Gorebyss @ Lum Berry
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 SAtt / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Nature: Modest
- Shell Smash
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- HP Grass

You don't see Gorebyss much outside of a Rain Dance/Drizzle team, but this thing is an incredible sweeper after one Shell Smash. Surf can OHKO a giant amount with 716 SAtt and stab boost. Ice Beam takes out all the grass types and nearly all the flying types. HP Grass can OHKO a Vaporeon after one boost and 2KO a Jellicent (Burungel). Lum Berry is to stop Paralysis and Hypnosis. You would think White Herb would be better, but once you get set up, there are few Pokémon outside of Ninjask, Electrode, and scarfed Pokémon that can outspeed it. It gets walled by Taunt Aerodactyl, so at that point, it'll come down to luck on whether it chooses to use Stealth Rock or Taunt. Also, Gorebyss might get walled if the user has a Focus Sash. Outside of these, Gorebyss sweeps a wide variety.

466Electivire.png

Electivire @ Balloon
Ability: Motor Drive
EVs: 252 Att / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Nature: Adamant
- Cross Chop
- Earthquake
- Ice Punch
- ThunderPunch

This is just your typical Electivire. If I predict an electric move coming to my Gorebyss, I will switch to Electivire and get a free speed boost.

Miltank @ Chople Berry
Ability: Herbivore
EVs: 252 Att / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Nature: Jolly
- Return
- Zen Headbutt
- Earthquake
- Brick Break / Hammer Arm / ThunderPunch

If I predict a grass move coming to my Gorebyss, I will switch to Miltank and get a free attack boost. This gives my Miltank the power and speed to OHKO or 2KO many times. Return is there for stab. Zen Headbutt is to do damage against those pesky Gengars. Earthquake is there for coverage. I have Brick Break as the last move for now, but I'm thinking about changing it.

212Scizor.png

Scizor @ Occa Berry
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Att / 252 SDef / 4 HP
Nature: Adamant
- Swords Dance
- Bullet Punch
- Superpower
- Bug Bite

This is your typical Scizor. Occa Berry has saved me many times from Flamethrower, but I know better than to leave him in there against a Fire Blast or Flare Blitz. Swords Dance is there to up its attack, Bullet Punch is there to deal good damage, and Superpower is there for coverage. Bug Bite is for additional stab.

248tyranitar.png

Tyranitar @ Life Orb
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 Att / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Nature: Jolly
- Dragon Dance
- Rock Slide
- Crunch
- Fire Punch

You've all seen countless Tyranitar sets by now, so this is pretty standard. Dragon Dance is there to up its speed, Rock Slide and Crunch are there for stab, and Fire Punch is there to take out steel walls. Of course, he gets destroyed by most fighting moves, and I have come to accept that.

Excadrill (Doryuuzu) @ Balloon / Shuca Berry
Ability: Sand Throw
EVs: 252 Att / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Nature: Jolly
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- X-Scissor

In a Sandstorm, this Pokémon can be pretty broken. I use Swords Dance to up its already high attack, then Earthquake for stab, Rock Slide for coverage, and X-Scissor to take out Starmie and others. If Item Clause is in effect, I'll switch out Balloon for Shuca Berry.

My team is not perfect, but I have won more than I have lost. Any suggestions are welcome.

For Tyranitar use Stone Edge, rock slide is just horrible if you have a nice delicious Stone Edge. Get rid of Doryuuzu and replace it for Landlos. His performance is MEH. Everyone knows how to counter him, but Landlos is trickier

Miltank is just meh. Maybe a Azumarill?

About Gorebyss: I wouldn't use it as a starter because it is easily taunt without speed.
I don't see +2 HP Grass OHKO Varpoeron, unless someone is going hell offensive. An option would be baton pass to pass the boosts to Electivire or Miltank (and even using it mixed), but that's your decision.

Try Mental herb (now cancels Taunt) on Gorebyss over Lum Berry. Also consider Baton Pass over a coverage move - if something looking to hit you with a grass or electric move comes in you can easily give Electivire or Scizor free boosts due to their resistances/immunities, not to mention Electivire in particular would love the speed and attack boosts with its awesome coverage and not quite being able to OHKO a lot of things.

Try Mental herb (now cancels Taunt) on Gorebyss over Lum Berry.

Mental Herb now cancels Taunt? Thanks for the advice. As far as Baton Pass goes, Gorebyss can OHKO most everything, and it usually can't stand up to a hit on the first turn if it is super effective, so I'd rather just predict switch than Baton Pass.
