I was skeptical at first...but guess a Thick Fat Walrein does handle both...go fig. So used to running into the Stallrein variety, which really can't handle Heatran.

Lanturn @ Choice Specs
Modest nature
252 s.atk, 252 spd
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
- Surf
- HP Grass

Probably a bit different for a Lanturn set, but it resists both of Walrein's attacks and responds with a Spec'd STAB'd Thunderbolt.
 
This Regice has been here a while, so I'm going to take the easy way out.

lol switch in on anything. sd up, roost off damage, and ohko with anything.

Can set up a sub without fear of being hazed, resists your two moves, and then Tbolt for the KO.

I disagree. Don't need a Magnezone to counter a Magnezone, especially not if that Magnezone is a counter to another Magnezone.

Its a steel type and isn't going anywhere with Magnezone's Magnet Pull. Doesn't really care either, especially if it comes in on HP Fire. Magnezone will be reduced to a pile of molten steel, or just go for overkill with Earthpower. Fire Blast actually hits harder then Earthpower if it gets the Flashfire boost, assuming my math is correct (120 x STAB = 180 x flashfire = 270 * weakness = 540?).

failing to specify a nature will make me assume that this is Adamant or Jolly. EV spread will also be based on standard CB set. This is not really a counter as DPulse does 70-81% dmg. Also since you run a CB set there is no way you could outspeed ScarfedTran. So w00t this fails as a counter

There is a corollary that I ignored: Don't switch in a steel that won't die without Shed Shell.

Dug's max Speed is 372 while Modest ScarfTran can reach... 380 :/ Damn but at least it can take a Dragon Pulse with %10-15 HP left then fire an EQ which'd OHKO. but a So w00t this fails as a counter NO.

Is immune to WoW and while Nasty Plotting, all Spiritomb can hit it with is a weak NVE Pursuit. It proceeds to destroy Spiritomb with boosted Flamethrower.

Can take an unboosted attack from Blissey on the switch. Takes a lot of damage, mind you, but it still survives and outspeeds Blissey. With that spread, Blissey takes minimum 103.50% from Close Combat.

Unless I'm not reading those EV's right, Rotom is 2HKO'd by Brave Bird, taking between 62.17% and 73.03%.

Mild to avoid the negative attack modifier. Resists or is immune to all attacks Maggie has. Hydro Pump delivers the pain.
