[SET COMMENTS]
Calyrex-S aims to outspeed foes and dish out devastating damage early-game to soften them up for its partners. This set can additionally be used as a late-game cleaner. Calyrex-S has a positive matchup against Calyrex-I, which is threatened by Astral Barrage, and Calyrex-S has a favorable matchup against ability-reliant teams such as those based around Miraidon when it is paired with Galarian Weezing. Psychic is the primary Psychic-type STAB move for Calyrex-S; however, Expanding Force is preferred over Psychic when Calyrex-S is paired with Indeedee-F, granting it a strong Psychic-type STAB spread attack. Hyper Beam allows Calyrex-S to achieve crucial OHKOs against foes such as Miraidon with a Tera Normal boost. Pollen Puff allows Calyrex-S to threaten Farigiraf and Indeedee-F as well as sufficiently damaging Dark-types like Roaring Moon. Pollen Puff also allows Calyrex-S to sufficiently damage opposing Calyrex-S before and after Terastallizing. Pollen Puff can additionally heal Calyrex-S's ally in a pinch. Shadow Ball is used instead of Protect on Choice Specs sets, granting them a Ghost-type STAB attack unaffected by Wide Guard. Life Orb allows Calyrex-S to OHKO Amoonguss with Psychic; meanwhile, Choice Specs provides a greater damage increase, allowing Calyrex-S to OHKO Calyrex-I with Astral Barrage at the cost of move flexibility. Offensive Calyrex-S sets often maximize Special Attack and Speed; however, an alternative EV spread of 124 Def / 132 SpA / 252 Spe can be used to survive Surging Strikes from Tera Water Urshifu-R and threaten an OHKO in return. Tera Normal provides Calyrex-S with an immunity to Ghost-type attacks such as Astral Barrage from opposing Calyrex-S. Tera Normal additionally increases the damage of Hyper Beam, allowing Calyrex-S to OHKO Farigiraf, Groudon, and Amoonguss. Tera Dark provides Calyrex-S with resistances to opposing Calyrex-S's STAB attacks and Dark-type attacks like Knock Off from Incineroar and Roaring Moon. Tera Ghost is only used when Calyrex-S is using Choice Specs to maximize the damage of Astral Barrage, OHKOing bulk-invested Ogerpon-H and Whimsicott.

Calyrex-S is easily threatened by foes that can move before it attacks like Choice Scarf Urshifu-R as well as priority attacks like Sucker Punch from Chien-Pao. Dark-types like Incineroar and Roaring Moon can withstand Calyrex-S's offensive pressure and OHKO it in return. Farigiraf is difficult for Calyrex-S to damage with its immunity or resistance to Calyrex-S's STAB attacks. Calyrex-S also struggles against opposing Calyrex-S because it is forced to Terastallize to ensure it is not KOed if it moves after the opposing Calyrex-S. Offensive Calyrex-S is most commonly used on teams featuring Galarian Weezing as well as the combination of Dondozo and Tatsugiri. On these teams, Calyrex-S is usually lead with Galarian Weezing in order to deal significant damage to the opposing team with Calyrex-S, while Galarian Weezing disrupts them with Neutralizing Gas, which Calyrex-S is unaffected by. Dondozo and Tatsugiri are then brought in the back and sent onto the field to clean up late-game once Calyrex-S and Galarian Weezing have removed their threats. The partners used alongside Galarian Weezing, Dondozo, and Tatsugiri vary. Ogerpon-C is a great partner for Calyrex-S, providing redirection and easily threatening Urshifu-R, Chien-Pao, and Incineroar with its STAB attacks. Indeedee-F also provides redirection as well as setting Psychic Terrain to prevent threats from priority attacks and turn Calyrex-S's Expanding Force into a powerful spread attack. Iron Hands and Urshifu-R pair exceptionally well with Calyrex-S. Iron Hands can use Fake Out to disrupt foes, allowing Calyrex-S to easily KO them, and Urshifu-R often holds Choice Scarf, allowing it to keep up with threats that outspeed Calyrex-S. Both Iron Hands and Urshifu-R threaten Dark-types with Drain Punch and Close Combat respectively, while Calyrex-S threatens Ghost-types with Astral Barrage for Iron Hands and Urshifu-R. Roaring Moon can easily threaten Farigiraf and opposing Calyrex-S with Knock Off, and it additionally provides Tailwind support.

Calyrex-Shadow @ Life Orb / Choice Specs I suppose this is more something for the analysis moderators, but spell tag is a great item and fairly popular on CSR as well. If you do add it, note how it has a slightly smaller damage bonus than life orb and doesn't boost non-astral barrage moves, but avoids the life orb recoil

You probably want to mention Nasty Plot here - it's a great move to punish defensive play and get CSR to OHKO things such as 252 hp / 0 spdef caly ice through tera if it has life orb/greatly increase its damage output (but of course mention it is only ran on life orb). Psyshock as well helps CSR against calm mind terapagos and calm mind kyogre, which could/would otherwise be difficult matchups.

Calyrex-S aims to outspeed and dish out devastating damage in the early-game to soften up foes for its partners. This set can additionally be used as a late-game cleaner. Calyrex-S has positive matchups against Calyrex-I and Zamazenta-C This is not cut and dry due to most zamazenta running wide guard, meaning calyrex isn't able to use astral barrage comfortably. This means zamazenta's partners can start doing a lot of work, and it is necessary to call wide guard correctly if you are in a situation where astral barrage would be a favourable move to click if it went off. where Calyrex-I is threatened by Astral Barrage and Zamazenta-C struggles to sufficiently damage Calyrex-S. Expanding Force is preferred over Psychic when Calyrex-S is paired with a partner capable of setting up Psychic Terrain like Indeedee-F granting Calyrex-S a stronger spread Psychic-type STAB attack. Hyper Beam allows Calyrex-S to achieve crucial OHKOes against foes such as Miraidon with a Tera Normal boost. Pollen Puff allows Calyrex-S to threaten Grass-types like Rillaboom, as well as sufficiently damaging Dark-types like Roaring Moon. Dark Pulse allows Calyrex-S to threaten Farigiraf, a common check to Calyrex-S. Shadow Ball is used instead of Protect on Choice Specs sets granting them a Ghost-type STAB attack unaffected by Wide Guard. Life Orb increases Calyrex-S's damage meanwhile Choice Specs provides a greater damage increase at the cost of move flexibility. Tera Normal provides Calyrex-S with an immunity to Ghost-type attacks such as Astral Barrage from opposing Calyrex-S, as well as removing its weakness to Dark-type attacks like Knock Off from Incineroar. Tera Normal additionally increases the damage of Hyper Beam allowing Calyrex-S to OHKO huge threats like Miraidon. Tera Dark transforms Calyrex-S's Ghost- and Dark-type weaknesses into resistances, and makes it immune to psychic-type moves from opposing Calyrex-S which would otherwise threaten it. This is one of the main draws of tera dark Calyrex.

Calyrex-S also struggles against opposing Calyrex-S because it is forced to Tera to ensure it is not KOed if Calyrex-S moves after the opposing Calyrex-S. Ogerpon-C is a great partner for Calyrex-S providing redirection and it can easily threaten both Urshifu-R, Chien-Pao, and Incineroar with its STAB attacks. Indeedee-F also provides redirection as well as setting Psychic Terrain to prevent threats from priority attacks. Iron Hands and Urshifu-R pair exceptionally well with Calyrex-S. Iron Hands can use Fake Out to disrupt foes allowing Calyrex-S to easily KO them Explain that running Iron Hands means you will often not be running Rillaboom (due to both heavily wanting assault vest), which makes Calyrex more vulnerable to Miraidon. and Urshifu-R often holds Choice Scarf Mention focus sash as well, as it is the most popular set currently. allowing it to keep up with threats that outspeed Calyrex-S. Both Iron Hands and Urshifu-R threatens Dark-types with Drain Punch and Close Combat respectively, while Calyrex-S threatens Ghost-types with Astral Barrage for Iron Hands and Urshifu-R. Roaring Moon can easily threaten opposing Calyrex-S with Knock Off and Roaring Moon additionally provides Tailwind support. Offensive Calyrex-S is often used on teams featuring Galarian Weezing as well as the combination of Dondozo and Tatsugiri. In these teams, Calyrex-S is usually lead with Galarian Weezing in order to deal significant damage to the opposing team with Calyrex-S, while Galarian Weezing disrupts them with its Neutralizing Gas of which Calyrex-S is unaffected by which does not affect Calyrex-S. This sentence is annoying to read at best, and can be easily rewritten into a more comprehensible statement. Dondozo and Tatsugiri are then brought in the back and sent onto the field once Calyrex-S and Galarian Weezing have removed their threats. Mention that Chien-Pao + Entei is often run on these kinds of teams.

Pollen Puff allows Calyrex-S to threaten Grass-types like Rillaboom Farigiraf and Indeedee-F, (Rillaboom still takes a lot from Astral Barrage and Puff is slightly stronger than boosted Expanding Force, you will click Pollen Puff far less against it than the two Pokemon that hard wall your STAB combo.) as well as sufficiently damaging Dark-types like Roaring Moon. Pollen Puff also allows Calyrex-S to sufficiently damage opposing Calyrex-S before and after Tera. Pollen Puff can additionally heal Calyrex-S's ally in a pinch. Shadow Ball is used instead of Protect on Choice Specs sets granting them a Ghost-type STAB attack unaffected by Wide Guard. Life Orb increases Calyrex-S's damage allowing it to OHKO Amoonguss with Psychic meanwhile Choice Specs provides a greater damage increase allowing Calyrex-S to OHKO Calyrex-I with Astral Barrage at the cost of move flexibility. Tera Normal provides Calyrex-S with an immunity to Ghost-type attacks such as Astral Barrage from opposing Calyrex-S. Tera Normal additionally increases the damage of Hyper Beam allowing Calyrex-S to OHKO huge threats like Miraidon (This is up to you but personally dislike repetition. You could point out Farigiraf, Groudon, Amoonguss as replacement examples.). Tera Dark provides Calyrex-S with resistances to opposing Calyrex-S's STAB attacks and it resists Dark-type attacks like Knock Off from Incineroar and Roaring Moon. Tera Ghost is only used when Calyrex-S is using Choice Specs to maximize the damage of Astral Barrage allowing it to 2HKO Kyogre and Assault Vest Groudon as well as providing a small chance to OHKO Miraidon. (I don't like these examples as 252 Hp Kyogre almost always falls to 2 Specs Astral Barrages, and the same goes for Groudon without extra SpD investment. A 30% roll should also not be mentioned over another Pokemon. Pokemon like AV Raging Bolt & Iron Hands, Bulky Ogerpon-H, Bulky Whimsicott, even Entei and Bulky Flutter Mane are only rolls that get guaranteed with Tera Ghost.)

Farigiraf is difficult for Calyrex-S to damage with its immunity and resistance to both of Calyrex-S's STAB attacks. Calyrex-S also struggles against opposing Calyrex-S because it is forced to Tera to ensure it is not KOed if Calyrex-S moves after the opposing Calyrex-S. Offensive Calyrex-S is most commonly used on teams featuring Galarian Weezing as well as the combination of Dondozo and Tatsugiri. Dondozo and Tatsugiri are then brought in the back and sent onto the field to clean up in the late-game once Calyrex-S and Galarian Weezing have removed their threats. The partners used alongside Galarian Weezing, Dondozo and Tatsugiri vary. Ogerpon-C is a great partner for Calyrex-S providing redirection and it can easily threaten both Urshifu-R, Chien-Pao, and Incineroar with its STAB attacks. Indeedee-F also provides redirection as well as setting Psychic Terrain to prevent threats from priority attacks and increases the damage of Expanding Force from Calyrex-S as well as transforming it into a spread attack. Iron Hands and Urshifu-R pair exceptionally well with Calyrex-S. Iron Hands can use Fake Out to disrupt foes allowing Calyrex-S to easily KO them and Urshifu-R often holds Choice Scarf allowing it to keep up with threats that outspeed Calyrex-S. Offensive Calyrex-S sets often maximize Special Attack and Speed; (RC, ASC) however, (AC) an alternative EV spread of 124 Def / 132 SpA / 252 Spe can be used to survive Surging Strikes from Tera Water Urshifu-R and threaten an OHKO in return. Tera Normal provides Calyrex-S with an immunity to Ghost-type attacks such as Astral Barrage from opposing Calyrex-S. Tera Normal additionally increases the damage of Hyper Beam, (AC) allowing Calyrex-S to OHKO Farigiraf, Groudon, (AC) and Amoonguss. Tera Dark provides Calyrex-S with resistances to opposing Calyrex-S's STAB attacks and it resists Dark-type attacks like Knock Off from Incineroar and Roaring Moon. Tera Ghost is only used when Calyrex-S is using Choice Specs to maximize the damage of Astral Barrage, (AC) OHKOing allowing it to OHKO (you used "allowing Calyrex-S to..." often in this paragraph) bulk-invested Ogerpon-H and Whimsicott.

Farigiraf is difficult for Calyrex-S to damage with its immunity and or resistance to both of Calyrex-S's STAB attacks. Calyrex-S also struggles against opposing Calyrex-S because it is forced to Tera Terastallize to ensure it is not KOed if Calyrex-S it moves after the opposing Calyrex-S. Offensive Calyrex-S is most commonly used on teams featuring Galarian Weezing as well as the combination of Dondozo and Tatsugiri. On these teams, Calyrex-S is usually lead with Galarian Weezing in order to deal significant damage to the opposing team with Calyrex-S, while Galarian Weezing disrupts them with its Neutralizing Gas, (AC) which Calyrex-S is unaffected by in the early-game. (As One is completely unaffected.) Dondozo and Tatsugiri are then brought in the back and sent onto the field to clean up in the late-game once Calyrex-S and Galarian Weezing have removed their threats. The partners used alongside Galarian Weezing, Dondozo, (AC) and Tatsugiri vary. Ogerpon-C is a great partner for Calyrex-S, (AC) providing redirection and it can easily threaten both threatening Urshifu-R, Chien-Pao, and Incineroar with its STAB attacks. Indeedee-F also provides redirection as well as setting Psychic Terrain to prevent threats from priority attacks and increases the damage of turn Calyrex-S's Expanding Force from Calyrex-S as well as transforming it into a powerful spread attack. Iron Hands and Urshifu-R pair exceptionally well with Calyrex-S. Iron Hands can use Fake Out to disrupt foes, (AC) allowing Calyrex-S to easily KO them, (AC) and Urshifu-R often holds Choice Scarf, (AC) allowing it to keep up with threats that outspeed Calyrex-S. Both Iron Hands and Urshifu-R threatens threaten Dark-types with Drain Punch and Close Combat respectively, while Calyrex-S threatens Ghost-types with Astral Barrage for Iron Hands and Urshifu-R. Roaring Moon can easily threaten Farigiraf and opposing Calyrex-S with Knock Off, and Roaring Moon it additionally provides Tailwind support.
