Charizard (M) @ Charizardite X
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Fire Punch
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
This is a set slightly more risky than the last. Swords Dance doubles the attack, but does not provide the boost in speed outspeedare useful to many Pokémon (especially at this time when almost all of the Mega Evolutions received an upgrade in speed.). Flare Blitz is too risky in this set, so I recommend opting for Fire Punch (with over 700 attack does not work so bad), and ragartigli earthquake. Being easier to outspeedare, it is better to have set more offensive as possible to OHKOare the largest possible number of Pokémon.
Suicune @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Scald
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
Ever since its inception during the ADV era, Calm Mind + RestTalk Suicune has remained one of the most popular sets in the entire game. However, the main reason why this set is less viable than it has been in the past is the change in Sleep mechanics that happened during the generational transition. This change, which forces it to stay in for three turns straight if it ever wants to wake up from its nap, has essentially taken most of Suicune's utility away, as it can no longer be used as an effective defensive pivot in the early-to-mid stages of the game. However, CroCune, as this set is affectionately known as, is still one of the more difficult late-game sweepers to deal with, as its tremendous bulk and ability to steadily boost its stats through Calm Mind, make it nigh-impossible to 3HKO. Scald is the primary STAB move for this set due to its handy 30% burn rate, making it even harder to break Suicune.
Thundurus-Therian @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Volt Switch
- Focus Blast
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Grass Knot
Thundurus-T is a unique Choice Scarf user. It outruns two Pokemon more commonly used for the role, Jirachi and Salamence; by extension, it revenge kills just about everything they do, namely Dragon Dancers such as Dragonite and Haxorus, and in general fast Pokemon such as Keldeo and Terrakion. Another perk it has is the ability to keep momentum in its team's favor by using Volt Switch on a predicted switch. Volt Switch has STAB.
Excadrill (M) @ Air Balloon
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
- Stealth Rock
- Rapid Spin
Thanks to its excellent ability, Excadrill's Speed doubles in sandstorm, allowing it to outspeed every non-Choice Scarf user in the game. If using a Jolly nature, Excadrill hits 604 Speed, while with Adamant, it sits at an impressive 550 Speed, still enough to outspeed Deoxys-S, the fastest unboosted Pokemon in the game. A +2 STAB Earthquake will dent anything not resisting it, and even support Groudon takes a hefty 61.6% - 72.8% from Jolly Excadrill, a sure 2HKO. Iron Head is the primary option, as it can OHKO Giratina-O at +2 if it does not invest in bulk, and it also provides a strong neutral move to use against Gliscor and Grass Arceus. Rapid Spin can also go in the last slot as Excadrill makes a fantastic offensive Rapid Spin user, its Steel typing giving it a natural immunity to Toxic Spikes and a resistance to Stealth Rock, and Air Balloon granting it immunity to Spikes.
Roserade (F) @ Black Sludge
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAtk / 252 SDef
Calm Nature
- Sleep Powder
- Rest
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
Rather than attacking prowess, this set focuses on Roserade's above-average Special Defense and ability to lay hazards reliably. Even uninvested, Roserade's Special Attack is fearsome. Giga Drain is a reliable STAB that keeps Roserade's HP in supply alongside Black Sludge, and Sludge Bomb allows Roserade to provide a slight offensive pressure while having a 30% chance to poison opponents, helping to bring walls down. Rest is a last-ditch attempt to patch up Roserade's HP if Giga Drain and Black Sludge aren't getting the job done. Natural Cure also allows Roserade to heal itself of sleep upon switching out, and keeps it healthy. Rest can be used put Roserade to sleep.
Conkeldurr (M) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk
Adamant Nature
- Drain Punch
- Knock Off
- Ice Punch
- Mach Punch
Drain Punch is this set's primary attack, backed by STAB and a Assault Vest boost while recovering Conkeldurr's HP. Conkeldurr often takes repeated hits due to its low Speed, and Drain Punch offers a relatively strong STAB attack and a means to recover the lost HP Conkeldurr takes from boosting up. Mach Punch compensates for Conkeldurr's low Speed and provides a means to pick off weakened foes, and with such a high Attack stat, Conkeldurr hits quite hard with it. Ice Punch is used for its excellent type coverage in tandem with Conkeldurr's STAB moves, disposing of common checks such as Gliscor, Celebi, Dragonite, and Landorus-T, among many other Fighting-type resistant Pokemon. Knock Off is good for Type Ghost.
What do you advise me? Who should I put in the place of Roserade?
