Hey guys, this is the latest combo video of Ken, The King of Smash. Please note that I did not make this video. I just wanted to share this amazing video with you guys. This is a Melee combo video. Please do not turn this into a Melee versus Brawl argument thread. It is a very cool combo video, please enjoy the video guiz. :)

I was really excited when I saw the topic title and thought someone had finally made a video of me. Sadly this was not to be.

itt false advertising and disappointment.
 
Not to mention videos of Melee.

Are there any good videos of Ken playing Brawl? I haven't really been following the competitive scene.
 
There you are mistaken, Yoshi King. Melee is far superior to Brawl, and any good video of Melee is more exciting to watch than any great Brawl video.
 
Oh fuck off all of you, an opinion is an opinion, and just because you guys cream your pants over "Oh man did he wavedash there did he L-cancel there holy shit what the fuck" and prefer a fast-paced game, doesn't mean I don't have the right to enjoy a slower-paced game that opens up to new players by taking out all of those shitty glitches.

(Do not mistake my stance on "advanced techniques" as that of a scrub. I used to play competitive Melee too, and I hated it. It's the same as preferring a stall-type team to a team full of sweepers in Pokemon, you guys).

Except the reference to a stall team looks alot more like Brawl and the sweeper team looks alot more like Melee.

Tbh, it's your own preference to whether you like Melee/Brawl more. I don't mind that fact nor do I have anything against it. But I don't see what Brawl has in it that makes it more exciting to look at than Melee.

We're also overlooking the potential fact that 64 > Melee/Brawl. :)

good video, nothing I haven't really seen before in other ones but that can't be helped I guess. Pretty surprised that this got its own individual thread though.

Yoshi King is entitled to his own opinion and it doesn't need to be criticised (no opinion does).
I enjoy brawl more than melee because of the pace.
Edit: the video was everything that i have already seen.

I prefer zero-death combos and impenetrable edgeguarding as much as I prefer no combos and impossible edgeguarding. :justin2:
 
This was a borderline allowed topic from the beginning and now it's just ruined. Continue discussion of the VIDEO in the Melee thread. Some people prefer Melee, some people prefer Brawl. Nobody gives a shit about your opinion on which is better. Discuss your game of choice in the appropriate thread.
