It is now Veto Round 3. Will end no sooner than 3/21 at 8 PM EST.
For now, I'm going to have die_entruckung submit actions via IRC while I look for a solution. I have a couple in mind, but want opinions from you guys on what to do.
1. Sub in someone who was eliminated already.
This would be the best option for running the game smoothly, but it feels a bit unfair to me that someone would get a second chance. If I can get a new sub, I'd do that, but subs have been hard to find.
2. Eliminiate Shaka now and just move to final 8.
This would probably be the fairest option that gets rid of Shaka but I doubt you guys will want to just abandon the current game.
3. Let Shaka continue to play only on IRC.
This is the option that changes things the least, but it could be annoying to do without forum PMs and such.

Btw you guys from the original 6 man alliance can't stop me even with vetoes from winning so I would recommend saving ur garnets so you can buy the token from me in exchange.

Honestly, I really do have a huge problem with this bullshit.
He gets subbed into this game midway through into an alliance that has a strategy already in place and more than half way completed. He gets full disclosure of our strategy because my group relies on him carrying out the actions because we are at a point of no return. He uses the half a game of actions meant to be given to Shaka for his own benefit to jump back to a previously established alliance from before to irrecoverably ruin our plans that he never intended to be included on in the first place?
Subbing him in mid-game and allowing this was pretty damned stupid, but I bit my tongue because I figured that it wouldn't be a big deal for this round and next round it'd be a fresh start because that's the best that could have been done under the circumstances.
I see two options that are viable. The best option would be to stop this round and redo it. Whether this means the same main match or a different main match, it's pretty clear that the results of this game cannot hold. If you don't want to do this, the 5th round needs to be redone and Shaka should be allowed to play from IRC until the matches end.
Letting this go on like it did would be bullshit to those of us who were forced to accept an existing player with an existing alliance in Twin into our plans 4/6ths the way through a match.
