Talonflame

I know that the Fletchling line learns Tailwind by level-up. However, when I tested it, only ONE parent (the Ducklett) knew tailwind. Both knew Roost. Fletchling can learn both Roost and Tailwind through level-up. Level-up moves are only passed down when BOTH parents know the move. Please correct me if I'm wrong or this has been changed in gen 6. My understanding of the breeding mechanics may not be as clear as they were a few months ago, but I don't believe that I've forgotten everything, even with all the new changes in gen 6. Practically the only thing I did in gen 5 was egg abuse.

Anyway, Night Slash and (rather obviously) Heart Stamp are NOT egg moves. I don't quite remember for certain, but Agility is also part of the no-go list.
Probably because Tailwind is a level-up move for Fletchling. It's possible the breeding mechanics were overhauled this gen, though. One change I know of is that now either parent can hold an everstone to pass down their nature.

Both parents have been able to pass down their nature since (I believe) HGSS. I am not 100% certain, since I never played those games. I only played a little bit of Diamond. Also, that would be an interesting change if breeding was changed this gen to be able to pass down level-up moves w/o both parents knowing it.

Anyway, looks like Talonflame got the short end of the egg move stick. It seems that none of the good (or any, really) flying-type moves can be passed down.
I also tested a few other moves from a few different families, and nothing came of it. Still want to test a few, notably Farfetch'd.

Serebii has listed Quick Guard, Snatch, and Tailwind as egg moves, requesting confirmation on first two.

quick guard was easy enough to test; i can confirm fletchling gets quick guard from archen.

i'm not really sure how you could get snatch right now; everything i see that learns it in the flying egg group gets it from the bw2 tutor lol

Has anyone tried these for egg moves yet?

-Beat Up
-Play Rough

-Sucker Punch
-Counter

No idea if they are, but I'm just hoping for the best.

Confirming that Fletchling gets Snatch as an egg move by breeding with a Pokemon that learned it through the Move Tutor or TM in past games, such as Murkrow. Thanks to Agonist/Chauzu for providing the needed Pokemon to confirm this.
