Apologies for the delay, and congrats to our winners!

For this week, we've got a Pokemon that through the years has managed to valiantly defy powercreep to whatever extent possible. It's never ended a generation lower than UU since its release in Generation 2, and it's regarded as a fairly decent, if underrated, threat in today's OU landscape. The perennial poster child of priority moves (alongside Extreme Killer Arceus and now Dragonite), we've got the meta(l) bug in Scizor.

Scizor @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 120 HP / 252 Atk / 136 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- U-turn
- Close Combat
- Knock Off
Choice Band Scizor finds itself a home in OU thanks to its devastating power and near-unrivaled ability to close out endgames. It's always been known for its Technician-boosted STAB Bullet Punch, granting it incredible revenge-killing and cleaning capabilities, ever since it received the move in Generation 4, and it's carried that legacy all the way to present-day OU. Its U-turn is also not to be slept on - while Bug is a poor offensive typing, Scizor still manages to hit quite hard with it. Any Steel-type not named Gholdengo or the metal birds deathly fears a Close Combat, while Gholdengo and other Bullet Punch resists like Iron Crown get destroyed by Knock Off. Can you stop this Technician from taking you apart?
