The Battle Spot Tournament

Introduction

This is a tournament based on Battle Spot, one of Pokemon XY's in-game battle modes, and Gamefreak's main singles metagame. This tournament will operate according to the standard 3v3 Singles mode, where three Pokemon are chosen out of six in your party to battle the opponent.

General Rules

General tournament guidelines apply
Standard Battle Spot 3v3 Singles rules apply (Take care, these have major differences compared to standard Smogon XY OU rules)
Aegislash, (Mega) Blaziken, (Mega) Mawile, Mega Lucario, Mega Gengar, and Mega Kangaskhan are all legal.
Event-exclusive Pokemon such as Celebi and Jirachi are banned, as well as Yveltal, Xerneas, Zygarde, and Mewtwo, and Pokemon that are not obtainable in Generation VI.
