Welcome to the Almost Any Ability Open!​

Tournament Rules:
  • General tournament rules and regulations.
  • OM Grand Slam X information.
  • The banlist for this tournament is the same as the Almost Any Ability ladder on the Smogon University server of Pokemon Showdown, and can be found on Smogon's strategy dex.
  • Best of three, single elimination.
  • If metagame changes occur during the middle of a round, they will take effect in the subsequent round.
  • Battles must take place on Pokemon Showdown!.
  • S/V cartridge win conditions are in place; there are no ties.
  • Replays are required from Round 2 and beyond. Play on https://smogtours.psim.us/ to ensure that your replays are automatically saved.
In addition to earning points for the OM Grand Slam, this tournament is also part of the OM Tour Circuit and awards points based on how well you do.

i'm not against a billion byes in r1 (this happens in fgc double elimination tours with 2^x+2/4/6 people, where x equals number of rounds in winners, and no one complains), but then you can just not tag us if we're basically all playing in r2. it kinda sucks to be told "ok now you have to wait a whole week for these four people to play" when the losers of the two matches in question are also gonna have to wait a week.

also according to this bracket that makes kinetic top seed. congrats, it's your tour to lose!
