Washtom is annoying. How do I deal with it besides slap Clod on a team?

Here’s a few pokemon that could work that also are decently splashable:

:dragapult: :hydreigon: Special attacking dragons can pretty safely switch in without the fear of the attack drop from burn and threaten with big damage

:amoonguss: Also comfortably switches in and can threaten with status and Grass moves

:meowscarada: Outspeeds and Banded Flower Trick will OHKO fully physical defensive sets

:garganacl: When Tera’d it can threaten with salt, also can switch into status safely

:arboliva: Okay so not very splashable or very meta but this can sit on Rotom and hit it very hard in return

Rotom isn’t a fan of Knock Off either, if you can hit it, then wearing it down with hazards and status is possible

Let's say, hypothetically speaking, a friend said they'd give you $1000 if you could get above 1600 ELO on the OU ladder using your favorite Pokémon... and that Pokémon just so happened to be Raichu.

How the heck am I going to make this work?

Is there a way to submit songs to be used as Suspect Test themes? I know some choice beats from Final Fantasy XIV that would work wonders.

I already have one for a potential Gargancel suspect.

Electric Terrain with Pincurchin or just use 5 other good Pokemon, slap a scarf on it, and call it speed control. Wouldn’t advise this though

While it can, I think Slither Wing could do the job slightly better since I think it has overall better bulk? It has access to Wisp and Morning Sun also, it's worth a try at least.
Slither Wing is a lot worse into Iron Valiant and the lacks Quiver Dance threat, so I do not view them as comparable.

Slither Wing is more an outright utility mon, whereas Volcarona is a Bulky Win Condition with Quiver Dance, the different typing, plus Flame Body to discourage Contact attackers. The bulk difference is only slightly better on P. DEF (which is mitigated by burns), and Volcarona's speed difference is an advantage for things like defensive Great Tusk, or less investment to creep things like 252 Neutral Dragonite and Breloom.

At the very least, Slither Wing doesn't effectively slot in as a drag-and-drop replacement for a bulky Volc, or vice versa.

What's currently the best use of ceruledge in ou ATM?

It is mainly used as a setup sweeper/wallbreaker. The most popular sets run Flash Fire, a set up move like Bulk Up or Swords Dance, its unique move Bitter Blade, and then an extra move like Taunt, Shadow Sneak, or a coverage move. It works well with teammates that are weak to Fire as it can not only eat those hits for free but become a self sustaining sweeper with the Flash Fire boost and Bitter Blade heals. There is also the Weak Armor sets which run Focus Sash to get a free +2 speed boost and really lay on the hurt with Swords Dance Bitter Blade and Shadow Sneak.

Okay, I might've forgotten about Fire resisting Fairy for like, five seconds.

I think explaining "Slither Wing is more utility" is a good way to look at it also, I agree with that.

What is Breloom's role in OU outside of Spore? I love using it, I just have issues justifying it's use for my more serious teams.

Most commonly, it's either used as a counterlead with sash and SD, and spores things it can't hit, it also has other viable sets like banded. SD Breloom is a massive threat to stall teams as the premier unaware physical wall Dondozo loses to it without tera. Mach punch also offensively checks Pao. The biggest thing holding it back (other than its subpar speed) is Gholdengo, but some Breloom sets run bulldoze or tera blast fire to surprise it.

Not that I'm complaining but is the Chinese Weavile suspect shorter than usual? Why is that?
We felt it only needed one weekend after the inclusion on multiple surveys + the fact that I received close to a m consensus in the most recent survey

Works cleanly with the rest of our calendar for the future as well

Hi, not sure if this is the best place to ask this since I'm fairly new here. I'm looking for reliable ways of dealing with Volcarona. I've considered using Power Gem on Scarf Gholdengo, or Acrobatics with Roaring Moon but I'm not that convinced. Any insight you guys may have would be appreciated.
