Introduction

Hello everyone! This is my first RMT on Smogon. The Team I'm about to present is based around Dhelmise. I would like to have it rated so I can bring out the best of this squad. Additional s/outs goes to FangFoe for helping me out with this team. Any feedback will be appreciated ^^

Building Process

:ss/dhelmise:
The first pokemon on this team and the team's base is Dhelmise. Dhelmise is a strong attacker that is good against a lot of pokemon in the metagame. It has good matchups against Pokemon like Urshifu-Rapid Strike, Landorous, the Slow twins and Hippowdon. No Pokemon in OU besides Bisharp can resist it's three Stabs. It has a good movepool with strong stab moves such as Power Whip, Poltergeist and a trapping option in Anchor Shot and Utility options like Rapid Spin, Synthesis, Knock Off, Switcheroo and Toxic.
:ss/dhelmise::ss/weavile:
The next mon i decided to add is Weavile. Weavile can easily beat mons that would trouble Dhelmise such as Dragonite, Dragapult and Flying types like Tornadus-T, Zapdos and Mandibuzz. Similarly, Dhelmise can take care of Pokemon that Weavile isnt so good against like Tapu Fini and Urshifu. Weavile can also be a good physical breaker after a Swords Dance and act as a revenge killer against several dangerous threats.
:ss/dhelmise::ss/weavile::ss/tapu fini:
Next, i wanted a defensive pokemon that could beat weavile while also being able to be a Specially boosting threat. Turns out Fini fits that role perfectly. Fini appreciates Dhelm being able to tank Grass and Electric moves for it while Fini provides it an Immunity to status. Fini can also take care of Fire types that Dhelm doesnt enjoy like Heatran, Blaziken and choiced Victini.
:ss/dhelmise::ss/weavile::ss/tapu fini::ss/heatran:
The next thing i was looking for is a Stealth Rocker. Heatran has a good matchup against pokemon like Tapu lele, Dragapult, Volcarona and Scizor. It's Magma Storm is helpful in trapping others. It can wear down pokemon such as Landorous-T allowing its teammates to easily cleanup the remains later.
:ss/dhelmise::ss/weavile::ss/tapu fini::ss/heatran::ss/tornadus-therian:
Tornadus Therian has a good matchup vs kartana if it switches in on a Leaf Blade or Sacred Sword vs a Life orb variant while also being a good defogger with U-turn and Regenerator. It has access to Knock off which allows it to remove leftovers and Heavy Duty Boots.
:ss/dhelmise::ss/weavile::ss/tapu fini::ss/heatran::ss/tornadus-therian::ss/zeraora:
The last Pokemon on this team is Zeraora which can function as a great pivot with its blazing fast speed and the only resists to it's Volt Switch being grounds and opposing Zeraora. It can also take care of opposing Tapu Fini and being able to beat Dragapult, Kyurem and Heatran.

Sets
:ss/dhelmise:
Dhelmise @ Leftovers
Ability: Steelworker
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 196 Def / 60 SpD
Impish Nature
- Anchor Shot
- Power Whip
- Synthesis
- Toxic

This set can tank a lot of hits and dish out damage as well. Anchor shot is a nice move that can trap walls and can break them with Toxic. Toxic also criples pokemon that would come into Dhelmise such as Landorous and Hydreigon . Power Whip is a strong move even unboosted and wrecks most neutral Pokemon. the last move is Synthesis which helps it last long against urshifu's repeated assaults.

:ss/weavile:
Weavile @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Swords Dance
- Icicle Crash
- Ice Shard

Weavile's set consists of the standard Swords Dance set. Knock off as a strong Dark type Stab. Icicle Crash over Triple Axel to avoid Rocky Helmet damage and avoiding Static Paralysis. Ice Shard to revenge kill threats such as Garchomp, Dragonite, Dragapult, Rillaboom etc. And Swords Dance for a boosting option.
:ss/tapu fini:
Tapu Fini @ Leftovers
Ability: Misty Surge
EVs: 252 HP / 192 Def / 64 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Taunt
- Scald
- Draining Kiss
Fini packs some nice utility with Calm Mind set. We have taunt to shut down mons trying to use a recovery move, status etc. Scald over Surf for any Rillaboom, Tapu lele or Koko trying to switch in. And lastly Draining kiss for better longevity and can be esspecially helpful in case your leftovers get knocked off. It's ability Misty Surge grants it and its teammates an immunity to status as long as the terrain is in affect.
:ss/heatran:
Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Stealth Rock
- Magma Storm
- Taunt
- Earth Power
Again, a standard stealth rocks set. Magma Storm is a great trapping move that can wear down enemy Pokemon quicker. Taunt allows it to break Toxapex Easily and Earth Power allows it to hit Toxapex and opposing Heatran. It's ability Flash Fire grants it an immunity to fire attacks which is really helpful for it's teammates like Dhelmise and Weavile. Leftovers is the item of choice here which gives Heatran reliable passive recovery.
:ss/tornadus-therian:
Tornadus-Therian (M) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hurricane
- U-turn
- Knock Off
- Defog

Tornadus's Stab Hurricane, while not very accurate, provides it a nice option that can 3hko most pokemon on top of it's side effect of a 30% confusion rate. U-turn works very well with Regenerator allowing it to repeatedly switch into Kartana and Rillaboom and pivot out as they switch. Knock off removes any item which crippled pokemon like Landorous and Heatran. Rouding out the set is Defog which provides Hazard control for the team.
:ss/zeraora:
Zeraora @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Plasma Fists
- Close Combat
- Volt Switch
- Knock Off

Lastly is Zeraora which provides an offensive pivot for the team. Zera can threaten otherwise dangerous threats such as Kyurem, Pult, Tornadus and beating mons such as Ferro, unboosted Bisharp, Corvinight, Toxapex and more while Volt Switch provides a good pivot option.

Threatlist

:tapu lele:: Lele is definetely the biggest threat to this team as it 2hkoes all pokemon on this team with /Psychic/Focus Blast/Moonblast
:zeraora:: Due to the lack of a ground type on this team, zera can be threatening as the only immunity to it's volt switch on this team is Zeraora itself

If you have problems with lele you could try the standard corvi knight set over tornadus, which still checks kart and rillaboom quite well. For zeraora maybe try out lando over heatran
