Swine flu hitting everywhere

Pssh, Swine flu is a piece of media fueled bullshit.

Wow, It's all over now. Who would have guessed? Only anyone with an IQ higher than the average dinner table.

While I agree that it was very much media fueled, that doesn't mean the threat wasn't/isn't real. It very well could have mutated into something deadlier, so it was good that action was taken when it was. Whether or not that action actually had any effect is up in the air, but at least something was done.

While people shouldn't have gotten in such a panic over it, there could have been a very real reason to panic if things had been different.
