===================
Tapu Koko utilizes its high Speed and access to U-turn to act as a strong offensive pivot. Its Electric Terrain-backed Thunderbolt can quickly wear down opposing teams. Heavy-Duty Boots is the best item choice due to it keeping Tapu Koko healthy in the face of entry hazards, allowing it to come in more frequently and pivot. Its access to Roost, which lets it consistently check Arghonaut and Tornadus-T, as well as its ability to pivot on Ground-types with U-turn both set it apart from Zeraora as an offensive Electric-type.
Tapu Koko is best used on teams that appreciate its ability to keep momentum against Corviknight and Arghonaut. Strong wallbreakers like Kyurem, Dragapult, and Kartana all appreciate being brought in by Tapu Koko. Heatran is a great teammate for its ability to trap Galarian Slowking as well as bait in Ground-types and inflict Toxic on them. Jumbao appreciates Tapu Koko being able to pressure Corviknight and in return threatens Ground-types with Leaf Storm. Landorus-T and Corviknight are good options as consistent switch-ins to Ground-types. Galarian Slowking itself can be a good teammate, as Tapu Koko can take advantage of Future Sight against teams relying on Corviknight as their Psychic resistance. Entry hazard support from Arghonaut, Astrolotl, Ferrothorn, and Skarmory is valuable for chipping Galarian Slowking, making it less consistent as a counter.

===================
Calm Mind turns Tapu Koko into a strong late-game wincon due to its blazing Speed. The Special Defense boosts given by Calm Mind allow Tapu Koko to be less bothered by faster Pokemon like Choice Scarf Jumbao and Dragapult. Heavy-Duty Boots is the preferred item to ensure that Tapu Koko is fully healthy when it gets sent out to attempt its sweep. Leftovers is an option to increase Tapu Koko's longevity and allow it to more easily boost through Galarian Slowking's poison from Sludge Bomb, though Leftovers should be paired with consistent entry hazard removal. Magnet is another option to OHKO specially defensive Toxapex at +1 in Electric Terrain; however, the lack of longevity when using Magnet is noticeable.
Heavy Slam Heatran is a notable partner for Calm Mind Tapu Koko in that it can trap and KO Galarian Slowking. Tapu Koko also enjoys having Pokemon like Corviknight, Landorus-T, and Tornadus-T as teammates, as they can help mitigate Tapu Koko's inability to break through Ground-types. Strong wallbreakers like Urshifu-R and Dragapult are good choices for teammates, as they can weaken the enemy team to the point where Tapu Koko can sweep. Tapu Koko appreciates Spikes support from Arghonaut or Astrolotl for chipping Hippowdon and Galarian Slowking into range of its boosted attacks.

Set Details
===================
Tapu Koko is a great addition to hyper offense teams as a dual screens setter. U-turn is used to pivot out to a sweeper once screens are up. Taunt is run in order to disallow Defoggers like Tornadus-T and Corviknight from removing screens.
Hawlucha is hands down the best teammate for Tapu Koko, as it utilizes Tapu Koko's Electric Terrain to activate Unburden and sweep with boosted Acrobatics. Other setup sweepers like Galarian Moltres, Cawmodore, Volcarona, and Bulk Up Zeraora appreciate Tapu Koko's dual screens support. Zeraora in particular enjoys Electric Terrain temporarily boosting Plasma Fists. Tapu Koko should be paired with a dedicated entry hazard lead like Landorus-T or Mew, since Taunt allows it to keep hazards up in the face of Defoggers.
[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
===================
Tapu Koko is capable of running Choice Specs alongside Volt Switch in order to deal respectable damage while pivoting. This does, however, cause it to get chipped very quickly by entry hazards, and not being able to pivot on Ground-types is generally not worth the extra power. Toxic is an option on the pivot set to cripple defensive Ground-types, but it is generally not worth giving up Dazzling Gleam for. Grass Knot is another option on the pivot set to hit Hippowdon and Swampert super effectively, but it does not OHKO either.
Checks and Counters
===================
**Ground-types**: Equilibra, Landorus-T, Hippowdon, Excadrill, and Swampert can all come in on any of Tapu Koko's STAB moves and KO it.
**Choice Scarf Users**: Choice Scarf users like Jumbao, Tapu Lele, and Crucibelle all can revenge kill Tapu Koko. Crucibelle deserves special mention for being able to situationally switch into Tapu Koko and heal off the damage it takes with Regenerator.
**Bulky Grass-types**: Bulky Grass-types such as Ferrothorn, Tapu Bulu, and Amoonguss can freely switch into Tapu Koko. Ferrothorn is notable for resisting both of Tapu Koko's STAB moves and damaging it with Iron Barbs if it tries to pivot out with U-turn. It should be noted that Amoonguss cannot use Spore if it switches in, as Electric Terrain makes the move fail on grounded foes.
**Specially Bulky Pokemon**: Blissey and Galarian Slowking can easily switch into Tapu Koko and force it out with Toxic or Sludge Bomb, respectively.
**Cawmodore**: Cawmodore can use Tapu Koko as setup fodder.
