Terra met Skadi near Snowpoint city, in Sinnoh. She was a rescue Pokemon that helped lost travelers get through the harsh temperatures of the region. Skadi is always up for a challenge and ready to act, and her mockeries sting as much as the icy wind of Sinnoh.

Oolong belonged to a noble family, acting as their servant before he went with Terra for a change. He was the best in the entire region for brewing tea, infusing the leafs just the right amount of time at the right temperature. He was renowned all over the region for his famous oolong tea, that gave him his name.

Oolong takes great pleasure in cooking (and brewing tea of course) for the whole group, and everyone appreciates his food (even though Genesis refuses to admit it's better than her own).

He is very great friends with Skadi, with whom he often organises hot beverages tastings. They often argue over which beverage is the best, but in the end they all come along and brew tea and hot cocoa for everyone, asking them which is the best.

Six Pokémon at once? I don't know if I can keep up with this... *sigh* I guess I'll have to give it a try.

All three of Zelfie's Pokémon immediately go on the offensive, chasing down and surrounding Panurge before striking; however, the attacks just bounce off the Steel-type's body! Meanwhile, TorterraX's Mienfoo gathers some energy and creates a rock wall that scrapes painfully against Precious for a lot of damage. Gabriel takes his time to... sing a song? Strangely enough, his musical bleating seems to inspire his teammates, warding off bad status conditions.

Realizing their mistake, Zelfie's Pokémon turn to find a new target. Oolong hops in the air to avoid any attacks from the ground, and succeeds in avoiding Starborn's Psychic attack. Chaos begins to glow in the meantime. Is he planning something? We find the answer as he cuts through the air and slices into the Mienfoo with a masterfully executed Aerial Ace! Precious turns her psychic powers to attack the singing Gabriel, but as she does so, Oolong strikes her from the sky with a Bounce attack! What a technique-- it even left the Bug-type paralyzed! Panurge summons some wisps that home in on Chaos's body, burning him.

We saw more Pokémon avoiding damage than dealing it this round, but the combatants seem very eager to do the latter. What types of moves will we see next time?

The second round begins with the nimble Oolong jumping into the air before landing behind Precious and punching her so hard, her Lucky Egg falls to the ground! Instead of gathering it, however, she glares at the Mienfoo with something supernatural in her eyes, and the Fighting-type is suddenly in the air again-- this time against his will! Starborn focuses her energy on the yellow and purple figure as well before both Pokémon slam him into the ground! It looks like Gabriel's Light Screen prevented the attacks from having their full effect, fortunately for the recovering Mienfoo, but he's still injured pretty badly. Chaos tries to take advantage of this with another Aerial Ace, but his attempts, spirited as they may be, are held back by his burned status and the Reflect that Gabriel sings up. Panurge sneaks up before further damaging Precious with a formidable Phantom Force attack, leaving a large black mark on the injury.

TorterraX's Nohface tries to finish off the Cupra, but Chaos intercepts the fellow Ghost/Steel type with his own Shadow Sneak. Panurge fights off the pain, though, and extends his shadow across the Cupra's body, KO'ing it! Oolong even hits the fainted Cupra with another Bounce. Why did he do that? Has he encountered Cupra that pretended to faint before attacking him? Who knows? Anyway, Starborn begins to form a fireball in her tiny mouth, but Gabriel's Thunder Wave attack prevents her from completing it.

The score is four Pokémon to three! Will TorterraX press the advantage by ordering second, or can Zelfie make a comeback? We'll find out next round!

Murk wastes no time making his presence known as he assembles a sphere of dark energy and blasts it at Panurge! The attack, although weakened by the Light Screen, still knocks back the Steel-type. As Oolong scrambles underground to dodge any future attacks from the gaseous Pokémon, Gabriel finally turns away from his teammates and fires a mysterious ray from the bulb on his tail. The beam envelops Murk, disorienting him. Surprisingly, it turns out that even an underground foe doesn't deter Chaos from attacking-- he slices into the ground, striking the Fighting-type with a Shadow Claw before re-emerging. Starborn tries to follow in her teammate's footsteps, but she can't locate the underground Oolong. Panurge suddenly disappears before striking in sync with Oolong, taking their opponents by surprise.

Zelfie's Gastly tries to attack his Ghost-type opponent again, but the Shadow Ball he forms spins out of control and hits him instead! Oolong bounces up again as though he's on a spring, maintaining his balance even after Chaos hits him with another Aerial Ace (which is followed by another Psychic miss by Starborn). After this, Gabriel shoots out a small jolt of electricity at Murk. The attack does no damage, but it paralyzes the Poison-type, slowing him down. As Oolong prepares to descend onto Murk, Panurge hits him with a powerful Payback that disperses him for just a second. The paralyzed, injured Gastly is unable to avoid Oolong's Bounce attack, and he ends up taking a lot of damage even though this is his first round on the field.

So far, it seems that TorterraX's strategy of using Gabriel to support his other two Pokémon has worked pretty well! Can Zelfie's Pokémon fight through burns and paralysis to turn this one around?

At the beginning, the round seems to be going just as the last ones did, with TorterraX using Zelfie's need to finish off his Mienfoo to waste time by using moves like Bounce and Protect while Gabriel hinders his opponents' ability to attack and Panurge begins an attack of his own. However, Zelfie has changed her tactics this time: After all three of her Pokémon are paralyzed, she orders Starborn to use Aromatherapy. Despite the Star Shape Pokémon's tiny size, she fills the whole side with a fragrant scent, and besides the dispelling of paralysis, Chaos's burn is also healed, making him a threatening presence once more. The attack Panurge is waiting for never comes, and his attack is strong but halfhearted. Murk offers him a balloon that suddenly explodes into shadows, doing lots of damage!

Oolong seems to have had enough of dodging attacks: Knowing full well he'll be targeted this round, he bravely strikes Murk just after a mysterious shadow passes over the Gastly. Although the attack is unable to perform its main purpose of disarming an enemy, the Knock Off still knocks out the Ghost-type! Gabriel refreshes his team's Light Screen, while Chaos goes for an Aerial Ace on Oolong, doing significantly more damage. One more attack and the Fighting-type will be down! Starborn tries to lure her target into taking a nap, but Gabriel's Safeguard prevents him from getting tired.

What an exciting struggle! I can't wait for the next round!

Oolong goes for yet another Dig attack, and the cured Chaos tries to cut him off yet again. Gabriel attempts to guard the Fighting-type, but he can't concentrate enough to form a barrier around him. On the contrary, Chaos is completely unfazed by the evasive move, and just as the Mienfoo tries to surface, he is finally defeated by the Honedge's Aerial Ace attack! Panurge brutally strikes the Steel-type in return, though, dealing lots of damage with the super effective hit. Despite its high Defense stat, the Honedge took a big hit there! Starborn uses Aromatherapy again, inspiring Chaos to try his best in future actions.

Panurge maliciously goes for a sneak attack against Chaos, but this time he can't deal much damage. Gabriel shields his team from retaliation with a Reflect, partially blocking Chaos's Shadow Claw; Starborn tries to use Psychic, but is similarly unsuccessful due to Gabriel's soft fur, providing a light landing even as he is forcefully slammed into the ground.

A minor oversight by TorterraX led to a drastic change in the battle, and now he has to order first with one less Pokémon! Can he use his 3-2 lead to his advantage, or can Zelfie pull something off?
