Congrats to the three teams that have made it to the end of this tour! This is a Round Robin finale and the winner will be decided by which team wins two sets (hope for no reset). I will post a :psytear: on all the winners's walls as a reward I guess. You can give as much advice to your teammates about team building, strategy, and etc, but when a battle is happening you can watch but can’t ghost. Even if you’re team is eliminated, I still encourage you to play your scheduled game, although it’s not required, since I plan to track usage data and records (so that you can shove it in the face of an SPL manager one day).

matte and bbeeaa , I’m going to give y’all an extension till about Saturday, August 24 at 10:00 P.M. -5 since this is finals.

As this is finals, the deadline is pretty lax so just get it done by at least the end of August. Have fun!

I can't find when the original extension was, but if it was Wednesday, then bea could have won it because he gave his availability (after 6 PM -4) while matte only gave his timezone but never a time availability. Coinflip would've also been fine imo since it's unfortunate they waited until last day of original deadline to schedule.

Generally with extensions, you'd want to grant one if both players at least scheduled for a time in the extension window. Having no time by Wednesday or whenever the 1st extension was is a poor attempt of scheduling from both players, and coinflipping is the usual go-to option for situations like that.

Finally, I would personally never give weight to "right now" attempts at scheduling because it's unfair to the other person to suddenly stop what they're doing and go play and doing that instead of suggesting a proper time is a frequent bad thing that tour hosts are used to seeing. I would not reward matte for these messages, especially considering the last message prior to this was bea giving his availability and matte doing absolutely nothing useful after that.

Other last thing would be that I think monday - sunday night deadlines are best, since it's possible they could've gotten it done tomorrow if they were busy friday/saturday of this weekend, but that's just my personal preference.

I think reverting to a coinflip is fine to do.
