Taylor has become Mod

Yeah great title i know :O

Swampert (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 SAtk
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)

- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Roar
- Ice Beam

The best leading pokemon in my team. Sets up early Rocks, and counters all Electrics aswell as CM-Jirachi, which gave my team some trouble before. Roar because I am paranoid about BP chains since i got swept 6:0 by one. No idea about the EV spread though, I just maxed the defense to take on CB-tar. A good parter for Togekiss.

dpmba251.png

Celebi @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP/216 Def/40 Spd
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)

- Leech Seed
- Recover
- Grass Knot
- Thunder Wave

One of my favoties ever since I used it, it just doesnt die. Thunder Wave punishes quite a lot of common switchins like Azelf, Infernape or Gengar.
Leech seed is the move that makes it unique paired up with Recover. The rest is standard.

dpmba462.png

Magnezone @ Leftovers
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 160 HP/208 Spd/140 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)

- Magnet Rise
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Sleep Talk

My team had serious Problems with Forretress and Skarmory before, so I added Magnezone. Sleep Talk in the place of Sub isnt optimal, but I badly needed a sleepabsorber.

dpmba373.png

Salamence (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 216 HP/56 Atk/96 Def/140 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)

- Dragon Claw
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Roost

A great set that counters common Pokemon like Lucario, Heracross and Infernape while still keeping the pressure on the opponent. After 2 DDs it outspeeds even timid Scarf-Gengars, and opposed to Garchomp it can setup on Gliscor, what mosts opponents realise too late. Magnezone removes Bronzong and Skarmory, who otherwise wall the set completly.

dpmba227.png

Skarmory (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Keen Eye
EVs: 252 HP/176 Def/12 Spd/68 SDef
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)

- Brave Bird
- Roost
- Whirlwind
- Spikes

Generic physical wall, which helps with a few pokemon that would sweep the team else, like Garchomp and Weavile. The 66 SDef EVs are there to take Chompas Fire blasts and Mamoswines IBs/Blizzards better. Otherwise standard.

Togekiss (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP/200 Spd/56 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Aura Sphere
- Nasty Plot
- Air Slash
- Roost

dpmba468.png

My main sweeper. I have already swpt teams with that thing once i got a NP under its belt. Air Slashs flinch chance helps me to weaken Blissey to the point when it dies to Aura sphere. Together with Salamence they counter every Ape set. It sits at 246 speed to outspeed every Tar and a lot of those 244-/245ers

My problems are the lacking Spinner, a quite big weakness against properly played Starmies, Gengars, Azelfs and other fast special sweepers, and the general slowness of my team. I was considering a Weaviel somewhere, but that would force me tun replace another Pokemon with a Spinner :/

Overall pretty good team. Watch out for Mix-wire tho.

Beware of triple ice and fire weaknesses. You could always replace Skarmory with Bronzong or Cresselia, or even switch Swampert with Hippowdon or Tyrannitar to take advantage of the other steel types.

Let's see here.

I can see Nasty Plot Azelf being a huge problem - Togekiss can switch into Nasty Plot but it won't OHKO with an unboosted Air Slash (and SR means Togekiss can't switch in either), and then Azelf gets a clean sweep of your team.

This is the same case with of course, Infernape.

I would honestly remove Magnezone and run Scarf Heatran instead - this solves your Azelf problem, and it also lets you revenge kill Infernape. Along with this, it also handles Forry and Skarm - who commonly carries Shed Shell anyway potentially making Magnezone a useless slot. Scarf Heatran also allows you to beat Ice Beam/S- Toss Blissey in a pinch by Exploding (barring massive Togekiss Flinch).

Bold natured Swampert? Are you just stupid? Give it Relaxed, as there is no reason to decrease his main STAB attack. You only 2HKO TTar, while being 2HKOed by CB Crunch, and DDed Black Glasses Crunch. With Bold, you just make Swampert have even less of a chance. Why not just use Torterra? It counters purely physical Tyranitar 100% better than Swampert and has access to Leech Seed and Wood Hammer, doing a lot of damage.

Overall, I am not going to finish this rate as the whole team needs to be redone, EVs and all.

blasphemy1 does have a point--Swampert should go with Relaxed, and go with the standard spread: 240 HP / 216 Def / 52 SpA.

In addition, the scarftran over magnezone is a good idea, and if you decide to go that route just use this

Heatran@Choice Scarf
Flash Fire
Modest
EVs: 4 HP, 252 SpAtk, 252 Spe
-Earth Power
-Fire Blast/Flamethrower
-HP Ice
-Explosion

Contrary to the analysis, I would max out speed as shown, so as to outspeed other Modest Scarftran.

Though Scarftran switches in to "counter" Skarmory and Forry, they usually get that switch-in turn to set up some form of entry hazard, and then switch out. Since you have no spinner, things could get ugly with repeated switch-ins by either of the nefarious steels. To combat this and still add some speed, you could be really cool and use a scarved Magnezone--though you would have to watch out for EQ on Forry. This way it does the same as Heatran (essentially), and still traps those non shed shell pokes. Heck, you could even run HP Fire on scarf Maggy for Forry, though its probably too situational and some Forry don't carry EQ anyway--and if they do it is a 2hko with the standard spread if I'm not mistaken.
