Dragapult @ Choice Specs
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Shadow Ball
- U-turn
- Flamethrower / Hydro Pump

[SET COMMENTS]
Choice Specs Dragapult functions as a good wallbreaker and anti-offense tool thanks to its combination of a blistering Speed stat, fairly reliable STAB moves in Draco Meteor and Shadow Ball, pivoting thanks to U-turn, and coverage to deal with some of its checks. U-turn allows Dragapult to chip down its few checks in Dark-types like Mega Tyranitar attempting to Pursuit trap it and Ting-Lu attempting to set up entry hazards. Flamethrower punishes pesky Steel-types like Melmetal, Ferrothorn, and Kingambit trying to check Dragapult, while Hydro Pump lets Dragapult deal significantly more damage to its other major checks in Mega Tyranitar, Ting-Lu, and specially defensive Heatran.

Fighting-types like Zamazenta and Swords Dance Iron Valiant are great teammates for Dragapult, as they easily take on the Dark-types that plague Dragapult while appreciating its ability to break through physical walls like Corviknight and Gliscor in exchange. Steel- and Fire-types like Mega Scizor and Volcarona also fit well alongside Dragapult, as they offer a key resistance to Fairy-type moves from the likes of Choice Scarf Tapu Lele and Booster Energy Iron Valiant aiming to revenge kill Dragapult. Entry hazards set by the likes of Gliscor, Ferrothorn, and Hisuian Samurott also help Dragapult wallbreak, as they bring its checks like Ting-Lu, Mega Tyranitar, and Kingambit into range of being KOed by a Hydro Pump or Flamethrower, respectively. Great Tusk provides a great entry hazard control option thanks to Rapid Spin, allowing Dragapult to come in more frequently to throw off its attacks while appreciating Dragapult bringing it in on Dark-types thanks to U-turn.

Choice Specs Dragapult functions as a good wallbreaker and anti-offense tool thanks to its combination of a blistering Speed stat, good STAB options moves word choice, options implies it can choose what STABs it gets in Draco Meteor and Shadow Ball, pivoting thanks to U-turn, and good coverage to deal with some of its checks. U-turn allows Dragapult to take advantage of its few checks in Dark-types like Mega Tyranitar attempting to Pursuit-trap it also chips them down pretty significantly especially tinglu. Flamethrower burns <= word choice again, this implies ur fishing for the 10% burn pesky Steel-types like Melmetal, Ferrothorn, and Kingambit trying to check Dragapult and either deal massive damage, set hazards, or trap and remove it with Pursuit, while Hydro Pump lets Dragapult deal good chip damage its other major checks in Mega Tyranitar, Ting-Lu, and specially defensive Heatran.

Fighting-types like Zamazenta and Swords Dance Iron Valiant are great teammates for Dragapult as they easily take on the Dark-types that plague Dragapult while appreciating its ability to break through physical walls like Toxapex, Great Tusk, and Gliscor in exchange. Steel- and Fire-types like Mega Scizor, Volcarona, and Mega Charizard Y all also fit well alongside Dragapult, as they offer a key resistance to Fairy-type moves from the likes of Choice Scarf Tapu Lele and Booster Energy Iron Valiant aiming to revenge-kill Dragapult. Entry hazards set by the likes of Gliscor, Ferrothorn, and Hisuian Samurott all also help Dragapult wallbreak, as they bring its checks like Ting-Lu, Mega Tyranitar, and Kingambit into range of being removed by a Hydro Pump or Flamethrower respectively. Finally, hazard removal options such as Great Tusk pair well alongside Dragapult, since Dragapult hates hazards cutting down into its longevity and gains more entry opportunities to fire off its strong attacks when hazards are off the field.

Choice Specs Dragapult functions as a good wallbreaker and anti-offense tool thanks to its combination of a blistering Speed stat, good STAB moves in Draco Meteor and Shadow Ball, pivoting thanks to U-turn, and good coverage to deal with some of its checks. nitpick but this is kinda repetitive, “good” isnt really needed here as filler adjectives where you can either replace them w more specific adjectives or remove them entirely U-turn allows Dragapult to take advantage of and chip down its few checks in Dark-types like Mega Tyranitar attempting to Pursuit-trap it and Ting-Lu attempting to set up entry hazards. Flamethrower punishes pesky Steel-types like Melmetal, Ferrothorn, and Kingambit trying to check Dragapult and either deal massive damage, set hazards, or trap and remove it with Pursuit, unnecessary elaboration while Hydro Pump lets Dragapult deal good chip significantly more damage its other major checks in Mega Tyranitar, Ting-Lu, and specially defensive Heatran.

Fighting-types like Zamazenta and Swords Dance Iron Valiant are great teammates for Dragapult as they easily take on the Dark-types that plague Dragapult while appreciating its ability to break through physical walls like Toxapex, Great Tusk, and pult cant break thru pex and tusk isnt staying in on pult, id say smth like corv is more relevant Gliscor in exchange. Steel- and Fire-types like Mega Scizor, and Volcarona, and Mega Charizard Y chary isnt ever paired w specs pult all also fit well alongside Dragapult, as they offer a key resistance to Fairy-type moves from the likes of Choice Scarf Tapu Lele and Booster Energy Iron Valiant aiming to revenge-kill Dragapult. mention how they pressure the steels that check pult Entry hazards set by the likes of Gliscor, Ferrothorn, and Hisuian Samurott all also help Dragapult wallbreak, as they bring its checks like Ting-Lu, Mega Tyranitar, and Kingambit into range of being removed by a Hydro Pump or Flamethrower respectively. Finally, hazard removal options such as Great Tusk pair well alongside Dragapult, since Dragapult hates hazards cutting down into its longevity and gains more entry opportunities to fire off its strong attacks when hazards are off the field. rewrite this section, make it more clear how tusk alleviates pult’s issue with hazards and add how pult can pivot off dark types to tusk
