Alright, First off. am VERY tired of hearing "it fails because it lets the other lead set up rocks" i mean come on, since when has it been pert's job TO STOP rocks?

Uhhh, have you even seen the set? It was also used as an anti-lead . What else do you think it does if its in the lead position? It should be obvious enough that its an anti-lead.

Also, you say in the scenario of it letting the poke set up rocks, it fails? oh yes, OHKOing a poke is failure

First of all suicide leads(provided you actually know what a suicide lead is) like Azelf gets out SR and your done, thats the entire point of using a suicide lead. In the case of Azelf, it can explode on you because it has sash to survive Hydro Pimp. In the case of Aero you get SR and your done. Swampert has failed to one of the characteristics: To stop suicide leads from getting up SR. Also Rapid Spin is irrelevant to the fact Swampert is not a good anti-lead and that suicide leads can set up SR on you. I mean, the same thing can be said for every other SR lead.

The Swampert thing is one thing I can agree on. (But either way I stated specspert wins so..)

we have machamp, does he stop SR? speed so low, NO, unless its against other perts and hippos, does togekiss? excluding the scarf set of course

Machamp has priority and like SDS said has much more use later on as unlike his pert does not have a choice item. Most Togekiss has scarf anyway.

You guys are focusing a lot on the fact that it is a lead. What if you take it out of the lead role?

And I won't even go in the non-lead position as if I wanted a torrent specs user with a good defensive typing then I would just rather go with Empoleon. Who has the same speed as Swampert only with better Special Attack and more resistances than Swampert, and even then Specs Empoleon is iffy.

So yes, I'm against this set to go on site.

Also note that I apologize El Fizz if I was harsh on you. The problem is that its meaningless for something like specspert to deserve a spot on site when a) It does have little to no advantages over the standard lead and b) is outclassed by specs empoleon

EDIT: Oh and also isn't this set breaking QC rules? "Witnessed" has wrote a set like this before and was rejected. Well it doesn't matter anyway since this is going to get disapproved

No worries at all dude. This isn't personal for me. In my opinion its a useful set and works. There is always a pokemon that outclasses another, just thought this would be something worth sharing. Someone asked if they could post another set I made in here and that got me thinking to post some other things I ran. So here it is.

I didn't know about a previously posted set. I checked through the current threads listed. I don't think there is some kind of archive to look at past rejected sets or else I would have looked through there too. So sorry if I broke any rules here.

I suppose this thread should be locked or deleted or whatever, there is a pretty clear consensus.
