I am pretty confident we will get our match done provided KG has built another team. I should see him online later I guess, if not we can get it done tomorrow.
On another note, I swear I read somewhere that the ban list would be fixed throughout the tournament...kinda sucks that it isn't in my view as people have to build yet more teams, but whatever I guess. Loads of people are going to have to change their teams to make sure they cover the incoming threats which dropped below 25th.
Well, that is a problem, but I can always give everyone some time to make teams, and when you say "loads" of people, remember that R4 will only include eight players, so it won't take
that long, hopefully. To be completely honest, KG was the one to propose that rule when he talked about approving this tournament, but it's a very logical rule. The "new OU" is supposed to be like a metagame. Pokemon get banned and get un-banned, and it's the players job to find the new "broken pokemon" and abuse it. This is actually part of the tournament.
I got a bit overboard with the explanation, but I'm just saying that ajusting teams is part of the tournament in my point of view. Besides - there's a good chance that some players made teams that won't be affected by the change (i.e. they used pokemon that weren't close to the 25 mark).
Well, that's about it. Players that are through to Rd 4 already should arrange their team even now, as the August statistics are up, as you now. The changes will be made next round, and extended battles will keep the ban list from this round (as they are still "Rd 3" battles).
