I got

English Genius

You scored 100% Beginner, 100% Intermediate, 100% Advanced, and 80% Expert!

You did so extremely well, even I can't find a word to describe your excellence! You have the uncommon intelligence necessary to understand things that most people don't. You have an extensive vocabulary, and you're not afraid to use it properly! Way to go!

Thank you so much for taking my test. I hope you enjoyed it!

... despite English not being my first language.

Can you do better?

You scored 93% Beginner, 93% Intermediate, 87% Advanced, and 80% Expert!

And English is my first language. I assume I dropped points on stuff like "He had [passed/past]" where I tried to think like it was a foreign language and thought about construction of the past tense, so I assumed it was past, since that is the past participle of to pass. Eh, in English everything sounds the same anyway.

You scored 100% Beginner, 100% Intermediate, 100% Advanced, and 93% Expert!

I don't understand how you can get 93% when there are 10 questions in a section... must be an option that is semi-correct or something.

I really screwed this one up. I'm 15 and Dutch and should have done better.

You scored 100% Beginner, 79% Intermediate, 87% Advanced, and 67% Expert!
You have an extremely good understanding of beginner, intermediate, and advanced level commonly confused English words, getting at least 75% of each of these three levels' questions correct. This is an exceptional score. Remember, these are commonly confused English words, which means most people don't use them properly. You got an extremely respectable score. Thank you so much for taking my test. I hope you enjoyed it!

English Genius

You scored 100% Beginner, 100% Intermediate, 100% Advanced, and 93% Expert!

Wow, I did not expect to do so well, my english is pretty shitty. I failed in 5th form!

Though checking the answers I am certain I got all the expert questions right, so I guess either I clicked a wrong button, or 100% on expert is impossible.

[edt] - same as mcgraw, maybe this confirms my theory about it being impossible. Ok, I did it again and got 100% so I dunno, I must have clicked something wrong.

Have a nice day.

English Genius
You scored 100% Beginner, 100% Intermediate, 100% Advanced, and 93% Expert!

Maybe the 93% comes from one of the questions where there's two options (word / word), and only one of the two was correct. Or if Hipmonlee is right, perhaps it's a "bug".

Advanced

You scored 86% Beginner, 93% Intermediate, 87% Advanced, and 73% Expert!

Not too bad I think :)

You scored 100% Beginner, 100% Intermediate, 100% Advanced, and 73% Expert!

Could've done better I guess. Heh.

Hmm.. not so good...

Inter-Advanced

You scored 71% Beginner, 100% Intermediate, 87% Advanced, and 53% Expert!
You have a good understanding of intermediate and advanced commonly confused English words, getting at least 75% of the intermediate and advanced level questions correct. The puzzling part of your test result is the fact that you only answered 75% or less correct in the beginner section. Fascinating.

I will now achieve to attempt to learn more better.

I did worse than I thought.
English Genius

You scored 93% Beginner, 100% Intermediate, 93% Advanced, and 87% Expert!

For a math nerd who can't write term papers, not bad.

i did pretty good considering i dont care aboutthe written language at all.
You scored 86% Beginner, 86% Intermediate, 73% Advanced, and 80% Expert!

15. He did not deserve the __________ because he cheated.
a. medal
b. meddle
c. metal
d. mettle
The correct answer is medal.

this question was pretty ambiguous. i put meddle cause i wasnt even thinking about a medal like in a race. i saw it more of cheating in a relationship sense. like maybe there are problems are at home a guys wife has been cheating on him behind his back. so whats he do? he goes behind her back and starts cheating on her! but he gets caught and she starts meddling with him. its like wtf, we are you giving him shit because youve been cheating on him for years you fucking whore!

swear to god thats how i looked at that question.

also for those inquiring how you can get off percents, as per the blog which reveals the answers (http://shortredhead78.blogspot.com/)

"This is how it works: I wrote the questions, and I assigned points to each correct question. The program (or whatever it is called) on OKCupid calculates your score based on your answers and the points that I assigned to each answer. Sometimes its calculations are wrong, giving you 0% when you answered all of them correctly in reality. I am very sorry about this; however, there is nothing I can do about it! That is one of the main reasons I created this blog - so you can check your answers. Please don't get mad at me and post the fact that OKCupid scored your test wrong.

Additional Information on Pointing: Some questions receive 1 point while others receive 2. The points for each question are listed in the Answer Key. That is how you can receive a score of something other than a multiple of 10 in a 10-question section."

so some questions can give out multiple points such as:

40. His frequent rude remarks don't __________ me because I know it is just a passing __________.
a. faze / faze
b. faze / phase
c. phase / faze
d. phase / phase
The correct answer is faze / phase.
Points: a=1, b=2, c=0, d=1
Definitions:
faze - v. disturb the composure of
phase - n. a temporary manner, attitude, or pattern of behavior

I didn't do very good but I'm not a prodigy like most of you are. I'm happy my results even though the test seemed fairly easy.
