Once again, sorry for any inconveniences or confusion. I’ll do the coinflip tomorrow. It’s 11 P.M. for me currently…“TPP” said:I can't find when the original extension was, but if it was Wednesday, then bea could have won it because he gave his availability (after 6 PM -4) while matte only gave his timezone but never a time availability. Coinflip would've also been fine imo since it's unfortunate they waited until last day of original deadline to schedule.
Generally with extensions, you'd want to grant one if both players at least scheduled for a time in the extension window. Having no time by Wednesday or whenever the 1st extension was is a poor attempt of scheduling from both players, and coinflipping is the usual go-to option for situations like that.
Finally, I would personally never give weight to "right now" attempts at scheduling because it's unfair to the other person to suddenly stop what they're doing and go play and doing that instead of suggesting a proper time is a frequent bad thing that tour hosts are used to seeing. I would not reward matte for these messages, especially considering the last message prior to this was bea giving his availability and matte doing absolutely nothing useful after that.
Other last thing would be that I think monday - sunday night deadlines are best, since it's possible they could've gotten it done tomorrow if they were busy friday/saturday of this weekend, but that's just my personal preference.
I think reverting to a coinflip is fine to do.
