Heracross is proving himself quite well, despite facing off against Cyphre-Absol's multiple super-effective attacks. Using a Substitute to ward of hypothermia, Heracross even tricked Cyphre-Absol with it as a decoy to be ripped apart by Bouncing claws before dealing a terrible blow with a charged-up Ace Horm Attack. However, the combo is quite draining, and Cyphre-Absol still has enough fight in him to perhaps KO the strong beetle by wearing him down against dual SE STABs... Though Simon does have to pray that Guts doesn't start activating from the Fire Blasting, or it'll go downhill again from there...

Even though the order rends his heart, he called out. "Perish Song, Cyphre! Then Pass the Baton to Duke-Hariyama!" From the looks of it, even Faylion blanched as Cyphre left behind something more - a Mean Look that traps Anon-Kabutops in, doomed to faint as the mental pressure slowly increases to breaking point. Will the ancient reaver Pokemon find a way out of the impossible, or will Duke-Hariyama follow him to a bitter end?
