Hi SMHorizon, I was originally assigned your request for a Lanturn team but really struggled with finding the time and wanting to provide the best I could. It’s extremely late but the more the merrier right? I hope you like it and Merry Christmas :)
I spent a lot of time experimenting with Lanturn because I wanted to try for something more unique than just another balance. And this set is well.. very unique.
Lanturn is a very threatening snowballing threat with this set, and the shock factor makes for easy setup. With its great bulk, it has no issue “double-dancing.” Tera Bug resists ground and grass while also resisting Mach Punch, without making you weak to Ice Shard like Tera Flying would. Water Absorb is so that you can invest less in speed (you don’t need to outspeed Scarf Floatzel at +2 with WAbsorb.)
Froslass is a pretty standard HO lead, there’s a full explanation on its smogon analysis.
Charizard + eButton Indeedee-F
Eject Button on indeedee lets you easily swap in plenty of threats, but more specifically it activates Charizards Acrobatics to full power. DD Zard has been very fun on this team especially with Tera Ground giving you more setup. wAbsorb Lanturn has good synergy with Zard due to being able to switch in and set up on water types that may stop Zard like scarf Floatzel (I really don’t like Floatzel.)
Sneasel has a synergetic offensive typing and SD on this thing is very potent.
Lilligant is a bulky QD user, with Grass / Rock only being resisted by stuff that’s largely frail and or can’t stop Lilli from setting up. Rock is a great Tera type for it due to resisting fire and flying, giving you more setup opportunity.
