TerraFirma vs. CaptainKishimoto (Warstory)

This battle took place on ShoddyBattle and this is also my first Warstory. Technically this was my first complete ShoddyBattle (the past 3 battles my opponent left half way through). I got really screwed in the beginning since I forgot to give my Mismagius among other things...

TerraFirma sent out Electrode.

Electrode used Thunder Wave.
Scizor is paralysed! It may be unable to move!
Scizor used U-turn.
Electrode lost 95% of its health.
CaptainKishimoto switched in Mismagius.
---

Anyways, from what I remember, Electrode boasts some pretty intense speed, but thats about it. So I thought I may as well just get Mismagius in here to do some CM'ing.

Electrode used Thunder Wave.
Mismagius is paralysed! It may be unable to move!
Mismagius used Calm Mind.
Mismagius's special attack was raised.
Mismagius's special defence was raised.
---

So right about here I find out that my poor Mismagius only has 3 moves, and only one of them is an attack (Thunderbolt). It still didn't change my plans to CM though.

Electrode used Thunderbolt.
Mismagius lost 22% of its health.
Mismagius used Calm Mind.
Mismagius's special attack was raised.
Mismagius's special defence was raised.
Mismagius's leftovers restored its health a little!
Mismagius restored 6% of its health.
Electrode used Thunderbolt.
Mismagius lost 18% of its health.
Mismagius used Thunderbolt.
It's not very effective...
Electrode lost 48% of its health.
TerraFirma's Electrode fainted.
Mismagius's leftovers restored its health a little!
Mismagius restored 6% of its health.
---

6-5

I finally fight back with a Thunderbolt, but I didn't think I was going to get anywhere with a Mismagius that only had one way to defend herself. I was just really hoping that he/she didn't have a ground pokemon.

TerraFirma switched in Dugtrio.
Dugtrio used Sucker Punch.
But it failed!
Mismagius used Will-o-wisp.
Dugtrio was burned!
Dugtrio was hurt by its burn!
Dugtrio lost 12% of its health.
Mismagius's leftovers restored its health a little!
Mismagius restored 6% of its health.
---

Well this sucks, the one pokemon type I didn't want. However I didn't think that Dugtrio is strong enough to take her out, so I WoW'd her.

CaptainKishimoto switched in Milotic.
Milotic was trapped!
Dugtrio used Stone Edge.
Dugtrio's attack missed!
Dugtrio was hurt by its burn!

TerraFirma switched in Cresselia.

Cresselia lost 26% of its health.
Cresselia's leftovers restored its health a little!
Cresselia restored 6% of its health.
---

After I swapped in my Milotic to try and KO her Dugtrio, I get quite the surprise...I really hate fighting a Cresselia, as do alot of people. So I swapped in my Scizor who knew Night Slash.

CaptainKishimoto switched in Scizor.
Cresselia used Thunder Wave.
But it failed!
Cresselia's leftovers restored its health a little!
Cresselia restored 6% of its health.
---

That move saved my Milotic from being Paralyzed, and you can't double paralyze a pokemon =]

Cresselia used Reflect.
A barrier was formed!

---

Well I got shafted. First I get owned by the paralyze, then she's swapped back out for the Dugtrio. I guess I'll just let out all my frustration on that clown mole.

Dugtrio used Earthquake.
Scizor lost 32% of its health.
Dugtrio lost 10% of its health.
Scizor is paralysed! It can't move!
Dugtrio was hurt by its burn!
Dugtrio lost 12% of its health.

I'm up by two, so things were looking pretty good from here. I was hoping Cresselia would make another surprise entry, but...

TerraFirma switched in Salamence.
Salamence's intimidate cut Scizor's attack!
CaptainKishimoto switched in Milotic.
Salamence used Dragon Pulse.
Milotic lost 52% of its health.
Milotic's leftovers restored its health a little!
Milotic restored 6% of its health.
---

So my opponent sends out Salamence, in which I quickly counter with my Milotic. However she takes a huge hit, and I'm fairly sure that Salamence's speed is faster than that of Milotic's...However I was hoping that he would be scared because alot of Milotic's have Ice Beam, and although mine did have it, I was pretty sure he was going to switch it up. Therefore I tried my luck with Hypnosis.

TerraFirma switched in Cresselia.
Milotic used Hypnosis.
Cresselia fell asleep!
Cresselia's leftovers restored its health a little!
Cresselia restored 6% of its health.
Milotic's leftovers restored its health a little!
Milotic restored 6% of its health.
---

I was right, and Hypnosis worked as well! Thinks couldn't have been better, but apparently I get a brain lapse and try to DD with my Tyranitar than try to finish it with my Scizor.

A sandstorm brewed!

Mismagius is buffetted by the sandstorm!
Mismagius lost 6% of its health.
Mismagius's leftovers restored its health a little!
Mismagius restored 6% of its health.
---

So far so good, so now it's all a matter of not being screwed by paralysis so that my CM will take effect.

Mismagius is paralysed! It can't move!
The sandstorm rages.

Mismagius lost 6% of its health.
Mismagius's leftovers restored its health a little!
Mismagius restored 6% of its health.
---

This is about where I REALLY wish that my Mismagius had HP Ice, but noooo stupid ShoddyBattle didn't warn me about this shit. So I just hope that his Salamence will feel the burn.

TerraFirma switched in Heracross.
Mismagius used Will-o-wisp.
Heracross was burned!
The sandstorm rages.
Heracross is buffetted by the sandstorm!

Heracross was hurt by its burn!
Heracross lost 12% of its health.
---

5-4

Okay, I don't know if most Heracross' have Pursuit, but this was a huge wake-up call for me. Then again, I think she was going to die anyways. Back to killing Heracross.

---

So Cresselia makes her appearance once again, but again at the worst of times. Fortunately, I remembered that Cresselia is asleep, so I take advantange of the situation.

Garchomp used Swords Dance.
Garchomp's attack was sharply raised.
Cresselia is fast asleep!

Cresselia is buffetted by the sandstorm!
Cresselia lost 6% of its health.

Skarmoy uses Whirlwind and now I'm back with Garchomp. At this point, the only pokemon that could take out Skarmory was Arcanine. However I don't want to reveal my last pokemon just yet. So I attempt on killing Skarmory the old fashioned way.

Well this was a nice surprise, I managed to kill his Heracross. Now he only had 2 pokemon left: Skarmory and Salamence. Of course, I was expecting Skarmory, since it'd be kind of weird if your last pokemon was a wall.

Use a HP calculator for the IVs? It's really not hard. Other than that, I thought it was a decent warstory. Nice job.

I was very bothered that your Garchomp doesn't know Fire Blast or at least Flamethrower. What was its last move anyway... I know it had Earthquake, Dragon Claw, and SD. Hopefully not Outrage.

boy it's sure a good thing that you "saved Milotic from being paralyzed." i thought this was meh

Yeah, I agree, you probably should have let it get paralyzed to activate Marvel Scale..

AND you burned his Heracross. That was really... stupid. :/

You should also read up on movesets a little more before you write a warstory.. the fact that you didn't expect a Specsmence and Heracross to have Pursuit is a little concerning
