Introduction.

Hello everybody,XenoBlade911 here welcoming you to my next RMT which is called the Champs (couldn't think of a better title). This team has been pretty successful but when I made it I thought it was gonna suck but my thought were all wrong.I went 8 matches without losing and my current record on my test account is 24-5 which I think it's pretty dang solid.

Scolipede @ Focus Sash
focussash.png

Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 252 Spd / 248 HP / 8 SDef
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Protect
- Megahorn
- Baton Pass
The lead of this team:Scolipede. Scolipede is a MUCH better baton passer than Ninjask as it has better type, all right defenses, base 100 attack on this gen,it doesn't have a quad weakness to Stealth Rocks and has access to a poweful STAB in Megahorn.Anyway I use thi set to start off a match and attempt to get a Swrods Dance or Two,Protect a few turns and Baton Pass.If I come across a Taunt user like Sableye or Deoxys-Speed I can hit it with megahorn.I had Sub but with a Focus Sash it's really dumb to have that and I was complete taunt bait if it wasn't because I changed it to Megahorn. And I have jolly to acquire the maximum speed possible and to outspeed scarf Latios at +1 Speed after I use Protect. Now it might seem odd to use Sash on Scolipede but with sash I can guarantee that I will be able to set up a least one swords Dance and a Protect off (assuming there's no sandstorm or hail).

NOTE: This team is NOT based around Baton Pass.

Uranius (Medicham) (F) @ Medichamite
medichamite.png

Ability: Pure Power
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Ice Punch
- Drain Punch
- Fire Punch
- Psycho Cut

I find mega medicham to be one of the most underrated sweepers of this metagame. As I see everyone using Gengar,Kangaskhan or Charizard X.But Mega Medicham acquires close to 600 attack after huge power which is extremly powerful, even more powerfull than Diggersby or Azumarill which are 2 pretty solid pokes.Anyway the set lacks priority,it seems odd but with the speed boosts I get from scolipede I feel it's rather unnecessary as I pretty much can outspeed scarf genesect after +1 since Mega Cham acquires a solid 100 speed which can always be helpful as it speed ties with Salamence,Jirachi,Celebi,Manaphy, etc.Anyway the set is Ice Punch to hit any Gliscor because I HATE GLISCOR SO MUCH,Drain Punch over Hi Jump Kick since missing screws me over and I prefer reliability>power and recovery always helps,Fire Punch for those annoying Aegislash and Psycho Cut for another reliable STAB and critting is always a really good thing to do.Even if crits got nerfed to 1.5,it can still be a key number. And he is my primary Baton Pass receiver.

Bugs Bunny (Diggersby) @ Life Orb
lifeorb.png

Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Return
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Quick Attack
My secundary Baton Pass receiver.Diggersby is my opinion a bit better than Azumarill,it doesn't have as good HP as Azumarill does, but it has better attack stat and better speed which made choose it. After he receives the Baton Pass boost,I can choose whether to Baton Pass to Medicham or to this guy,I go to this guy in case like aFerrothorn where Ferrothorn can T-Wave my Medicham this guy cannot be T-Waved which is nice.Normal Ground is a unique type,it covers it's ground pretty well and with Huge Power+Life Orb+Adamant and at +2 it means something will die in one hit.Anyway the set is Dual STAB in the form of Earthquake and Return,Rock Slide to catch any Talonflame off guard and Quick Attack to outspeed Mega Kangaskhan's priority and Gale Wings priority (Gale Wings if I'm at least at +1).I find this rabbit to be quite underrated, maybe 'cause of it's rather low stats but Huge Power and it's relatively decent speed makes him a bit better than Azumarill (at least in my opinion).

Manana (Manaphy) @ Leftovers

Ability: Hydration
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Tail Glow
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Grass Knot
Manaphy is one of the two independent sweepers from this team.It has base 100 in all stats which might seem average but it does a lot of damage which is surprising. This little guy gets access to Tail Glow which give it +3 in Special Atk.And convined with it's decent movepool it will leave a mark on everything at +3.The set is Tail Glow and Surf for standard reasons,Ice Beam for Dragon types and that kind of thing and Grass Knot which helps against heavier pokes like Tyranitar even though I can hit it with surf.It helps mainly against Gastrodon and Quagsire which probably get KOed by it even if I didn't get a boost.

StripTease (Excadrill) @ Air Balloon
airballoon.png

Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Iron Head
The rapid spinner of this team and the last resort receiver of Baton Pass. This thing is like the best spinner of the metagame, every team (or most of them) carry either a spinner or a defog user,it is no exception for this team.I run it so my sashes don't get broken and so I don't take hazard damage nor get slowed down by sticky web users such as Galvantula and Smeargle. This team doesn't really rely on hazards to win as it mainly is Baton Passing from scolipede to either of my 3 physical sweepers. But still as I said this team is NOT based around it,as it has 2 independent sweepers.Enough of my rambling, the set is dual STAB in Iron Head and Earthquake,Rock Slide to have semi EdgeQuake combo and Rapid Spin to get any hazards off the field.

Gengar @ Focus Sash
focussash.png

Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Destiny Bond
- Sludge Bomb
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
Gengar is still really amazing, too bad the Gengarite got banned, but it doesn't really need the Gengarite to be as good as it is.I use a Focus Sash set.Yes 2 sashes seems redundant but a reason for it is that I can kill something with my secret weapon:Destiny Bond. The typical set with dual STAB with Sludge Bomb and Shadow Ball and Focus Miss Blast for really nice coverage. As I said Genngar is still such as good pokemon,it is fast, powerful and versatile. With sash I can be able to use the Destiny Bond and catch people off guard which can helps get kills on major threats.

Threats to this team:
115.png
Mega Kangaskhan:This thing can be quite the nuisance as the only reliable way of killing it is with Diggersby's quick attack assuming I predict correectly and if it gets to +2 I'm pretty much dead and will get swept.Haven't come across any of em which is nice (so far).

472.png
Gliscor: I hate this thing, the really only good ways of dealing with it is with manaphy and mega cham's Ice Punch but when those two are out of the way it will totally wall me as gengar will only do 60-70% which means it will start with the protect SPAM and it will start to annoy me.

707.png
302.png
Prankster users (mainly Sableye and Klefki): I can't stand this little fuckers, klefki spams Swagger to confuse me and knowing my luck I always hit myself and screw myself over and Sableye can completely shutdown my scolipede and burn some of my pokemon which annoys me really sick really fast.I can't stand these two.

630.png
Mandibuzz: This thing can potencially take any hit my guys throw at her and she roost or force them out with whirlwind which is EXTREMELY annoying.

Conclusion:
So that's the team I built for you guys,as always if you have any suggestions just feel free to reply below. So hope you guys enjoy reading this thread.Until next time.Peace!

I got your rate request and i finally found the best way to help this team. In the end this rate is going to be really quick.

Firstly, you can change any move of your choice on genger (probably sludge bomb or destiny bomb) and run Icy Wind. Gengar pretty much walls gliscor and you can easily defeat it if you run Icy Wind. This also allows you to get past most scarfed pokemon also, and its work pretty good on gengar anyway.

Finally just replace Diggersby with Terrakion. Terrakion revenge kills Mega Khan and can beat Mandibuzz. It does alot for you and i think it would be better than diggersby tho.
Terrakion @ Choice Band
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- X-Scissor
- Quick Attack

You can also use other terrakion sets also, as long as it has stone edge and Close Combat.

It was just a quick rate, but i did fix alot of the problems that was in your threat list. The only one i failed to be able to help you will is your problem with pranksters. I would helped with that, but i don't know what to use to fix that problem. However, I hope i helped in the end.

Hey there, got the rate request!

There are a few things that worry me -- you have no way of setting up Stealth Rock, which is huge in a metagame where it is most important. (The nerf on SR in Defog does not excuse the lack thereof of a setter IMO it's way too valuable to pass up). There are a few top threats that really pound this team -- Mega Lucario, Mega Kangs, and SD Talonflame the biggest I can see at the moment that really just beat you down. Dragon-Types look like they can run over the team, especially since Excadrill doesn't like switching into most OU Dragons (Latios can pack Sure, Dragonite and Garchomp EQ, etc.). Thundurus also looks like a pain to face if it carries Taunt.

Also, I can see a few things I can nitpick at.

Alright, time for the rate:

I really don't think Excadrill is the best thing you can be using. In fact, it just highlights Medicham and Diggersby's weakness to both Talonflame and M-Lucario, and I'm sure that it shows. You should probably switch it out for something more valuable -- like Rocky Helmet Garchomp. It can set up SR, as well as provide a solid answer to Kangs, Talonflame, and physically-based Lucario (hell, Garchomp can outrun Lucario if it hasn't yet M-Evolved since it doesn't get the speed benefits first turn, so you can outrun it and OHKO with EQ for an even more additional check to it). Garchomp also gets access to Stealth Rock, which is pretty important for any team, no matter what playstyle you plan on playing.

Next, I think you should try replacing Gengar. It seems kind've sloppily put on, and I'm not sure it fits. Without the means of removing rocks (thanks to my changes) you'll probably want to invest in something else in it's place. I was thinking you could try out Mixed Aegislash. It can tank fighting moves, but it can also act as a steel-type pivot for Dragon-STABS that are pretty hard to take (even with the new fairy types introduced).

As for my nitpicks, Scolipede should run Mental Herb over Focus Sash so you can escape Taunt from Thundurus, which is the most common way to shut down Scolipede atm.

Good Luck!

Ok.I'll answer both rates:

Well,I'm totally liking the Terrakion as it has swept entire teams so I have replaced Diggersby tho? with Terrakion but I wanted to run Life Orb as I'm not a big fan o Choice Items.

Good Luck!

Shurtugal,I am enjoying so much the Mental Herb.It has been very efficient on Scolipede as I no longer get shutdown by any sableye or any Taunt user.Sadly I need my spinner so I have to keep Exacdrill otherwise if sticky web is up I'm kind of done for and spinning is Excadrill's niche on this team

I'm quite a big fan of Aegislash as I can now switch into any Outrage or Draco Meteor with relative ease and I can also switch into Mega Kangaskhans. So I'll be keeping the Aegislash and gengar will be replaced as it wasn't really doing much for me before this your rate as it was basically a "filler" guy because I didn't knew what to put there so yeah,Aegislash stayson the team.

I'll update the thread very soon and thank you both for the rates,it was an honor asking you two.
