- Sylveon appreciates Fire-Types ability to take out Steel-Types, while they like her ability to take out Heatran with Hidden Power Ground.
- She also like Ground-Types like Hippowdon to take out Fire-Types that resist Hyper Voice and to tank physical attackers that Sylveon can not survive.
- Fighting-Types can take down Bisharp, while Sylveon can take down Pokemon that wall those Fighting Types.
