I have 6 that if worse came to worse, would make a decent team, im gonna take another 4-5 days to catch more stuffs.

Which is the main drawing point of the Safari Festival: you can just catch whatever and enter with that, and not be at as much of a disadvantage as those who uber-breed.
 
Yup yup, second bracket y'go. As mentioned, if we get enough people to join, it'll be a 32 instead of a 16.

Correct, so long as the Teddiursa caught in third-gen evolves into a Quick Feet Ursaring.

You know, those would be kick-ass defensive IVs if it wasn't a Carvanha. :(

I have caught a shit ton of Carvanha's with no luck at all. And I mean a shit fucking ton. That pokemon is just really hard to get good IV's for. I think the Great March in general sucks compared to the Emerald and Leaf Green Safari Zone.

ive gotten 1 really good one each in the marsh and safari..so i cant really say

i need a sweet team name..
 
Wow, this looks to be interesting. I don't have the patience to participate, but I'd be thrilled if someone would post vids/warstories from it (pretty please . . .*eager eyes*).

Anyway wanted to ask Lorak what the reasoning behind no platinum moves was. No Bullet Punch technician scizor!? :( xD

That's part of it, actually. :P Didn't want to get rid of another Pokemon that would be an obvious imbalance. However, the main reason is that I had this tourney idea planned since July, and wanted to start this two months ago. However, I was met with a lack of feedback from the tourney approved (I.E. the PM probably got deleted or read but forgotten to be replied to). Rather than change it for Platinum, I figured I'd just pretend Platinum didn't exist, for the time being.

And yes, warstories/vids highly welcome. Both sides might want to take details down, seeing as you won't have your precious percentages telling you exactly how much damage you did.
 
I hardly see stall as a possibility when the best special walls available are weak to probably the largest special sweeping threats, yanmega and venomoth, and when getting good defensive IVs is pretty hard. Might work though, what do I know, never played the "safari metagame" heh

So why should we limit are selves hum? I mean, is the item clause going to help the amount of pokemon we can use in this tournament? Nopes. So I can't say I see a point in it.
