Has the special defense to take your hits, directly threatens you with Close Combat, can Psych Up your CMs if it needs some extra special defense to take your hits. Simple fight/dark combo.

Resists both attacks, sets up, slacks off damage, owns. Even with psych up, simply continually psychicing for the special defense drop and waiting for a ch is completely viable considering it can't hurt you at all.

Resists everything, outspeeds and OHKO's unless it uses Quick Attack which will hardley dent it. Counter this not houndoom...i beat it...

I cannot believe that there's doubt that a Heatran will survive a Quick Attack. Here:

23.53% - 27.55%

That's Muscle Banded, max attack, Swords Dance'd, Technician'd Quick Attack versus a Heatran with no Hp or Defense EVs.
