Syria

Assad's been using chemical weapons continuously since at least last year. He probably assumes that if it didn't cause any problems then, it won't suddenly start causing problems now.
The more assumptions you have to make, the more unlikely an explanation is. There's a lot more logical reasons to NOT use chemical weapons in this instance than there are for using them.
Regardless, the OPCW delegation went to Douma today. We'll know what it ended up being soon.

So... some people believe that the chemical weapon report was being faked?
Why would they fake it? Just because they want to use some missiles?

Yes. Much like the weapons that we swear existed in Iraq back in the day. The US government often lies in its reports to the media in regards to the military and the media mostly does not question it.

I remember the Iraq thing.
At the time, most of the Chinese media didn't believe that Iraq had those weapons.

But this time, with Syria, the Chinese media didn't take sides.

as long as ww3 doesn't happen anytime soon, i am staying neutral... please Trump, stay out of situations that don't involve you. sometimes it's good to not be part of events...

I believe that Syria has already been effectively resolved in Assad's favor. The USA has ceded any form of influence on the region, all the way back when they fired all their diplomats and didn't replace them. That region operates on Russia's terms now, and Russia is backing Assad.
