Swearing

Hi I'm relatively new and I was wandering if there are any boundaries in place to restrict swearing as I don not like the use of such language. Many a time have i been a victim of swear words for no reason or because i use air slash and iron head, I am wondering if there is any prevention mechanism of swearing for Pokemon showdown as in a battle I was repeatedly a victim of swearing at even though I politely asked the person to stop. Then after the battle he went on chat and swore some more at me. If there is a prevention mechanism for verbal abuse could u let me know if not i think it would be great for one to be implemented thank you.

Swearing in general is not illegal on showdown. However IF someone is being rude to you directly, whether in battle or PM try the /ignore feature.
