Sharks are finally getting back to where they should be, Setoguchi is in great touch and Marleau is still playing at a high level despite criticism that he's on a downward slope.

Who saw the end of the Canucks game? That was completely amazing.. Edler made an amazing diving poke check to prevent an empty net goal and then like .2 seconds after the buzzer went off the Canucks scored the game-tying goal...

My friends and I were talking on msn, right after the guy called it off, swear fest came on. It was hilarious.

Good attempt by the Canucks, but they just couldn't cut it.

sigh. Bad night for me. Other pool, I put Cammalleri on the bench because he was performing poorly. Scores 3 goals, and the game winner. Wow. Just wow.

I have a horrible hand at pools.

Also, sorry for the double post but I am too lazy to put two quotes in one thing no matter how easy it is. Throw up an offer for anything you are interested in, id like to move tavares as well....so, and id especially like to trade him to anyone but WER right now since that bastard refuses to make counter offers even though I specifically tell him to....grrr

I had Ovechkin, Penner, and Nash. Nash had 3 points, which is pretty good. Penner had a goal, Ovechkin had an assist. Ovie is Ovie, you always put him in the pool. I felt that Nash would have a good night tonight, which was good with 3 points. So it was the hot Penner, coming off a 5 point game, against Cammalleri who wasn't so hot.

Lundqvist got pounded in that game without any defensive support at all. S. Mason won, but let in 4 goals, which counts in that pool, and Rinne = lol. Thought he would do well this season, was mistaken greatly.

Toews just got injured, one of my 3 centres available. Had to pick up Gagne, while dropping someone who wasn't contributing but missed points for that game =/. Seabrook is also injured, and he was pretty hot too. 7 points in 9 games was it?

In the end, my friend destroyed me in that pool (hey, familiar story?) 14-5 and the week ends tomorrow. Coming off a 16 win from last week, losing 14-5 isn't pleasant.

Sabres just can't lose with Miller in net, it seems. Next game against the winless Leafs. Sounds like a recipe for Toronto's first win, eh?
 
Toronto finally wins a game, with "The Monster" in net. Seems like the team finally got sick of its low scoring offence, and went all out this game.

Unlucky for me, Toronto's first win comes against my starting goalie.

Burke is probably furious at the start of the season but I think he'll be a bit happier. I think the leafs will get a bit better as the season goes on.
