Natural Gift gives you a fighting move that should catch would-be Dark counters off guard, and it gives you a speed boost to boot. From there, Stockpile up defenses to BP them away. Shadow Ball gives you a counter to other ghosts (good luck with that, though), while Recycle lets you try NG Fighting again or get a speed boost that can be passed.

I didn't even think of natural gift. Good idea, now I might try Drifblim again.
 
196 atk with NG and Salac has a good chance to 1hko Weavile doesn't it? (I'm getting 97.5%-114% in a calc) That'd be a sad day for that Weavile's trainer.

NG right off the bat and start using Sub thereafter. Using recycle at low HP makes the salac activate immediately, giving you something to pass if your sub has broken.

Who wants to bet that if you switch out without the Salac you can't recycle it back later? (Does anybody know?)

Damn them for not giving Driftblim Fling, although, that'd make this too easy.
 
The thing about Drifblim that bothers me is that it can't do anything except Baton Pass, and even then, I seem to have a very low success rate with it, because stuff just hits too hard and Drifblim's defenses are pitiful. I don't see the point in using a slot on your team for a sub-par Baton Passer like Drifblim (who will, realistically, usually only be passing a berry boost and a Sub if you're lucky) when you could just use Ninjask instead, who is pretty much fool-proof other than Sandstream and the occasional Skarm. And the things that Jask passes are much better than what Blim passes, namely Swords Dances and an automatic +2 speed in just 2 turns.
 
drifblim needs only little bit of ev focus in hp, needs 252 in speed, and the rest distirbuted among defenses, and needs timid nature. salac will work best to pass it on. hypnosis, sub, then bp, or sub till u get salac then bp.

90 Sp.Atk + Calm Mind + Petaya Boost + Unburden + 120 HP subs = scary.
