Heh, y'know, Mothim isn't completely outclassed. It's really the only bug there that has the chance to go completely mixed with 94/94 attacking stats. It has quite a deadly U-Turn coming off of 300+ attack, and it has a great special movepool.

The big problems with Mothim lie in the fact that it is incredibly slow and has an awful physical movepool outside of U-Turn...remember that though. Mothim is probably the best completely mixed bug there.

Its stats suggest a mixed set, but its movepool definitely doesn't. All you get is Return, Aerial Ace, Natural Gift, and U-Turn for decent physical moves, and U-Turn isn't really an attacking move, it's primarily for scouting.

That is true, but for Venomoth, not Butterfree. Just because Butterfree was good "back in the days of RBY" does not mean that it is good now. Venomoth completely outclasses it.
