This small town between Dendemille Town and Anistar City hosts a peculiar festival every year during October. The paved streets are rather narrow, giving it an eerie allure... Ornemental lanterns, carved pumpkins and decorated facades are the theater of your battles. Some passerbys even watch you from time to time, cheering on you to continue your night of trick-or-treating and sometimes trying to distract the Pokémon with candy.

Wave Structure
- Enemies are fought in consecutive battles where all battle status carries forward between battles. Screens, hazards, weather, temporary status, and so on. Each set of enemies is called a Wave.
- The first two waves are Early, the third and fourth are Middle, and the fifth wave onward are Late.
- Every odd-numbered wave has two random appropriate opponents; every even-numbered wave has three.
- The same opponent can occur multiple times in the same challenge, or even the same wave.
- If an opponent pivots or is phazed, they are sent to the next wave. They will appear in that wave with their HP and Major status left intact.
- On wave 5, one of the three opponents is always the Harvest King.
Opponent Behavior
Opponents will act according to a pre-determined behavior list, as follows.
- Opponents have six pre-made ordersets that they choose from semi-randomly.
- Opponents don't have, spend, or require Energy.
- When the ref is rolling orders for the opponents, they will use one of their special ordersets if their condition is met. They will use one of their ordinary ordersets if the condition is not met.
- Thus, rolling multiple dice out of 3 is sufficient to determine all opponents' ordersets.
- The opponents are desperate for the candy of the trick-or-treaters. Their Struggle has 9 BAP, does not inflict recoil, and targets a player Pokemon at random.
Opponents choose their targets for any single-target actions in their behaviors using a strict logic.
- Opponents will target the player Pokemon who ordered first, if their behavior doesn't further specify.
- This also applies if multiple Pokemon meet that opponent's behavior conditions. (e.g. "target a Burned opponent" and both players are Burned.)
- Taunt's unique status will redirect the subject's moves to the user for the duration, rather than prevent non-damaging moves.
There are 30 Normal Mode Achievements. Each achievement raises the shared global score by 1.
- Heal an ally with a damaging attack, or with an ability triggered by that attack.
- Deal 50 or more damage with one attack.
- Hit with four super-effective attacks with different types in one round.
- Redirect four or more attacks in a single round.
- Raise an ally's stats with Magnetic Flux, Rototiller, or Gear Up.
- Have +6 in a stat stage.
- Start and end a round with the same Substitute decoy.
- Have foes use Struggle four or more times in one round.
- Drain a total of 50 or more HP with draining attacks.
- Start and end a round with 1 HP on the same ally Pokemon.
- Defeat four or more Pokemon with a single attack.
- Deliver seven or more critical hits in a single round.
- Defeat the Harvest King with all four of your team's Pokemon remaining.
- Defeat the Harvest King with only one (1) of your team's Pokemon remaining.
- Have five or more abilities on one Pokemon at once.
- Have four or more types on one Pokemon at once.
- Use After You and Quash in the same round.
- Raise stat stages with every action your team takes in a round.
- Lower stat stages with every action your team takes in a round.
- Have a core stat rank (Atk, Def, SpA, SpD) of 20 or more.
- Use two combinations in the same step, twice in your challenge.
- Have 10 or more total positive stat stages on the same Pokemon at once.
- Have all seven of a single Pokemon's stat stages be negative.
- With both of your trick-or-treaters in play, knock out two or more opponents in the same round.
- Defeat two or more opponents in the first round of a wave.
- While affected by Trick-or-Treat, use Trick.
- Defeat the Harvest King within five rounds in wave 5.
- Defeat the Harvest King in the first round of wave 6.
- Defeat the Harvest King in the first round of wave 7.
- Defeat the Harvest King in the first round of wave 8.
