I am in the minority but I can't stand nintendo doom anymore
I want to be excited for the console but no there's nothing but people complaining about prices.... 1/5 Videos on my youtube feed are calling for action to trash nintendo and never support them ever again. It is actually so exhausting.
Video game discourse is so bad.
On twitter it is even more kuso. Even saw people making jokes about how they aim to mangione the nintendo CEO!
What the hell is the matter with people?!?!? Are death threats just acceptable just because a man named luigi did it? But in this case, its just a matter of an commodity being overpriced and not a CEO who let thousands of americans die by his own negligence and greed.
God and don't even get me started on the BLATANTLY wrong information spread around. There were talks of 90$ games, 100$ games, etc. etc.
The next nintendo console in 8 years and it's just a ticket tape parade of DOOM. I fucking hate the internet of today.

The preorder actually went well for me btw. Now I am less concerned with the prices but storage space…
Want to play Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut for sure but I looked and it’s like 50GB of storage on a 256GB console. Okay, just buy physical? Nah, it’s one of those digital game cards only so you still need like 40GB of space. If it’s like that for every game that’s going to suck balls. I know there’s the microSD express card but that’s also only 256GB. I bought a good amount of games digital on my Switch 1 and I think the highest storage one was like 20GB? Idk man, might be a bitch to transfer everything over. Sigh.

I wish we lived in a world where gamers demanded hard enough that AAA game studios don't ship 50gb+ of poorly-compressed game assets that it on its own was enough to financially shock AAA games companies into stopping shipping 50gb+ of poorly-compressed game assets.
I need the american empire to collape in flames or something before they announce smash 6 because idt ill be able to take it when they say the price if current trends keep up
