That's right. No breeding at all, just mass catching. I made this as a way my friends could have a decent chance while putting in as much or little effort to catching Pokemon and still be on semi-decent ground to each other. You could just catch six random Pokemon of different species, call it a team, pump it up to fifty, and be done with it, or... well, you can take it the Smogon route. :Dso obviously our friend or foe the RNG will determine our pokemon iv? good at least i don't think anyone can get a quint flawless in this way
Like I was with Teddiursa. :VNeos: anyone will be lucky if we get a tri flawless lol im just going to catch some stuff and see what i get

Considering not all the spots are filled yet, I'd say there's certainly still a chance. This looks amazingly interesting, any chance that i could be able to join? :P
Throwing bait makes a Pokémon less likely to run, but makes it harder to catch; while throwing a rock does the reverse, making it easier to catch but more likely to run. I've never gotten any percentages on this, though, on how they're altered by each.wow the safari zone guys are going to be rich any guide about the bait/rock/safari ball?
Emerald, Diamond, and Pearl, yes, others, no.Do synchers work in the sarfari zone? Don't know why they wouldn't...
Actually, it can get Air Slash, but not Bug Buzz.Btw, just realized how hampered Yanmega is...best set possible would look something like Protect/ Silver Wind/ Ancient Power/ Giga Drain. Total bummer, Air Slash would have been such rapage.
If you caught the Pokemon in third-gen, and it can learn the tutored moves in Emerald, I suppose I can allow those Platinum tutors to be used.Im totally in on this but I have a bit of a beef, not all of us have Emerald and access to its tutors (me), so by no Platinum tutros I kinda am getting screwed.
Would it be possible to change it so that, at the least, Pokemon can be tutored moves in Platinum that they can be tutored in Emerald? Mainly the Punches..
Also, are we allowed to trade for Pokemon in versions we cant get?
That is a good question Vivi, another good question is, can we trade amongst ourselves? For example I don't have FR/LG, so I don't have access to a potential powerhouse in Venomoth.
I'd really prefer not, as I'd like it to be about the trainers catching the Pokemon themselves. Otherwise, a subdivision of competitors could each "SR" for a single Pokemon and trade it with the others, and we end up with unoriginal Pokemon teams with the same IVs/natures. It's not quite the spirit I'm looking for.Thats what I was meaning, say I get A Venomoth but have little use for it and Tuskate gets a sweet Shuckle that I want, are we allowed to trade?
Actually i think Yanmega learns Air Slash @ level 49 :] *goes Yanma hunting*Hmmm just decided to go catch some Carnivine and got some good stuff!
Adamant 31/23/31/18/11/8
Super sweet for the swords dance set and...
Naughty 6/30/30/22/14/1
Hidden Power flying 64! Good for hitting Toxicroak, Heracross and Pinsir!
Pretty cool huh? Maybe I'll try and catch something actually competitive now.
