The Team
The Lead:
Machoke_k_chop.png

Manchoke @ Focus Sash
164 HP / 252 Atk / 92 Spe
"No Gaurd" Adamant
- DynamicPunch
- Protect
- Bullet Punch
- Rock Slide

This is our lead. Machoke works very well as an anti-lead in UU due to his attacks and his stats. With protect we can scout what the opponent plans on doing then switch or attack accordingly. Dynamicpunch is powerful STAB that causes confusion and quite a bit of damage. Also dynamicpunch can OHKO one of the common leads of UU, Ambipom. Rock Slide can OHKO lead Moltres and almost any other flying types we come across. Bullet Punch finishes off weakened targets and can be used as a revenge kill.

A Special Sweeper

Sceptile_Solarbeam.jpg

Sceptile @ Choice Specs
4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
"Overgrow" Timid
- Leaf Storm
- Dragon Pulse / Hidden Power [Ice]
- Energy Ball
- Focus Blast

He is a good choice for Specs because he has a high base special attack and a high base speed stat. He can easily sweep whole teams. Leaf storm can do very effective damage, due to Specs and STAB, and commonly OHKO almost any switch. Also because of his stats he can use the attack twice before he has to switch. Dragon Pulse is used to do a good amount of neutral damamge, also it can OHKO Altaria. HP Ice can also be used in it's place to help take out other grass types. Focus Blast is helpful for coverage against Steel and Ice switch ins against him.

A Physical Set-Up Sweeper
Feraligatr_Ice_Beam.png

Feraligatr @ Life Orb
4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
"Torrent" Adamant
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Ice Punch
- Earthquake

Feraligatr is one of the best set up sweepers in the UU meta-game. He can sweep an entire party with two Dragon Dances and he can also still run very effectively with just one. Waterfall is there for STAB and for flinch rate. Earthquake and Ice Punch are coverage against any switch ins he may come across.

A Special Set-Up Sweeper
Houndoom_using_Flamethrower.PNG

Houndoom @ Life Orb
4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
"Flash Fire" Mild
- Nasty Plot
- Fire Blast
- Hidden Power [Flying] / Hidden Power [Ground]
- Dark Pulse

I originally ran an Arcanine but it seemed frail and hard to set up with. Houndoom is much better because his Dark typing absorbes Psychic attacks and can be used as a switch in against Psychics used against Machoke. Flash fire absorbs will-o-wisp and any other fire attacks directed at the party, such as Sceptile. His moves speak for themselves. Nasty Plot to set up on switches. Fire Blast is for STAB as is Dark Pulse. And HP flying is for any counters the opponent may switch into. HP ground is still in testing.

Support
Claydol_rapid_spin.png

Claydol @ Leftovers
252 HP / 144 Def / 114 SpA
"Levitate" Bold
- Earth Power
- Rapid Spin
- Stealth Rock
- Psychic / Toxic

As far as UU goes, Claydol is one of the best supports in the game. He acts as both a Spinner and a Rocker. He can switch in on Earthquakes and other ground attacks. His Earth Power and Psychic both hit fairly hard even though he is actually a Bulky Defense pokemon. Also he gets STAB on both of them.

A Special Trick
Alakazam_Psywave.JPG

Alakazam @ Choice Specs
4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
"Synchronize" Timid
- Psychic
- Signal Beam
- Focus Blast
- Trick

Trick Specs is one of the best special sweepers. It cripples teams by locking them into an attack and often forcing switches. Psychic is there for STAB. Signal Beam and Focus Blast are for coverage, and Trick is to switch items with the opponent.

The only problems we have come across are that Aggron and certain stall pokemon. Any suggestions to help the team would be helpful, and we would appreciate it. =D

I would evolve your machoke for one, unless you have a reason to have it like that. Secondly having hp ice on septile will probably be a better choice then dragon pulse because it is super effective on more things but that choice isn't that big. Lastly houndoom should stay with hp flying for the coverage that the other moves don't have and you should think on having flamethrower on him to for accuracy.
