- Sylveon appreciates Fire-Types ability to take out Steel-Types, while they like her ability to take out Heatran with Hidden Power Ground.
- She also like Ground-Types like Hippowdon to take out Fire-Types that resist Hyper Voice and to tank physical attackers that Sylveon can not survive.
- Fighting-Types can take down Bisharp, while Sylveon can take down Pokemon that wall those Fighting Types.
- Sylveon benefits from Psychic and Flying-Types, which can take on Poison-Types that Sylveon dislikes, while a Steel-Type with a Fire-Type move can do the same job.
