Use trick room
4. If the opponent ready for an explosion
use explosion
5. If the opponent is a rock type ,
use gyro ball
6. If none of the above are done
switch!
Problems :
1. Taunters are hell for me [though i kill the fragile ones using gyro]

Problems:
1.It just doesn't bring the same presence that golurk and Conkeldurr bring to the field. Then again , its my best defense[ahm ahm offense] against rain teams.

=======================================
==================================
Now i ll summarize the problems :
1. Good Power Resistant pokemon .
While most of these pokemon are rarely seen in the meta game , their presence can cause a lot of problems for me .
2. Pokemon that are high on defense and use Will-o-Wisp
Ever since i changed conkeldurr to iron fist , i m having this problem more and more . Being highly power intensive, my team isn;t best suited for taking on will-o-wisp users
3. Golurk v/s Conkeldurr
conkeldurr_golurk_by_theboogie-d3hp7kz.png
Not as much of a problem , my team just isnt being able to decide which is better , in many situations both seem good . Its difficult to decide , I prefer compartmentalizing >"<

Hey Bhoot I'll be the first to comment on your team.First as a side note check out my
Guide to Trick Room in BW OU
It can help you get back into the swing of things in the OU.

I can tell Bronzong is your lead most of the time. But the EVs need to be changed. You mention that Bronzong job on the team is set up Trick Room and Stealth Rock and Explode into your next sweeper. If you are going for the defensive Bronzong I would recommend this set

Bronzong @ Leftovers
Trait: Leftovers
EVs: 252 HP / 160 Def / 96 SpD
Relaxed Nature
Trick Room
Stealth Rock
Gyro Ball
Explosion

  • With these evs you can easily survive Choice Band Haxorus' Earthquake. But besides from that I would recommend you making your Bronzong more offensive. With Bronzong being more offensive you can net some crucial KOs. Terrakion seems to be becoming a new lead recently, and with Gyro Ball you can OHKO him all of the time. Bronzong can take a few hits, its not frail by any means, the Occa berry is unecessary because Infernape rarely leads in OU now. If you decide to make Bronzong more Offensive

Here is the recommend offensive set
Bronzong @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
Sassy Nature
EVs: 244 HP / 180 Atk / 84 SpD Def
Trick Room
Stealth Rock
Gyro Ball
Earthquake

  • Dusclops is terrible in OU, I'm sorry for being rude. It has no offensive presence what so ever on your team. Its merely a set up for your opponent. Cofagrigus is a perfect spin blocker for your team so two ghost on your team is uneccesary. Trick Room setters need to be offensive so they won't be set up on so I would recommend you drop Dusclops and replace him with Reuniclus. With reuniclus you can sweep 3-4 of your opponents Pokemon before Trick Room ends with no trouble. Trust me, with Reuniclus wide move pool and ability to hit more types and function better on your team you won't miss Dusclops.

Here is the set I recommend

Reuniclus @ Life Orb
Trait: Magic Guard
EVs: 160 HP / 96 Def / 252 SAtk
Quiet Nature
Trick Room
Psychic / Psyshock
Hidden Power Fire / Focus Blast
Shadow Ball

I'll explain this set for you. With 383 Special attack compared to Dusclops 186 special attack you'll see the offensive presence reuniclus brings to your team. Reuniclus is still able to set up Trick Room but he can also sweep by himself without any set from other team mates. I would go with Psychic over Psyshock because you already have COnkeldurr as your fighting type hitting Pokemon on the physical side, so Reuniclus can hit Pokemon on the special side. I can tell that steel types are a problem for your team and since Scizor and Ferrothorn are main switch ins to Reuniclus Hidden Power Fire is recommend to get the jump on them and continue to sweep. Shadow Ball is to hit other Psychic and the Starmie. Since you don't have Focus Blast Tyranitar can easily wall your Reuniclus and KO with Crunch, but you have Conkeldurr to stop him.

Your current COnkeldurr's set won't help get some crucial KOs. Guts is a far more better ability than Iron fist. With the boost from Guts and Toxic Orb, Conkeldurr's attack is double than his Iron Fist ability. With Guts your priorty Mach Punch becomes very deadly outside of Trick Room.

Here is the set I recommend for Conkeldurr
Conkeldurr@ Toxic Orb
Triat: Guts
EVs: 120 HP / 252 Atk / 136 Spd
Brave Nature
- Mach Punch
- Hammer Arm
- Ice Punch
- Facade

  • If you are going to stick with Conkeldurr I recommend you using this set with Toxic Orb. What this set does is minimizes the Toxic damage to Conkeldurr. Yes, Toxic Poison does less damage in the first 3 turns than the Flame Orb. But Conkeldurr will only last on the field for probably 4-5 turns, which just enough to be your mid-game sweeper. Hammer Arm is Conkeldurr' best STAB under Trick Room as it helps him out speed more threats under Trick Room. Drain Punch is unessacry on this set because the little HP recovery will result in you not getting some crucial KOs like Hammer Arm would. Ice Punch is here to KO Gliscor, Salamence, Landorus, Garchomp, and etc all of the time, who walled you in your other set. Facade is here to get the boost from Toxic Orb, it becomes a Base 140 attacking stat which is nothing to laugh at as it KOs Volcorano who can easily dispose of your Reuniclus.

You can keep Cofagrigus on your team but I recommend the more offensive NAsty Plot Cofagrigus. Like I said earlier, Cofagrigus isn't frail what so ever and you need your Trick Room setters to have some offensive power. With the Nasty Plot version and the correct moves you can have unresist coverage from Cofagrigus.

Here is the set I recommend
Cofagrigus @ Leftovers
Trait: Mummy
Evs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA
Quiet Nature (+Special Attack, -Speed)
Trick Room
Nasty Plot
Hidden Power Fighting
Shadow Ball

  • With his Mummy ability, nobody is smart enough to hit Cofagrigus on its physical side. So the only Pokemon that will be hitting you are Pokemon that hit on the special side. You can easilt set up Nasty Plot on Physicla attacks because they will think you will Will-O-Wisp them and after a +2 your Special Attack is already in the 500 range. So you see how offensive Cofagrigus becomes after a Nasty Plot. But the only think that walls Cofagrigus is Blissey, which is why Conkeldurr is needed to get rid of her.

  • I feel that rain teams are a problem for your team, plus rain teams are very common in OU. Golurk won't stand a chance against Politoed or any other Pokemon found on rain teams. Keldeo, the newest revenge killer for rain teams can easily KO Golurk and proceed to wreck your team. Tornadus-T can ou tspeed your whole team as well. Thats why I suggest Breloom in replace for Golurk. Breloom is by far a better Trick Room Pokemon when it comes to checking opposing rain teams. With his STAB grass moves, Politoed, Jellicent, and other bulky water types are easily taken care of. Plus Breloom has the nice move Spore which is great for setting up Swords Dance. Those are the two things that separate Golurk and Breloom apart.
Here is the set I recommend

Spr_5b_286_s.png

Breloom @ Life Orb
Trait: Technichan
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Brave Nature
- Spore
- Swords Dance
- Mach Punch
- Bullet Seed

Here are some calculations of how powerful this mushroom is after one Swords Dance. And after looking at them you can determine that Breloom is a much better sweeper than Golurk. Plus after a +2 from Swords Dance Mach Punch will be your main move on Breloom as nothing can touch Breloom. Plus Breloom grealty appreciates the Stealth Rock support from Bronzong which will allow Breloom to getting OHKO as apposed to 2HKOs.

I know this Rate might seem like me changing your whole team around, but I'm just making some suggestions that I think can help your Trick Room team out. Good luck, if you have more question just PM me.

Thanx for the reply ,

1stly , I'd like to remind you that bronzong has the ability levitate . So , its immune to ground type attacks. As such its only weakness is towards fire which oddly enough ppl tend to hit me with 1st thing . In my past 20 or matches with this team about 15 matches started off with ppl hitting me with fire moves. They tend to change their lead to a fire type upon seeing my team . (its DW OU) . 2ndly , there isnt much difference in the set i m using and the one u recommended (offensive Bronzong). just 4 evs here and there . And yes , Bronzong has been my lead for ever since i remember trying him .

The reason i prefered Dusclops over Reuniclius is because of the defense it brings to the fray . As such i have never relied on the attack stat of dusclops and use moves like Night Shade / Curse / Destiny bond for killing . Dusclops has the ability to switch in at situations where one would have lost all hope and set up that Trick Room which can net me a win . As such when I used reuniclius , I found it extremely lacking .

Now for conkeldurr , I have used mainly guts b4 and I have to agree that the old guts type was better . But with that said , I prefer thunderpunch over facade ( I know Facade does unbelievable damage ) because it hurts the pokemon named Skarmory nad Jellicent really hard . Its also really handy against rain teams . Ice Punch on the other hand allows for OHKO of dragons . As such , a STABed Hammer Arm would deal better damage that a Facade anyways . Hammer Arm v/s Drain Punch has always been a nail bitter for me coz simply put , Drain Punch increases survivability but then again , I dont need survivability as much as I need OHKOs .

Cofigarius , I agree i ll try a more offensive set .

Breloom , we meet again . I had really considered him over Azumarill initially . The reason Golurk was never questioned in my mind was Earthquake and its big barrage of punches. Upon being adviced , I perticularly cant decide which would be better . I ll try it out.

------------

P.S

I sent you links to my old TR teams [i never make a normal team :p]. I would appreciate some insight on them as well if possible .

Bronzong CAN be hit by Earthquake if it's coming from Haxorus as Sciztar said, because Haxorus has Mold Breaker which negates defensive abilities. Even if Haxorus isn't a problem for you, I would go with some extra defense instead of attack because Bronzong isn't going to be hitting very hard anyway (unless you made those EV's to get some specific KO's, in which case by all means keep them).
