Temple Run

Level 8 as well, with 5 gems, and two lifetimes achievements to get, once I hit level 9 this will be a chore >_>

High score of ~10.5 mil

EDIT: Same objectives as DM and Jimbo

My high score is 11.7mil and I have over 70 gems saved up that I never use. I have the same achievements sitting there as Jimbo. I'd have to play for hours every day for months to hit those, this sucks. Fun gone.

While I didn't like the first installment, i figured i'd try Temple Run 2 anyways and i fucking love it. I don't know about a glitch abuse and i'm going to keep it this way, it'd ruin the point of the game entirely. I actually slide under everything i can slide under, because when jumping, you can't decide when to land, but when sliding, you can jump anytime. (for example, if there's a fire breathing gargoyle and a gap in the road right afterwards, you might jump in the hole) I'm currently only level 8 iirc, i guess i'm not that addicted to it :P

My record is 6.5mil, but i think i could beat it quite easily if i actually focused once 9.9.

I disagree with vintagebooks about the minecart parts. The reaction time you need can be almost nihil, but the controls are much smoother and easier to handle. (I hate it when i scratch an itchy spot while in a minecart and then a wooden beam appears...)

The powerup i usually have activated is Boost. IDK why, i just like it.

also i swear this game has a built in troll AI. When i had to do the 'The Spartan' mission (1mil without powerups), it kept giving me powerups on places i had to jump... Or when they put a river right after a spiky roll machine thing... That requires goddamn perfect timing.

Does unlocking/playing with other characters actually have a benefit besides unlocking new powerups?

i'm on the 1mil lifetime meters, 10mil points one run, 5k coins one run objectives. I personally don't like the objective difficulty. I'd prefer if they added more creative, but easier ones. for example 'Grab all the coins on a minecart track' or 'Use your powerup 100 times' stuff. I don't like how they just keep the same objectives but increase the numbers. This is one of the reasons I enjoy(ed) Subway Surfers so much.

Lastly, at how many points do you guys prefer not grabbing a gem in order to not commit suicide? WHen does the run start to get 'serious'?

I can never get past the objectives that require u to run x meters without collecting any coins like there seriouslY HAS to be some big secret behind it ughhh
You can ofte see the placement of coins before you even make the corner. If you don't, jump just as you make the corner, that'll give you a bit more reaction time if the coins are right there.

Have you powered up your powerups yet? Unlike the save me function that is actually an investment.

Holy fuck what an addictive game. I'm a little afraid of playing it more cause I could see the minutes turning into hours very quickly!

I have shield/coin/boost all maxed out, the rest are pretty close. It's taking forever to get coins in TR2 as opposed to TR1 when you could just use magnet to get x3 on every coin.
