Team Spitfire: An UU RMT

So I'm Insomniac and while I am new to posting, I am not new to the forums or shoddy. My team is focused on using entry hazards and quick but heavy damage to enable a specs raikou sweep. I am looking for some tips to make it about this 1100 barrier I am having. So heres my team:

Team at a glance:

Frosslass@Expert Belt
Timid (4HP/252 Spc.Attack/252 Speed)
~Ice Beam
~Spikes
~Taunt
~Thunder Wave

Ah Frosslas. A very dependable lead if played correctly. Most Ambipom and other anti leads always try to taunt me off the bat in which I go to Ice Beam for the 2KO. Spikes in obvious and greatly aides in helping Raikou sweep. Taunt is to beat slower weather leads like Jumpluff and Ambipom. Thunder Wave is mainly filler and is only used if Frosslas stays later in the game which is not often.

160.png

Feraligatr@ Leichi Berry
Adamant (4HP/252 Attack/252 Speed)
~Aqua Jet
~Dragon Dance
~Earthquake
~Ice Punch

Feraligtr. What can I say about him? He often comes in after Frosslas dies, as he resists many of Frosslas' counters. This is mainly the standard DDgatr with a few changes. I chose Leichi berry over Life orb because I found many moves left Feraligtr with a few HP while I was Dragon Dancing and +2 Attack and +1 speed usually allows me to sweep the rest of the opponent's team. Although I am starting to miss the power difference. I used Aqua Jet over Waterfall because many frail priority users think they can end my sweep with and it helps Feraligtr become my Dugtrio counter as well, who stops Raikou cold.

254.png

Sceptile@Life Orb
Hasty (88 Attack/216 Speed/206 Spc. Attack)
~Earthquake
~Hidden Power Ice
~Rockslide
~Leaf Storm

Sceptile. This is an interesting thread I found in the np thread in the UU forum. It performs very well, taking out many of its would be counters with the QuakeSlide combo and its fellow grass types with Hidden Power Ice. Leaf Storm is way too good to pass up, providing a very powerfull stab. He is my only ground resist which is bad since 4 of my pokemon are weak to Earthquake.

467.png

Magmotar@Life Orb
Naive(8 Attack/248 Speed/ 252 Spc. Attack)
~Cross Chop
~Fire Blast
~Hidden Power Grass
~Thunderbolt

A very hard hitter with a good peice of surprise factor. You would be suprised at how many people underestimate Magmotar's base 125 special attack Which is the second highest in the tier under only Alakazam and tied with moltres. While it lacks the speed of Moltres it has a few advatanges of why I use it. First, it can use thunderbolt to take down Bulky waters like Milotic. I use cross chop mainly for chansey and rock types. Fire blast is my main STAB and HP Grass of for ground pokemon with high defense, like donphan and Rhyperior.

464.png

Rhyperior@Leftovers
Adamant (136 HP/244 Attack/128 Sp.Defense)
~Earthquake
~Megahorn
~Stealth Rock
~Stone Edge

Rhyperior. This is by far the most expendable member of my team. Once it sets up stealth rock it usualy becomes dead weight because of its low speed and easily exploitable special defense. I was looking for a reliable stealth rock set upper and people were recommending Rhyperior but I found it to be consistently underwhelming. Are there and suggestions as a replacement?

243.png

Raikou@Choice Specs
Modest (4 HP/252 Speed/252 Spc. Attack)\
~Extrasensory
~Hidden Power Grass
~Shadow Ball
~Thunderbolt

The star of the show. The rest of the moves beside Thunderbolt may as well be filler as most of Raikou's checks would be taken out by the time this late-game sweeper comes in. Just to take a look at its power, this raikou soundly 1KOs Regice and 2KOs Registeel and Regirock with stealth rocks up. This thing is pretty unstopable and can end up winning me the match by itself against the opponents remaining 3 or 4 Pokemon.

So that is my team. Any comments or critiques? An UU threat list will be posted later.

To be honest I find a lack of synergy in your team. However what suggestions I would make Specs on Raikou truly is a waste. His deadlyness is truly found in his versatility. I recommed either the CM +3 Attack or sub CM having power and versatility. Next I recommend SD over DD on gatr as you want to use AJ. This will allow him to boost up faster while he is already at a decent speed to break walls. NOote frosslass is not faster then ambipom or jumpluff

Destiny Bond over Thunder Wave on Froslass, trust me. I've tried Thunder Wave and was very stubborn about changing, but Destiny Bond allows you to kill the opponent. Thunder Wave fails to compare, simply lowering their speed and giving that chance of full Paralysis. Thunder Wave could work if you were using some type of SubStatup Sweeper, where you take advantage of Full Paralysis. Otherwise just run Destiny Bond.

You're running 2 mixed attackers. On mixed sets you often sacrafice Speed or the main attacking stat for a little of the other attacking stat. You're losing either power or speed which loses you certain KO's. I usually run mixed attackers to beat stall teams, using physical moves on Chansey, special moves on Slowbro etc. I recommend dropping one of your mixed attackers and slapping on a scarf so that you can revenge things.

Your Feraligatr has absolutely no garuantee of activating that berry. Either run SubDDLefties or SubDDLiechi. This way you can grab boosts, be protected from status, and possibly, eventually activate the Liechi. I advise running Waterfall/EQ for coverage. You can muscle through UU with those moves. You will fail to hit Altaria but Altaria cannot withstand boosted Waterfalls for long.

Choice Specs Raikou, interesting. Unless you scout the entire team and clear revenge killers and Dugtrio, this thing has no chance. Being locked into Thunderbolt is asking to get set up on by Rhyperior or something like that. Also this Raikou is modest, positive base 110 speeds will outspeed and be able to hit you hard. Also, Swellow 1HKOs Raikou with Facade when rocks are in play. I highly advise you switch to SubCM, SubCM finds millions of opportunities to set up and can usually sweep after +2. You can also try CM3Attacks with LO, this way Venasaur will never stop your sweep as you can run Extrasensory.

just a quick rate. You could try a Donphan over Rhyperior if you wisked as Donphan is pretty reliable. Its unfortuate that many other SR users such as Steelix, Registeel give your team and extra fire weakness for a totar of 3 fire weakness.

If you change to donphan still make Gatr a SD with Aqua jet. You lose the speed however at least this way you can do nice damage to moltress who threatens much of your team.

I decided to put Rhyperior in the lead position where he performing much better. I changed Feraligtr to SD with LO and Raikou to SubCM. I dropped froslass for scarf rotom so I can keep the ghost resist and revenge kill.

In that case may I suggest Rock Blast on Rhyperior?
This may seen very odd however having faced it myself it is very annoying. Rock Blast is used to hit Frostlass and then break through the sash on the second hit.

frosslass doesn't outspeed ambipom and it speed ties with jumpluff.

and expert belt as an item when it only has one attack? what is the point in that? lead frosslass needs a sash so it can get up 2 layers against slower leads without priority and or 1 layer and dbonding the lead.

Magmortar wants 84 Atk and 272 Spe, otherwise just replace Cross Chop with Focus Blast since its a waste of a slot.

Froslass wants Focus Sash or a bulkier spread and Leftovers.

Giver Feraligatr a Life Orb.

Use CM/T-Bolt/Extrasensory/Hidden Power [Grass] or [Ice] on Raikou @ Life Orb.

Your team is super duper stall weak, so you may want to put in something that can spread around status.

Lastly, if you are going to put up Spikes, invest in a bulkier Froslass set or replace something for a spin blocker. Actually, just invest in a spin blocker since you don't have wish support for Froslass to come in all the time.

This team seems to lack synergy which is probably why you are having trouble, you have nothing to absorb toxic spikes, which you probably want, a.k.a. replace Sceptile with Venusaur, Rhyperior is also fairly bad and outclassed in UU especially without a Rapid Spinner since you have two SR weak pokemon that will most likely be forced out of play. Be wary of Ambipom leads with Froslass, as many carry Pursuit now a days because of the common-ness of Froslass.

Why Expert Belt on Froslass when you only have 1 special attack?
Focus Sash would be much better in my opinion.
Dragon Dance + Waterfall it better
OR
Swords Dance + Aqua Jet

This team lacks synergy and the movesets are simply off.

Froslass has way better sets it can run. Suicide or offensive leads are a lot better.
~Spikes
~Taunt
~Destiny Bond
~Ice Beam / Shadow Ball
item: Focus Sash
nature: Timid
evs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe

or

Froslass (F) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Snow Cloak
EVs: 4 Def/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Spikes
- Shadow Ball
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt

Liechi berry on DD Feraligatr? He wants life orb.
Naive on Magmortar when SpD is a actually good? (95)

Magmortar wants 84 Atk and 172 Speed
I hope you mean 172. He doesn't really need it as 24 attack ev's are just enough to 2HKO Chansey 100% of the time.

~Cross Chop
~Fire Blast
~Thunderbolt
~Hidden Power Ice
item: Life Orb
nature: Mild
evs: 24 Atk / 252 SpA / 232 Spe

run this set.
