :malaconda: :walking-wake:

this team right here got me in the 1408.

:skeledirge:
Sweeper-stoppper, and counter sweeper. It stops substitute, it stops anything even thinking of boosting its stats, and it burns anything that tries to switch in. It is crazy good. Stops rapid spin, too.
:roaring-moon:
252 Atk Choice Band Protosynthesis Roaring Moon Outrage vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Dondozo: 262-310 (51.9 - 61.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Choice Band Protosynthesis Roaring Moon Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 192+ Def Toxapex: 248-292 (81.5 - 96%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 Atk Choice Band Protosynthesis Roaring Moon Outrage vs. 252 HP / 40 Def Arghonaut: 400-472 (96.6 - 114%) -- 81.3% chance to OHKO
NOTHING switches into this thing. Countering it relies on predictability. While being stuck in outrage can suck, if the opponent doesnt have a resist then it doesn't matter.
:great-tusk:
what DOESNT tusk do? It's already mandatory on all teams, and is already great normally. Give it a sun boost and it becomes scarier than normal. Head Smash is for those pesky flying types.
:stratagem:
The fastest unboosted pokemon in the metagame short of Dragapult. It tosses out rocks when anything that doesnt like it is in, and fire boosted flamethrower is good for any grass types.
:malaconda:
a bit of a niche pick, but it both sets sun and almost guarantees safety for any allies. Synthesis heals 75%, plus glare paralyzes mons like Snaelstrom. While its typing is..bad, it makes up greatly with the power of the SUN.
:walking-wake:
Ah yes. Dinosaur suicune. It has water coverage that this team desperately needs. Draco Meteor for anything that resists or is immune to water. Tera fairy for OTHER dragons when its running low on options!

Nevermind that, since Wake was banned and it was the glue of the team, I needed to change a lotta things. thankfully, this next team is as good as that, and better in some ways!
:roaring-moon:
252 Atk Choice Band Protosynthesis Roaring Moon Outrage vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Dondozo: 262-310 (51.9 - 61.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Choice Band Protosynthesis Roaring Moon Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 192+ Def Toxapex: 248-292 (81.5 - 96%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 Atk Choice Band Protosynthesis Roaring Moon Outrage vs. 252 HP / 40 Def Arghonaut: 400-472 (96.6 - 114%) -- 81.3% chance to OHKO
NOTHING switches into this thing. Countering it relies on predictability. While being stuck in outrage can suck, if the opponent doesnt have a resist then it doesn't matter. Now with U-Turn for momentum!
:great-tusk:
Tosses out rocks, removes rocks, and crushes threats with earthquake. Sun makes it a physical beast, removing your item, hazards, and 'mon.
:stratagem:
Meteor Beam. Punches a huge hole in enemy teams, then mows down everything short of argh, which even then has issues switching into it!
:malaconda:
a bit of a niche pick, but it both sets sun and almost guarantees safety for any allies. Synthesis heals 75%, plus glare paralyzes mons like Snaelstrom. While its typing is...bad, it makes up greatly with the power of the SUN. Grav apple deals nice amounts of damage to any arghs that swap in.
:iron-moth:
Sun boosted overheat basically makes this thing Chi-yu at home. Sludge wave deals great damage to mons resistant to overheat like arghonaut (i really hate that octopus), and other bulky tanks. Solar Beam one-shots tusk, plus fiery dance can snowball really quickly.
:toxapex:
i hate toxapex but god damn is it good. send it in to poison and eject button out, allowing something like Moon to be sent in without a sweat. Also does general toxapex things.

Astrolotl does its thing of scouting and support, in the form of burns, defense drops, and spike setting.
Snaelstrom is a bulky swords dance sweeper, with facade to abuse toxic orb+poison heal.
Meowscarada with choice band removes pokemon it hits supereffectively's life priviledges.
Kitsunoh is our defoger
Krillowatt is a bulky special attacker
Hisuian Zoroark Is A Specs abuser

:colossoil: :tomohawk: :volcarona: :rotom-wash: :dragapult: :garganacl:

A little Colossoil BO I cooked up the other day.

Colossoil is a really funny Pokemon that can come in on Unawares like Dirge and Clod and immediately threaten them with huge damage every time he comes in, benefiting setup sweepers like Volcarona. Being immune to burn in the current metagame is a distinction that it only shares with Bax, and being able to throw around Guts-boosted Tera Normal Facades is a treat.

Tomo was added to supply SR, longevity, a source of passive damage, and a pivot that could come in on Meow, Moon, Tusk, Argh, and Cindy and double out to Col as Ghold and Libra switch in. Body Press and max Defense lets you check Kingambit most effectively and also lets Tomo function as a panic button against Bax.

Volc gives the team a strong win-con and a check to Val, Ghold, and Bao. Tera Fairy and Tera Blast means we completely flip our matchup into Dragons like Bax, Pult, Moon, and Chomp, and also lets her check the former more consistently.

Washtom provides a switch-in to Iron Moth, Volc, Gren, Dirge, and Kril. Washtom also keeps momentum for the team with Volt Switch, with said Volt Switch also dealing noteworthy damage to Argh, Snael, Venom, Tomo, and Corv in the process.

Pult provides excellent speed control, strong Shadow Balls and Draco Meteors, and a source of pivoting via U-turn that takes baits Libra, Garg, and Kingambit for Col to take advantage of. Draco also OHKOs Tusk and deals heavy damage to Tomo and Venom, opening holes for Col to exploit.

Garg rounds out the team by supplying a check to the books, and extra check to the Moths, Pult, Dirge, and setup Pokemon like Moon and DNite. Curse and Tera Fairy can also flip the script against Tusk and Val, wearing down two of Col's best checks.

Miasmaw clicks scale shot after a swords dance to hit with a 100-120 base power focus sash/sturdy breaking dragon STAB, Earthquake, which can be swapped with fire fang to hit orthworm, to hit most steels, and gunk shot for fairy types.
Dragon Dance Pyroak is pretty good and has Flare blitz for STAB, Wild Charge For Hitting Water types, earthquake for good neutral coverage
Kitsunoh is a bulky support pokemon with will-o-wisp, wish, defog, and u-turn.
Plasmanta absorbs water moves and fires off its powerful STAb combo of Electric And Poison, with surf and aura sphere for coverage.
Great tusk is great tusk, enough said.
Venomicon gives a good defensive backbone to my team

A couple teams that I've spammed on the ladder to moderate success.

:landorus-therian: :revenankh: :hemogoblin: :kingambit: :ogerpon-wellspring: :chuggalong:

PrioSpam HO centered around clearing out counterplay to BU Rev. Use Encore Waterpon and/or DE Hemo to take care of opposing Chugg and Argh and you're pretty much off to the races with Rev and Gambit from there. Lando sets up Rocks early and pivot around Venom and Libra to find entry points for Waterpon and Chugg. Pretty weak to Multiscale Cresciedon overall so try to pop its Multiscale early so that the prio sweepers can take care of it later.

:crucibelle: :dragapult: :tomohawk: :equilibra: :samurott-hisui: :raging_bolt:

Hazard Stack BO built around chaining U-Turns with Cruci and Pult. Basic idea is that you stack hazards with Rocks Tomo and Samu, and use Pult and Cruci to burn, knock, and generally just bully the shit out of Ting-Lu and Libra so that CM Bolt can easily take control of the endgame. Tomo is used over a generally better Flyer like Venom or Lando because of its significantly better Gambit matchup, and also because Hurricane + BPress (on top of just being really cool and fun mixed coverage) makes it nigh-effortless to deny hazard removal with it. Again, Cresceidon is a bitch for this team so use Tera wisely to get around it.

:rotom-wash: :hemogoblin: :dragapult: :skarmory: :gliscor: :slowking-galar:

Spikes Balance featuring SubPlot Washtom. This team exists solely to farm other balances extremely hard, centering around using Pult and Glowking to put Washtom in position to Sub up against Libra, Plot up and rip holes in the opponent's defensive core. Otherwise it's fairly standard balance; get hazards up with your Flyers and mash ESpeed a couple times when the chips are down.

Sharing some funny stuff I built since I’m out of seasonal and I wanted to share one of my favorite teams in any tier rn

:skarmory: :Gliscor: :ting-lu: :cresceidon: :mollux: :Meowscarada:
Probably my favorite team I’ve used in cap so far as it’s a hazard stacking bulky balance with checks to a large swathe of the meta. Skarmory fat was what I wanted to build because I lost hard to stuff like offensive tusk and sd Gliscor in the past and I wanted to change that. it also helps check stuff like gambit and spikestack with meow and Weav which would otherwise annoy the team hard without skarmory. Spikes are also a great tool for forcing progress especially with meow. Gliscor is the wincon of choice and helps improve the balance / fat matchups with the help of spikes. Eq is used to do more damage to bolt mollux hemo Garg chugg moth and gambit. Lu is ur typical anti-offense mon and a harder check to stuff like chugg moth bolt Ghold specs pult and certain Darkrai sets like Tera poison sludge bomb which would farm cresceidon. It also provides rocks and insurance against ho. Cresceidon is here as a backup check to fightings like reven, argh, tusk, and ival. Encore also helps ensure nothing goes wrong against hemo or sd Gliscor in case mollux or skarm get worn down. Mollux provides spin primarily, but it’s also the main water resist against threats like Prima and ogerpon. It also can check hemo and wisphex pult. Finally is Meowscarada which is here not only as a secondary speed control option but also as a way to gain momentum against other balance and knocks off hdb so hazards are much better tools at forcing progress. Meow is also good against Garg which is a pain in the ass for fat.

This team did well in seasonals and in test games as well as being extremely fun. Unfortunately the time it lost in seasonal was when my skarmory got crit when it 6-0’d but the team would’ve farmed otherwise.

:ninetales-alola: :Zamazenta: :syclant: :Gliscor: :Volcanion: :Hatterene:
Just a cap variant of the hellom hail but with syclant. I don’t rlly have a description for this except that the volcanion set is super heat and that sd Gliscor can just win games if positioned correctly. Syclant is cool in hail as it can survive Prio from hemo and gambit from higher percents and makes it kinda fat under veil as well.

:Rillaboom: :Clefable: :heatran: :equilibra: :Tornadus-Therian: :arghonaut:
I wanted to build gterrain because I was inspired by some ss style gterrain balances and wanted to use one in sv. Sd Rilla is the main win condition and with the kit nerf it’s higher quality as a mon in general. Barb clef helps vs. moon and gets gterrain healing which makes up for the lack of leftovers. It’s also the main way of dealing with mons like dnite, hsam, and zama while setting up rocks in the process. tran is the main fire resist, owning moth (with Tera grass) and hemogoblin while also gaining a lot from gterrain, as the passive recovery is appreciated and something like dnite or eq lando can’t ohko you. Tblast grass tran seems optimal as with it you can trap argh, Primarina, and a poorly played cresceidon. Libra is the hazard control and Darkrai check while also honing more firepower in doom desire, meaning rilla can beat something like dnite or venom which would otherwise be good checks. Tornt is our speed control and main ground immune, revenge killing and checking threats like tusk, Ogerpon, and ival if it is lacking / used up booster energy. Argh makes sure nothing goes wrong vs ho / offense and checks threats like gambit and sd Gliscor. It also provides spikes which are very valuable in forcing progress.

:iron moth: :dragonite: :iron crown: :revenankh: :Samurott-hisui: :iron treads:
I saw tblast fairy dnite farm in SPL and I wanted to build it. Encore actually makes u beat ID zama which is cool too. I somewhat missed using iron crown and iron moth ho in ndou so I wanted to use those guys as well. I decided to go for a double lead of iron treads + hsam, which stack hazards and in the case of the latter remove them for moth. Reven was the last pick, as its capabilities as a spinblocker for ho were much more effective than something like Ghold or pult, and I believe setup necturna is way too fishy in this tier. Overall this team has a good mirror matchup against opposing offense with the booster speed mons, hazard stacking, prio from reven, and dnite having multiscale.
