Dusknoir @chesto berry
-WoW
-Shadow Punch
-Shadow Sneak
-Taunt

wins vs bronzong, azelf, gengar and can burn nearly everything
im thinking about using spiritomb, but knoir as the better stats :x

and trick is also an option, giving the opponent nothing/chesto for lefties

Trick is better, as Dusknoir is far too slow to use Taunt, which would only work on Bronzong. Anyone else would have already used SR/other moves or Taunt. Trick a CB

And replace Shadow Punch with another move, otherwise you get completely walled by normal pokemon (and while they're not common starters, you gain little by having Shadow Punch, 60 base power is pitiful, even non STAB Earthquake does more damage. Have Fire Punch for the Steels (and if using CB Trick, have Stone Edge to hit flying pokemon).

But still, a lack of movepool suitable for ubers combined with horrible speed don't make it a good lead. And sleep is better for a lead than burn.

I think Trick is exactly what my Spiritomb lead needs. I've been trying to use Taunt with him and having minimal success. It'll shut down anyone I would have been shutting down with Taunt anyhow.

This is one of the leads that I've been testing recently:

Lv 1 Smeargle @ Focus Sash
Hasty - Own Tempo
252 Atk, 252 Spe

- Spore
- Endeavor
- Extremespeed
- Stealth Rock

This Smeargle is extremely fun. It takes a good deal of prediction to use but with the right moves I can incapacitate most opposing leads and gain the advantage in the battle. It has a lot of difficulty with Substitute users and Lum Berry users, and you need a good sleep absorber for the Roserade leads, but apart from that it can give me the advantage in almost every battle.

I've been thinking about putting Encore / Snatch / Magic Coat over Extremespeed, just to deal with Sleep and Sub leads. Anyone got any opinions on whether I should, and if yes then with what?

EDIT: Oh and if the Focus Sash is intact, it makes a great revenge killer for Salamence locked in Outrage =).

LR.

Ice Shard?

I would like to close this thread. By the looks of it, this thread has drifted away from its original purpose. There is a thread in C&C, that focuses on leads, and I figure that this thread is no more than that; perhaps less. I initially wanted to come up with inovative leads, which would be widely effective for your day-in-day-out matches. But I think it is safe to say that all we are doing is presenting our own personal leads here; frustratingly ones which are already famously used on a regular basis.

Regardless, thank you for the responses.
