UUFPL is set up as an auction based team tournament, nearly identical to UUPL, except it gives some lesser known talents of the UU Community a chance to be selected as part of this experience. While nobody is restricted from joining, the goal is to open up the community to a team tour where more members can participate, joining vets and rookies in a unique experience unlike any other!

~~~~ ADV UU will be unofficially testing Kadabra and Lapras for the duration of UUFPL. As such, Kadabra and Lapras will be unbanned in ADV UU for this tour.
Be aware that if you sign up for a tier, a manager may draft you and expect you to play that tier. You may be purchased by any team, so please do not sign up if you are unwilling to work with one or more of the managers. Please only list formats that you would seriously be willing to play competitively at a high level. Do not sign up for tiers you don't play as a joke.
Some rules and regulations include:
- There will be no retains this year. The goal is to diversify the team environments and allow for new interactions within the UU community to happen.
- Each Manager starts with 150k credits. Only ONE manager can retain themselves.
- The minimum number of players per team is 15 (12 starters + 3 substitutes).
- There is no set maximum number of players per team.
- Tournament banned or circuit banned users are not allowed to sign up.
- Players already in UUPL are encouraged to sign up for UUFPL, but they cannot play/sign up for SV UU for UUFPL (except for the SV UU Unlimited Exception above).
- Additionally, players in UUPL cannot play a tier in UUFPL for which they have played at least one game for in UUPL by close of UUPL Week 4 (UUPL Weeks 5+ do not matter for this).
- While current managers in UUPL are not allowed to manage in UUFPL, they are allowed to sign up as players in UUFPL with no limitations if they are not playing in UUPL.
Signups will close in approximately 2 weeks (expect March 17th), the exact time to be announced when the draft date and time has been determined. Stay tuned for announcement of the draft date as well as selection of managers for this year of UUFPL.
