[OVERVIEW]
Swanna has cemented itself as one of the best offensive Flying-types in the tier due to its great offensive typing. With access to Defog, Swanna becomes undoubtedly the best offensive Defogger ZU has to offer. Because of its typing, Swanna can viably run a variety of different Z-Moves, which makes it hard to check. In addition, Swanna's above-average Speed tier lets it outspeed and threaten the likes of Silvally-Fighting, Combusken, and non-Choice Scarf Pinsir and Leafeon. Unfortunately, Swanna suffers from poor defensive stats, so it must rely on prediction when switching into common entry hazard setters and offensive Pokemon alike, such as Crustle, Pinsir, Kecleon, and Golem. Because of its average offensive stats, Swanna is forced to rely on Hurricane or Z-Moves in order to wallbreak properly. This restricts Swanna's wallbreaking capabilities.

move 2: Scald
move 3: Defog
move 4: Roost

ability: Big Pecks
nature: Timid
evs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========
Hurricane and Scald are Swanna’s most effective moves, allowing it to take advantage of its fantastic STAB combination. Roost gives Swanna the ability to restore its health after Life Orb recoil and Stealth Rock damage and allows it to repeatedly check Pokemon such as Floatzel, Silvally-Fighting, and Combusken.

Set Details
========
Flyinium Z allows Swanna to bypass Hurricane’s low accuracy. Life Orb is used to boost Swanna's damage output; however, the recoil damage is often detrimental when coupled with Stealth Rock damage. Big Pecks allows Swanna to avoid Defense drops, which help Swanna better check Floatzel that use Liquidation.

Usage Tips
========
Swanna’s main goal is to act as a wallbreaker, taking advantage of physically defensive walls such as Tangela and Gourgiest-XL as well as slower offensive Pokemon such as Leafeon, Silvally-Fighting, and Oricorio. Swanna can switch into Pokemon it is able to threaten such as Combusken, Gourgiest-XL, and Silvally-Fighting. Swanna should take the opportunity to remove entry hazards when it forces switches. It is important to utilize Roost in order to maintain Swanna's longevity when checking Pokemon like Floatzel and Combusken. Swanna's relatively low Special Attack stat means it struggles to break specially defensive Pokemon such as Lickilicky, Kecleon, and Bronzor without a super effective move, so it's best to switch into physical wallbreakers to better handle them. Swanna's Z-Move is best used to net KOs when it doesn't want to risk a Hurricane miss. Furthermore, Supersonic Skystrike can also be used to remove weakened defensive Pokemon such as Silvally-Water and Pyukumuku.

Team Options
========
Swanna pairs well with Pokemon that appreciate entry hazards removed like Abomasnow, Combusken, Rapidash, and Pinsir. Physical wallbreakers such as Machoke, Komala, and Shiftry can threaten specially defensive walls like Lickilicky and Kecleon that are able to wall Swanna. These Pokemon also appreciate Swanna's ability to check Golem, Gourgeist-XL, and Silvally-Fighting. Electric-types such as Electivire and Machoke appreciate Swanna's ability to threaten Ground-types like Golem, Silvally-Ground, and Marowak. Swanna hates opposing Electric-types, so Pokemon immune to Electric-type attacks like Golem, Electivire, and Raichu all pair well it. Swanna appreciates Pokemon with entry hazard support such as Golem, Mareanie, and Probopass. In return, Golem and Probopass appreciate Swanna's ability to check Fighting-types. Because Swanna is weak to Stealth Rock and cannot switch into most hazard setters comfortably, it often appreciates a second hazard remover such as Silvally-Fighting, Silvally-Dragon, or Komala.

[SET]
name: Z-Rain Dance
move 1: Rain Dance
move 2: Surf / Scald
move 3: Hurricane
move 4: Roost / Ice Beam
item: Waterium Z
ability: Hydration
nature: Timid
evs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
=========
Scald may be used over Surf so Swanna is able to threaten physical attackers with a potential burn. Z-Rain Dance allows Swanna to gain a +1 Speed boost as well as activate its ability, Hydration. Swanna has the option to run Ice Beam over Roost exclusively for Altaria.

Set Details
========
Waterium Z is necessary to boost Swanna's Speed in cleaning situations; however, it can also be used to boost Swanna’s selected Water-type STAB move by turning it into Hydro Vortex if the speed boost is not needed. However, Hydro Vortex from Scald is much weaker than from Surf.

Usage Tips
========
Swanna's main role is to act as a late-game sweeper, so it is best to preserve it until it has a clear opening or its checks and counters are weakened. The choice between using Z-Rain Dance or Hydro Vortex should be based on whether Swanna needs a Speed boost in order to sweep. Under rain, Hydro Vortex can be used to catch opposing weakened specially defensive walls off guard such as Bronzor, Lickilicky, Assault Vest Komala, and Kecleon. Ideally, Roost should be used on predicted switches in order to maintain Swanna's HP, giving it a greater chance of completing its sweep. With the +1 Speed boost, Swanna outpaces and KOes common Choice Scarf users such as Chatot, Leafeon, Pinsir, a weakened Electivire, and weakened Silvally formes. Swanna should be wary of priority users such as Shiftry, Kecleon, and Pawniard, as they ignore Swanna's Speed boost and can take advantage of its low defenses.

Team Options
========
Swanna greatly appreciates entry hazard support in order to weaken some of its checks and counters, so Pokemon that can set hazards such as Golem and Mareanie all make for great partners. Because Swanna is weak to Stealth Rock, Pokemon that can remove hazards such as Komala and Silvally formes are all excellent options. Silvally-Fighting in particular makes for a fantastic option because it isn't weak to Stealth Rock and can pressure Golem and Probopass. Swanna often finds itself pressured by Electric-type Pokemon, so Pokemon that are immune to Electric-type attacks such as Raichu, Electivire, and Golem all make for good partners. Swanna can synergize well with other physical late-game sweepers like Muk, Pinsir, and Combusken by eliminating each others' defensive checks. Physical wallbreakers such as Shiftry, Combusken, and Choice Band Komala are all able to pressure Pokemon that wall Swanna such as Bronzor, Vigoroth, and Kecleon.

[SET]
name: Bravest Bird (Z-Mirror Move)
move 1: Mirror Move
move 2: Brave Bird
move 3: Liquidation
move 4: Aqua Jet / Roost
item: Flyinium Z
ability: Big Pecks
nature: Jolly
evs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
=========
Z-Mirror Move gives Swanna a +2 boost in Attack and allows it to fire off the foe's last move as a Z-Move. STAB Brave Bird sets Swanna apart from Floatzel, allowing it to hit Tangela and Gourgiest-XL. Aqua Jet offers Swanna priority, allowing it to clean if the opposing team still has a weakened Choice Scarf user. Alternatively, Roost enables Swanna to regain its health so it can maintain a threatening position. In addition, Roost allows Swanna to become a better soft check to Floatzel and Silvally-Fighting.

Set Details
========
Flyinium Z allows Swanna to use Z-Mirror Move or Supersonic Skystrike in order to clean late-game.

Usage Tips
========
Swanna should be primarily used as a late-game cleaner, so potential threats and walls should be removed such as Choice Scarf Electivire, Pawniard, Pyukumuku, and Silvally-Water. Before using Z-Mirror Move, take into account the last move that was used and whether it would KO the opposing Pokemon. Because of the recoil damage, Brave Bird should only be used to net KOs that Liquidation can't. Due to its lackluster bulk, Swanna lacking Roost should refrain from switching into opposing attacks. Swanna should be wary of Pokemon that use priority and resist Aqua Jet such as Shiftry.

Team Options
========
Swanna appreciates Pokemon that can set entry hazards and chip its checks and counters, so Pokemon like Golem and Mareanie make for great partners. Because Swanna is weak to Stealth Rock, it appreciates Pokemon that can remove them such as Silvally formes and Komala. Silvally-Fighting is one of the best options due to its resistance against Stealth Rock and ability to check Pokemon such as Golem, Probopass, and Pawniard. Electric-type Pokemon threaten Swanna, so Pokemon that are immune to Electric-type attacks such as Electivire, Golem, and Raichu make for good partners. Physical wallbreakers such as Shiftry and Choice Band Komala can weaken Pokemon like Bronzor and Altaria so Swanna has an easier time cleaning late-game. Other late-game sweepers such as Mr. Mime, Muk, and Combusken pair well with Swanna due to their combined offensive presence.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
A Choice Scarf set may be run to outpace other Choice Scarf users like Electivire, Pinsir, and Leafeon, but it's often outclassed by other Choice Scarf users in ZU. Unfortunately, Choice Scarf Swanna loses to Electivire unless the Electivire is significantly weakened. Swanna can utilize a defensive set consisting of 248 HP EVs and 232 Speed EVs with Leftovers to better check Monferno and Combusken.

Checks and Counter
===================

**Electric-type Pokemon**: Pokemon such as Raichu, Electivire, and Zebstrika all heavily threaten Swanna due to their STAB Volt Switch. Volt Switch users, in particular, are an issue because they are able to maintain momentum against Swanna's team.

**Specially Defensive Pokemon**: Pokemon such as Lickilicky, Komala, and Bronzor wall and threaten out Swanna. Moreover, Muk can use Swanna as setup fodder and effectively boost itself. However, all of these Pokemon should be wary of Swanna's Z-Mirror Move set.

**Revenge Killers**: Swanna does not appreciate taking much damage due to its poor bulk. Revenge killers that wield a Choice Scarf or have access to priority are often troublesome for Swanna. Some of these Pokemon include Shiftry, Pawniard, Mr. Mime, Chatot, and Kecleon.

The QC team went over what the sets for Swanna should be, so here's what we'd like to see on the Swanna analysis.
For the primary exports we want Offensive Defog and then Z-Rain Dance. The two have differing enough methods of play and team support where they can be separated.
For OO we would like Life Orb for the Offensive Defog set, Z-Mirror Move, all three Choice items, and bulky variants with Leftovers and 232 Spe EVs.
Thank you!

Will do m8 thanks for getting back to me Quickly!

On the offensive defog set, big pecks should be slashed bc a liquidation from Floatzel can defense drop into a 2hko and rain is rather rare.

[OVERVIEW]
  • Swanna has cemented itself as one of the best offensive Flying-types in the tier due to its great offensive typing.
  • With both Water / Flying STAB at its disposal, Swanna can pressure a large sum of the tier offensively. Kind of a redundant point after the first one. Instead, it would be better to talk about Swanna's versatility in Z-moves makes it difficult to check
  • In addition, Swanna has access to an above average Speed tier which lets it outspeed and threaten the likes of Silvally-Fighting, Monferno, and non-Choice Scarf Mr. Mime.
  • With access to Defog, Swanna becomes undoubtedly the best offensive Defogger ZU has to offer. Should go after the first point, flows better. Also eliminates the need to explain why it's a good Defogger
  • Unfortunately, Swanna suffers from poor defensive stats which can really hurt its reliability late game.
  • This, in conjunction with its Stealth Rock weakness, makes it hard for Swanna to switch-in on opposing attacking moves. Point should be restructured imo. Combine with the above point and make it more concise by saying that Swanna's poor bulk prevent it from switching into common hazard setters and offensive Pokemon alike, such as [examples]. (mainly because Swanna's offensive nature means it best uses Defog on forced switches)
  • Swanna’s primary Flying STAB, Hurricane, suffers from poor accuracy. Should definitely expand this point. Mention how Swanna's average offensive stats force it to rely on Hurricane or Z-moves, as well as the drawbacks to those.
[SET]
name: Biggest Bird (Offensive Defog)

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========
  • Hurricane is Swanna’s strongest STAB move, threatening Pokemon such as Gourgiest-XL, Silvally-Fighting, and Pinsir.
  • Swanna’s more reliable STAB move, Scald, allows it to damage Rock- and Steel-types such as Golem, Bronzor, Crustle, Pawniard. Since these points are fairly self-explanatory, you can combine them into one line. For example, "Hurricane and Scald are Swanna's most effective moves, taking advantage of its great STAB combination."
  • Defog allows Swanna to remove hazards from the field which relieves pressure from its teammates. Fluff. Explained in usage tips
  • Roost gives Swanna the ability to restore its health after Life Orb recoil and Stealth Rocks Damage. Should expand on this point. Roost also enables Swanna to repeatedly check Pokemon such as Floatzel and Silvally-Fighting.
  • Moreover, it helps Swanna maintain its longevity throughout the match. fluff

Set Details
========
  • Flyinium Z allows Swanna to use bypass Hurricane's low accuracy more reliably as well as becoming a 185-Base Power Flying STAB.
  • Life Orb is used to boost Swanna’s damage output, however, the recoil damage is often detrimental when coupled with Stealth Rock damage.
  • Swanna needs a maximum Special Attack and Speed investment in order to fully utilize its offensive set. fluff
  • Hydration allows Swanna to cure itself of any status ailments just in case rain is active. Replace with Big Pecks and adjust accordingly (Floatzel's Liquidation)

Usage Tips
========
  • Swanna can switch into and take advantage of opposing resisted attacks so it may remove entry hazards for its team. Would change this point since Swanna doesn't really switch into the most common hazard setters that well. It Defogs on forced switches, so you'll have to adjust this point.
  • Swanna’s main goal should be to act as a wallbreaker taking advantage of physically defensive walls such as Tangela, Gourgiest-XL, and Mareanie. Should be the first point since you stated that this is its main goal. Would add an "as well as slower offensive Pokemon such as Leafeon, Silvally-Fighting, and Oricorio" after "Mareanie", since Swanna also thrives on forcing out slower threats.
  • It is important to utilize Roost in order to maintain Swanna’s longevity when checking Pokemon like Abomasnow, Monferno, and Shiftry. Replace Abomasnow and Shiftry with Floatzel. Can't really switch into them or safely use Roost vs them if they stay in.
  • If specially defensive walls such as Lickylicky or Kecleon exist on the opposing team it might be best for Swanna to double into a physical attacker that can better handle them. Can be made more concise. Good information though.
  • Swanna’s Z-move can be used at any time to net KOs when the opportunity presents itself. Should give a specific example on when to use Z-Hurricane (i.e Hurricane into Z-Hurricane KOs Silvally-Water with rocks up) or not wanting to risk the miss against a different threat.

Team Options

  • Swanna pairs well with Pokemon that appreciate hazards removed like Abomasnow, Combusken, Rapidash, and Pinsir.
  • Physical wallbreakers such as Electivire, Komala, and Shiftry can threaten specially defensive walls like Lickylicky and Kecleon that are able to wall Swanna. Mention that they also appreciate Swanna's ability to check Golem, Gourgeist-XL, and Silvally-Fighting respectively.
  • Swanna hates Electric-types, so Pokemon immune to Electric-type attacks like Golem, Electivire, and Raichu all pair well it. Electric-types also appreciate Swanna's ability to threaten Ground-types
  • Swanna appreciates Pokemon with entry hazard support such as Golem, Mareanie, and Probopass. Mention how Golem and Probopass in turn appreciate Swanna's ability to check Fighting-types.

Moves

  • Hurricane is Swanna’s strongest STAB move allowing it to break through physically defensive Pokemon such as Tangela and Gourgiest-XL. Fluff
  • Swanna can use Surf, its most powerful Water-type STAB, to hit Rock- and Steel-types that resist Hurricane. Fluff. Surf>Scald is p self explanatory, so don't feel a need to state why.
  • Scald may be used over Surf so that Swanna is able to threaten physical attackers with burn chance.
  • Roost is used in order to help Swanna stay healthy throughout the match so that it has a greater chance to sweep late game. Fluff. Specifics should go into usage tips imo.
  • Z-Rain Dance allows Swanna to gain +1 Speed boost as well as activate its ability, Hydration.

  • Waterium-Z is necessary to boost Swanna’s speed in cleaning situations, however, it can also be used to boost Swanna’s selected Water-type STAB by turning it into Hydro Vortex if the speed boost is not needed.
  • A maximum Speed investment and a Timid nature allow Swanna to out-speed Pokemon like offensive Silvally variants, Leafeon lacking Choice Scarf, and Oricorio-E. Fluff
  • In addition, a maximum Special Attack investment is used to maximize Swanna’s damage output. Fluff
Can also mention that Scald's weaker Z-move is another reason why it's inferior.

  • Ideally, Roost should be used on predicted switches in order to maintain Swanna’s HP, allowing it a greater chance of completing its sweep.
Need to mention that after a Z-Rain Dance, Swanna outpaces common Choice Scarf users such as Electivire and Silvally, so it should be more wary of priority users such as Shiftry and Kecleon.

  • Swanna greatly appreciates entry hazard support in order to weaken some of its checks and counters, so, Pokemon that can set hazards such as Golem, Roselia, and Mareanie all make for great partners.

  • Swanna often finds itself pressured by Electric-type Pokemon, so, Pokemon that are immune to Electric-type attacks such as Raichu, Electivire, and Golem all make for good partners.
  • Swanna can synergize well with other late-game sweepers such as Muk, Combusken, and Komala thanks to the combined offensive pressure they create.
Need a point about wallbreakers that pair well with it.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
  • On Swanna’s offensive Defog set, Life Orb can be run over Flyinium-Z in order to boost Swanna’s damage output, however, Life Orb’s recoil damage can pile up quickly in conjunction with Stealth Rocks Already slashed.
  • Swanna can utilize a defensive set consisting of 248 HP and 232 Speed with Leftovers to better check Monferno and Combusken. Majority of QC disagreed with bulky Swanna being good enough for OO.
  • A Choice Scarf set may be run, but it’s often out classed by other Choice Scarf users in ZU. Mention how it outspeeds the most common Scarfer in Evire.
  • Swanna has the option to run a physical Choice Band set consisting of Liquidation, Brave Bird, Aqua Jet, and Defog to lure in specially defensive walls.
  • Choice Specs may also be run on Swanna in order to boost its wallbreaking capabilities. Choice sets outside of Scarf really limit Swanna's ability to take advantage of its great STAB combo. Also they're outclassed.
  • Additionally, Z-Mirror Move allows Swanna to become a Physical wallbreaker, however, it can only be used once and it’s almost always outclassed Floatzel. Last part is untrue because Swanna gets an immediate +2, attacks with a Z-move, and has STAB Brave Bird to boot. Just arguably isn't as good or consistent as the primary sets

Checks and Counters
===================

**Electric-type Pokemon**: Pokemon such as Raichu, Choice Scarf Electivire, and Oricorio-E Zebstrika (more relevant example) all heavily threaten Swanna due to their Electric-typing STAB Volt Switch. Additionally, Rotom-F is able to gain momentum from Swanna thanks to its access to Volt-Switch

**Specially Defensive Pokemon**: Pokemon such as Lickylicky, Bronzor, and Kecleon specially defensive Komala (Kecleon hates Scald burns whereas Komala can sponge any attack) completely wall Swanna and can damage or cripple threaten out Swanna in return. Moreover, Muk can use Swanna as set up fodder and effectively boost itself. All of these Pokemon need to be wary of Z-Mirror Move, should be mentioned.

**Revenge Killers**: Swanna does not appreciate taking much damage due to its poor bulk. Revenge killers that wield a Choice Scarf or have access to priority are often troublesome for Swanna. Some of these Pokemon include Shiftry, Kecleon, Abomasnow, Mr. Mime, and Chatot respectively.

Team Options
========
  • Swanna greatly appreciates entry hazard support in order to weaken some of its checks and counters, so, Pokemon that can set hazards such as Golem and Mareanie all make for great partners.
  • Because Swanna is weak to Stealth Rocks, Pokemon that can remove hazards such as Sandslash, Komala, and Silvally-Fighting are all excellent options. (Sandslash shouldn't be the first remover mentioned. Silvally in general is good here for hazard removal so mention Silvallys as a whole and then quickly clarify why Fighting specifically works well)
  • Swanna often finds itself pressured by Electric-type Pokemon, so, Pokemon that are immune to Electric-type attacks such as Raichu, Electivire, and Golem all make for good partners.
  • Swanna can synergize well with other late-game sweepers such as Muk, Combusken, and Komala thanks to the combined offensive pressure they create. (other physical late game sweepers by eliminating each others defensive checks. Wouldn't call Komala a late game sweeper either compared to say Crustle or Pinsir)
  • Physical Wallbreakers such as Choice Band Komala, Shiftry, and Combusken are all able to pressure Pokemon that wall Swanna such as Bronzor, Vigoroth, and Kecleon.

Moves
=========
  • Z-Mirror Move gives Swanna a +2 boost in Attack and allows it to fire off the foe’s last move as a Z-move.
  • STAB Brave Bird sets Swanna apart from Floatzel, allowing it to hit Tangela and Gourgiest-XL.
  • Liquidation hits Pokemon that resist Brave Bird such as Golem, Mawile, and Rotom-F. (Brave Bird and Liquidation are fairly self evident. Only relevant part of these two lines is setting itself apart from float)
  • Aqua Jet offers Swanna priority allowing it to clean if the opposing team still has a weakened Choice Scarf User.
  • Alternatively, Roost allows Swanna to regain its health, so it can maintain a threatening position.
  • In addition, Roost allows Swanna to become a better soft check to Floatzel and Silvally-Fighting.
Set Details
========
  • Flyinium-Z allows Swanna to use Z-Mirror Move or Supersonic Skystrike in order to clean late-game.
Usage Tips
========
  • Swanna should be primarily used as a late-game cleaner, so potential threats and walls should be removed such as Choice Scarf Electivire, Choice Scarf Shiftry, and Pyukumuku. (Scarf shiftry isn't used enough to be relevant here. Shiftry sucker punch would be fine instead since it can pick off a Swanna weakened from brave bird recoil)
  • Before using Z-Mirror Move, take into account the last move that was used and whether it would KO the opposing the Pokemon.
  • Because of the recoil damage, Brave Bird should only be used to net KO’s that Liquidation can’t.
  • Due to its lackluster bulk, Swanna’s lacking Roost should refrain from switching into opposing attacks.
  • Swanna should be wary of Pokemon that use Priority and resist Aqua Jet such as Shiftry. (Shiftry twice in the same section is redundant. Probably fine to just mention here as opposed to scarf in line 1)
Team Options
========
  • Swanna appreciates Pokemon that can set entry hazards and chip its checks and counters, so Pokemon like Golem and Mareanie make for great partners.
  • Because Swanna is weak to Stealth Rocks, it appreciates Pokemon that can remove them such as Silvally-Fighting, Silvally-Dragon, and Komala. (Same comment as before on Silvally forms in general for removing hazards and a one liner on why Fighting and Dragon specifically are good)
  • Electric-type Pokemon threaten Swanna, so Pokemon that are immune to Electric-type attacks such as Electivire, Golem, and Raichu.
  • Physical wallbreakers such as Shiftry and Choice Band Komala can weaken Pokemon like Bronzor and Altaria so Swanna has an easier time cleaning late-game
  • Other late game sweepers such as Komala, Muk, and Combusken pair well with Swanna due to their combined offensive presence. (Same comment as Komala. Preferably have at least one special late game sweeper here such as Chatot/Mime/Something else to play off eliminating each others checks)

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
  • A Choice Scarf set may be run to outpace other Choice Scarf users like Electivire and Chatot, but it’s often out classed by other Choice Scarf users in ZU. (Mention that Swanna scarf loses to Evire 1v1 unless the Evire is reasonably damaged and include leafeon as a scarfer that Swanna can Ohko)
  • Swanna can utilize a defensive set consisting of 248 HP and 232 Speed with Leftovers to better check Monferno and Combusken.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Electric-type Pokemon**: Pokemon such as Raichu, Electivire, and Zebstrika all heavily threaten Swanna due to their STAB Volt Switch. (If Volt switch specifically add that they heavily threaten and maintain momentum vs Swanna)

**Specially Defensive Pokemon**: Pokemon such as Lickylicky, Komala, and Bronzor wall Swanna and threaten out Swanna in return. Moreover, Muk can use Swanna as set up fodder and effectively boost itself. However, all of these Pokemon should be wary of Swanna’s Z-Mirror Move set.

**Revenge Killers**: Swanna does not appreciate taking much damage due to its poor bulk. Revenge killers that wield a Choice Scarf or have access to priority are often troublesome for Swanna. Some of these Pokemon include Shiftry, Abomasnow, Mr. Mime, and Chatot. (Kecleon should get a mention here)
Good job on this sorry we've been delayed. PM me if you have questions and I'll get back to you on Ice Beam slash. Go ahead and put this into paragraphs

[OVERVIEW]
Swanna has cemented itself as one of the best offensive Flying-types in the tier due to its great offensive typing. With access to Defog, Swanna becomes undoubtedly the best offensive Defogger ZU has to offer. Because of its Water- and Flying-type Combination, Swanna can viably run a variety of different Z-moves which makes it a struggle to check. In addition, Swanna has access to an above average Speed tier which lets it out speed and threaten the likes of Silvally-Fighting, Monferno, and non-Choice Scarf Mr. Mime. Mention Pinsir and/or Leafeon instead of Mime here. Unfortunately, Swanna suffers from poor defensive stats, so it must rely on prediction when switching into common hazard setters and offensive Pokemon alike, such as Crustle, Pinsir, Kecleon, and Golem. Because of its average offensive stats, Swanna is forced to rely on Hurricane or Z-moves in order to wall break properly. This restricts how aggressive Swanna can be.In addition, Swanna’s primary Flying STAB, Hurricane, suffers from poor accuracy. You mention Hurricane's accuracy in Set Comments so you can probably remove it here to not be repetitive.

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========
Hurricane and Scald are Swanna’s most effective moves. allowing it to take advantage of its fantastic STAB combination. Roost gives Swanna the ability to restore its health after Life Orb recoil and Stealth Rocks Damage. Furthermore, thanks to Roost, Swanna can repeatedly check Pokemon such as Floatzel, Silvally-Fighting, and Monferno.

Set Details
========
Flyinium Z allows Swanna to bypass Hurricane’s low accuracy. Life Orb is used to boost Swanna’s damage output, however, the recoil damage is often detrimental when coupled with Stealth Rock damage. Big Pecks allows Swanna to avoid Defense drops which helps Swanna better check Floatzels that use Liquidation.

Usage Tips
========
Swanna’s main goal should be to act as a wallbreaker taking advantage of physically defensive walls such as Tangela, Gourgiest-XL, and Mareanie as well as slower offensive Pokemon such as Leafeon, Silvally-Fighting, and Oricorio. Remove Mareanie as an example since SpDef Mareanie is increasingly more common now. Swanna can switch into Pokemon it is able to threaten such as Monferno, Gourgiest-XL, and Silvally-Fighting. Swanna should take the opportunity to remove hazards when it forces switches. It is important to utilize Roost in order to maintain Swanna’s longevity when checking Pokemon like Floatzel and Monferno. Swanna's relatively low special attack stat means it struggles to break specially defensive Pokemon such as Lickylicky, Kecleon, and Bronzor without super effective move, so it's best to switch into physcial wallbreakers to better handel them. Swanna’s Z-move is best used to net KOs when it doesn’t want to risk a Hurricane miss. Furthermore, Z-Hurricane can also be used to remove weakened defensive Pokemon such as Silvally-Water and Pyukumuku.

Team Options
========
Swanna pairs well with Pokemon that appreciate hazards removed like Abomasnow, Combusken, Rapidash, and Pinsir. Physical wallbreakers such as Machoke, Komala, and Shiftry can threaten specially defensive walls like Lickylicky and Kecleon that are able to wall Swanna. These Pokemon also appreciate Swanna’s ability to check Golem, Gourgist-XL, and Silvally-Fighting. Electric-types such as Electivire and Machoke appreciate Swanna’s ability to threaten Ground-types like Golem, Silvally-Ground, and Marowak. Swanna hates opposing Electric-types so Pokemon immune to Electric-type attacks like Golem, Electivire, and Raichu all pair well it. Swanna appreciates Pokemon with entry hazard support such as Golem, Mareanie, and Probopass. In return, Golem and Probopass appreciate Swanna’s ability to check Fighting-types. Because Swanna is weak to Stealth Rocks and cannot switch into most hazard setters comfortably, it often appreciates a second hazard remover such as Silvally-Fighting, Silvally-Dragon, or Komala.

Scald may be used over Surf so that Swanna is able to threaten physical attackers with burn chance. Z-Rain Dance allows Swanna to gain +1 Speed boost as well as activate its ability, Hydration. Swanna has the option to run Ice Beam over Roost exclusivly for Altaria.

Set Details
========
Waterium-Z is necessary to boost Swanna’s speed in cleaning situations, however, it can also be used to boost Swanna’s selected Water-type STAB by turning it into Hydro Vortex if the speed boost is not needed. However, Scald’s Z-move is much weaker than Surf.

Usage Tips
========
Swanna’s main role is to act as a late-game sweeper so it is best to preserve it until it has a clear opening, or its checks and counter are weakened. The choice between using Z-Rain Dance or Hydro Vortex should be assessed based on whether Swanna needs a Speed boost in order to sweep. Under rain, Hydro Vortex can be used to catch some opposing weakened specially defensives walls off guard such as Bronzor, Lickylicky, Assault Vest Komala, and Kecleon. Ideally, Roost should be used on predicted switches in order to maintain Swanna’s HP, allowing it a greater chance of completing its sweep. With the +1 Speed boost, Swanna outpaces and KOs common Choice Scarf users such as Chatot, Leafeon, Pinsir, weakened Electivire, and weakened Silvally. Swanna should be wary of priority users such as Shiftry, Kecleon, and Pawniard as they ignore Swanna's Speed boost and abuse its low defenses.

Swanna pairs well with Pokemon that appreciate entry hazards removed like Abomasnow, Combusken, Rapidash, and Pinsir. Physical wallbreakers such as Machoke, Komala, and Shiftry can threaten specially defensive walls like Lickylicky Lickilicky and Kecleon that are able to wall Swanna. Swanna hates opposing Electric-types, [AC] so Pokemon immune to Electric-type attacks like Golem, Electivire, and Raichu all pair well it.

Moves
=========
Scald may be used over Surf so that Swanna is able to threaten physical attackers with a potential burn chance. [previous is unnecessary] Z-Rain Dance allows Swanna to gain a +1 Speed boost as well as activate its ability, Hydration. Swanna has the option to run Ice Beam over Roost exclusively for Altaria.

Set Details
========
Waterium Z (RH) is necessary to boost Swanna’s speed Speed in cleaning situations; [comma --> semicolon] however, it can also be used to boost Swanna’s selected Water-type STAB by turning it into Hydro Vortex if the Z-Move is much weaker than Surf.

Usage Tips
========
Swanna’s main role is to act as a late-game sweeper, [AC] so it is best to preserve it until it has a clear opening [RC] or its checks and counters are weakened. The choice between using Z-Rain Dance or Hydro Vortex should be assessed based on whether Swanna needs a Speed boost in order to sweep. Under rain, Hydro Vortex can be used to catch some opposing weakened specially defensives walls off guard such as Bronzor, Lickylicky Lickilicky, Assault Vest Komala, and Kecleon. Ideally, Roost should be used on predicted switches in order to maintain Swanna’s HP, allowing it a greater chance of completing its sweep. With the +1 Speed boost, Swanna outpaces and KOes common Choice Scarf users such as Chatot, Leafeon, Pinsir, a [don't make this change] weakened Electivire, and weakened Silvally formes. Swanna should be wary of priority users such as Shiftry, Kecleon, and Pawniard, [AC] as they ignore Swanna's Speed boost and abuse its low defenses.

Team Options
========
Swanna greatly appreciates entry hazard support in order to weaken some of its checks and counters, so [RC] Pokemon that can set hazards such as Golem and Mareanie all make for great partners. Because Swanna is weak to Stealth Rocks, Pokemon that can remove hazards such as Komala and a multitude of Silvally formes are all excellent options. Silvally-Fighting in particular (RC) makes for a fantastic option because it isn't weak to Stealth Rocks and because of its ability to pressure Golem and Probopass. Swanna often finds itself pressured by Electric-type Pokemon, so [RC] Pokemon that are immune to Electric-type attacks such as Raichu, Electivire, and Golem all make for good partners. Swanna can synergize well with other physical late-game (add hyphen) sweepers like Muk, Pinsir, and Combusken by eliminating each others' (add apostrophe) defensive checks. Physical wallbreakers such as Choice Band Komala [RC] Shiftry, and Combusken, and Choice Band Komala [original wording implies that Shiftry and Combusken run Choice Band] are all able to pressure Pokemon that wall Swanna such as Bronzor, Vigoroth, and Kecleon.

Moves

Z-Mirror Move gives Swanna a +2 boost in Attack and allows it to fire off the foe’s last move as a Z-Move. STAB Brave Bird sets Swanna apart from Floatzel, allowing it to hit Tangela and Gourgiest-XL. Aqua Jet offers Swanna priority, [AC] allowing it to clean if the opposing team still has a weakened Choice Scarf user. Alternatively, Roost allows Swanna to regain its health [RC] so it can maintain a threatening position. In addition, Roost allows Swanna to become a better soft check to Floatzel and Silvally-Fighting.

Set Details
========
Flyinium Z [RH] allows Swanna to use Z-Mirror Move or Supersonic Skystrike in order to clean late-game.

Usage Tips
========
Swanna should be primarily used as a late-game cleaner, so potential threats and walls should be removed such as Choice Scarf Electivire, Pawniard, Pyukumuku, and Silvally-Water. Before using Z-Mirror Move, take into account the last move that was used and whether it would KO the opposing the Pokemon. Because of the recoil damage, Brave Bird should only be used to net KOs (remove apostrophe) that Liquidation can’t. Due to its lackluster bulk, Swanna’s lacking Roost should refrain from switching into opposing attacks. Swanna should be wary of Pokemon that use priority and resist Aqua Jet such as Shiftry.

Team Options
========
Swanna appreciates Pokemon that can set entry hazards and chip its checks and counters, so Pokemon like Golem and Mareanie make for great partners. Because Swanna is weak to Stealth Rocks, it appreciates Pokemon that can remove them such as a multitude of Silvally formes and Komala. Silvally-Fighting is one of the best options due to its resistance against Stealth Rocks and ability to check Pokemon such as Golem, Probopass, and Pawniard. Other late-game [AH] sweepers such as Mr.(add space) Mime, Muk, and Combusken pair well with Swanna due to their combined offensive presence.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
A Choice Scarf set may be run to outpace other Choice Scarf users like Electivire, Pinsir, and Leafeon, [AC] but it’s often out classed by other Choice Scarf users in ZU. Unfortunately, Choice Scarf Swanna loses to Electivire 1v1 in a matchup unless the Electivire is signifcantly significantly weakened. Swanna can utilize a defensive set consisting of 248 HP and 232 Speed with Leftovers to better check Monferno and Combusken.

Checks and Counter
===================

**Electric-type Pokemon**: Pokemon such as Raichu, Electivire, and Zebstrika all heavily threaten Swanna due to their STAB Volt Switch. Volt Switch users in particular are an issue because they are able to maintain momentum agianst Swanna against your team.

**Specially Defensive Pokemon**: Pokemon such as Lickylicky Lickilicky, Komala, and Bronzor wall and threaten out Swanna and threaten out Swanna in return. Moreover, Muk can use Swanna as set up setup fodder and effectively boost itself.

Some of these Pokemon include Shiftry, Pawniard, Mr. Mime, Chatot, (AC) and Kecleon.

[OVERVIEW]
Swanna has cemented itself as one of the best offensive Flying-types in the tier due to its great offensive typing. With access to Defog, Swanna becomes undoubtedly the best offensive Defogger ZU has to offer. Because of its Water- and Flying-type combination typing, Swanna can viably run a variety of different Z-Moves, which makes it hard to check. In addition, Swanna's above-(AH)average Speed tier lets it outspeed and threaten the likes of Silvally-Fighting, Combusken, and non-Choice Scarf Pinsir and Leafeon.

Moves
========

Set Details
========
Flyinium Z allows Swanna to bypass Hurricane’s low accuracy. Life Orb is used to boost Swanna’s damage output; however, the recoil damage is often detrimental when coupled with Stealth Rock damage. Big Pecks allows Swanna to avoid Defense drops, which help Swanna better check Floatzel that use Liquidation.

Usage Tips
========
It is important to utilize Roost in order to maintain Swanna’s longevity when checking Pokemon like Floatzel and Combusken. Swanna's relatively low Special Attack stat means it struggles to break specially defensive Pokemon such as Lickilicky, Kecleon, and Bronzor without a super effective move, so it's best to switch into physical wallbreakers to better handle them. Swanna’s Z-Move is best used to net KOs when it doesn’t want to risk a Hurricane miss. Furthermore, Supersonic Skystrike can also be used to remove weakened defensive Pokemon such as Silvally-Water and Pyukumuku.
