No, no, it wasn't a Smogon post. It was a link someone posted on this site about how to win at competitive games, any competitive game, not just Pokemon, by having the right mindset.

I remember reading the first part and not understanding much, so i gave up x(

Yes, it probably was Obi.As far as I can remember, it was about using everything available. It compared two people, one who used the best stuff, and one who used mediocre stuff because he thought only rubbish people had to use the best stuff. The guy with the better stuff one, because it was better stuff, and the article wassaying something along the lines of: don't go for fancy tricks are using bad characters so you appear good, just try to win.At least, I think that was roughly it. That's why I wanted to find the rest of the article.
